Holy shit this ep was great. i know that Dee gone a bit too far in this ep, but i can't be mad at him cause he said it himself early in the ep that he doesn't like to lose and he admited that its not a part of him that he think highly of. and after so many loses relentlessly pursuing Yak was probably the only thing he felt he in control with. and at the end he stopped and realized that its his own problems and it's not fair to drag Yak into it. what he did was not good but it's very human and it make me like him more as a character, flaws and all.

Death Note x Naruto has taken over my brain these days, so I did another au (inspired by a friend's psychoanalysis on Madara who made me like bipolar Madara hc)

Basically, Madara take Light Yagami's place as Kira, killing criminals. One of the differences, tho, is that he doesn't wanna be acknowledged, since it would make his objective a lot harder

Kaguya is the shinigami, yey!! Should've I used Black Zetsu due to his nonhuman look? Yes, but I wanted to make Kaguya with a Samara from The Ring aspect + Kaguya is the mind behind Zetsu in anime + I like her better = Kaguya won

ANYWAY!!! Some lore points I have for now:

— Izuna takes Misa's place, bc he wants to help his brother getting rid of all the bad people; he seems somewhat more excited/engaged for this whole "new world's god" thing than Madara tho

Unlike Misa, he doesn't have the shinigami eyes, since Madara doesn't want his younger brother to take half of his lifespan away, especially when he already got it. Idk if Izuna has his own death note, so maybe he helps his bro in some other way (like the Oracle from DC vibes?)

— Madara wrote Tobirama's name as a "test" to see if the notebook was true. Why? Because that's his brother's ex who broke up horribly with him so why not (they realized they don't know where he is, so they couldn't possibly know if it work. two dummies)

— L is Tobirama... in the sense of who's against Kira, not who's the detective

"But he's dead way before Kira's mass killing was recognized as someone's doing, how is that possible??" you may ask, and I say

"Tobirama" is a fake name

See, l like mad scientist Tobirama and it's variations, so I needed to put this here. He's a criminal who never got caught, a really secretive one about his personal life, so most of the time he's using a fake identity to prevent people to keep a track on him; so it means Izuna didn't know his actual name and gave the fake one to Madara

"Tobirama" was one of the first people to realize all those deaths were induced by someone, so, in order to prevent his possible death in case he's caught, he started to hunt who could be Kira

— "Tobirama" is Hashirama's brother. He dyes his hair and wear eye contacts (and other things too like, idk, different clothing, some light make up to give a different look on his face) while undercover, so he can take a double life

You can't even imagine Madara's surprise when he finally realize his friend's brother and "Tobirama" are the same person

(I wanna make Itama = Tobirama, with his white hair + red eyes combo being his undercover while he has natural colors in his actual appearance, but I'm still deciding how confusing and cool it could be)

— Near and Mello aren't related to L in the slightest. I haven't decided yet who they could be (Maybe Kakashi=Near and Obito=Mello), but they would still be really close to the government and be, indeed, detective prodigies

Maybe they're chasing Kira at the same time as L? If I decide so, it would make Madara's life way harder, since it's both a criminal (with other criminals' contacts and accessibilities) and the government (two people above it, tbh) against him..... nah, he'd be caught way earlier, I need fun

Do you think that Cher is gonna leave Yei after finding out about his secrets? I’m not sure but will be indeed shocked about the fact that his brother is engaged

Not leave forever, no. But I do think that the ongoingly lying is going to be more than Cher can cope with to stay with Yei in that moment. He's been begging him to share his burden and to find out they lost their home and their livelihood and he didn't ever know they were in danger? To find out that Yei really has been holding back from him and not trusting or leaning on him... I think Cher is going to need space after, even if it's temporary.

And, honestly, that's real. It's hard to know how much you trust someone and to find out that the trust in you is different. Cher is trusting Yei to not be lying to him again and again and again and then it turns out that not only was he lying but he was lying about something Cher wanted to help with and was worried about and was told not to worry about and now they lost everything?

Cher is going to need space and Yei is going to need to apologize and talk to him.

the walk from your bus stop to her classroom was beyond dreadful, you had to push jinsik to go first saying you had to buy something for class although it was clear the boy did not buy your lame excuse and kept questioning you what it was so he could come, your eyes lighting up when you see yujun as you hurriedly pair him with equally sleepy yujun who had no idea what was going on and just went with whatever you wanted him to do, you sigh as you drag your feet across the halls, hoping that the students running around don't bump into you, fate however was clearly not favouring you

you help as you feel a force from the back of your shoulder, immidiately causing you to trip and fall against the floor, your eyes shut tight as you wince upon impact, sitting up to check your hand which felt a stung, possibly scratched from the Lego or a keychain or one among the mainy things on the floor, your eyes lazily scanned for anyone that felt guilty enough to come forward and acknowledge their wronging but nonetheless, the kids in your class were known to be arrogant

you walk over to your bench, still a small frown on your face to which only your bestfriend seemed to notice

"oh what's wrong? yujun told me you were the one setting them up on a date?" you shoot him a confused look, looking at yujun and jinsik laughing at each other a small smile forms as you take a seat, "i didn't want him to help me carry my bag like last time" you speak as you lay your head ontop of your hands, "he's really kind" he speaks as he joins you, nudging your head with his, that was his way to annoy you ever since you were kids, he knew you would get all sulky and hunt down anyone who disturbs your sleep yet it seems like he loves risking his life too much

"stop it" you groan as you feel yourself drifting to dreamland again, "mm our teachers gonna be here soon" hyunwoo adds as he continues to annoy you, now poking various things he finds near him to your head, your hand takes away all items from him before he's 'weaponless'

"Hyunwoo stop" you lift your head to see him grinning mischievously, stop was not a word in his vocabulary but being a menace surely was, maintaining eye contact as he pokes your forehead, and that was your last straw. You plunge into attacking him as his foxy laugh gets louder each second with how aggressive you tickle him

jinsik pov

"They seem so close" you mutter which didn't go unnoticed by yujun, "y/n and hyunwoo? oh yeah they're friends since elementary school, I just joined their gang with you but I'm a victim to his antics" Yujun jokes as he pops another candy into his mouth, you simply nod, thinking to yourself if you could ever bring y/n to laugh and smile the same way hyunwoo did

3rd person pov

the day passes with jinsik hanging out with yujun, slightly looking up to catch glimpses of y/n and unaware that he was smiling too wide until yujun chimed in to tease him

y/n on the other hand felt pressured, maybe pushing jinsik away wasn't a good idea from how he kept avoiding her eyes and only ever was interested in speaking to yujun, that was all she could think about even while in class

unaware to her that jinsik was simply too shy, his eyes never leaving her when she was away knowing he could admire her for longer

"why don't you just confess" yujun state as he comes up behind jinsik, startling the poor man, "but what if she doesn't like me?" what if she didn't like jinsik indeed, he saw the way she gets so happy with hyunwoo, the way she looks at him with stars in her eyes, the way the two joke around, the way even their families were close, they were inseperable, jinsik kept going with his thoughts unaware that he was actually saying them out loud and yujun was patiently listening to it all with a grin

"confess to her." "yujun please." "No i mean it, do it today" Jinsik looks at yujun as if he's ready to shake him back to reality, the reality that y/n didn't like jinsik, a fake reality created from jinsiks denial

"do it and I'll buy you lunch tomorrow" yujun states, knowing jinsik would take advantage but hey if it meant both of his favourite people ending up to be a couple then so be it.

"fine.." Jinsik sighs, there was no escape to not fulfilling what yujun asks, and so he walks up to his crush, his heartbeat quickening with each step he takes towards her

"hey" jinsik calls out to y/n and sits next to her, his face going from nervous to relief as he sees her, "hi" y/n speaks, the two just sit in silence, at times glancing at each other and holding eye contact, only to break it after five seconds, "so um, you like hyunwoo?" jinsik asks, his face refusing to turn to y/n, y/n however was confused, "hyunwoo? he's a close friend but that's all, yujun too" now it was jinsiks turn to be confused, "you don't like hyunwoo?", "no? why would I?" y/n asks, jinsik pauses , "then who do you like?" "who told you I like someone?" y/n mentally slaps herself, she didn't mean it to sound as if she was interrogating him, "oh I was just.... curious" jinsik states awkwardly, "so who do you like?" y/n hesitates , staring at the concrete below, "you can just point it out or-" jinsik gets cut off with y/n, "you're not good at reading people you know", "hm?" Jinsik asks, caught off guard, "i don't like hyunwoo, i like someone else" y/n says now fully facing him, "who is it then?" Jinsik asks again, y/n's face softens, her feet, as if it has a mind own, her eyes moving between his eyes and his lips, jinsik however feels his heart race once again, seeing her gaze on his lips made him feel nervous yet he gathered yo courage to cup her face and lean in, pausing right when his lips brush against hers, his eyes were on hers, asking for permission, he feels her shyly nod, he wastes no time to connect his lips with hers, his hand traveling from her face to her jaw to her hand and to the small of her back, completely overwhelmed but never wanting to break the kiss, until he felt a tap from her, she breaks the kiss, jinsiks eyes still closed, eyebrows knitted together as he misses the feeling of her lips on his, slowly opening to see her looking at him the same way she looked at hyunwoo, only to him it seemed as if she had more Twinkle on her eyes, gazing at him oh so lovingly which made him feel so fuzzy, he connects his forehead with hers, smiling ear to ear as he shuts his eyes, still shy that he kissed his own crush

Jinsiks face finds its way to the crook of her neck, resting there for sometime before he speaks again ,"I'll walk you home" he mumbles , "I'd love that" she speaks, her head resting softly above his as he hand grazes through his hair

The next day, all y/n could think of was jinsik, how his pillowy lips moved against hers, how he kept pulling her in, how he, even after dropping you home, pulled you in for another quick peck and got all shy and quiet, blush jinsik was truly a sight to see, y/n smiles to herself as she sits down on her desk, feeling a chit under her desk, 'hi girlfriend ^°^ I've left some brownies for you in your locker, have fun today my love !!' you couldn't hide your smile, however she didn't know both yujun and hyunwoo were reading it behind her, "OH MY GOD HE DID CONFESS" hyunwoo screamed, startling y/n, "WHAT THE- HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN STANDING THERE WTF"

that lovely anon put the modern au back on my mind and i actually got started on the next hc post about the kamaboko squad, yey! (when will i finish it? uhh next question)

for the time being, here's some random lore i cooked up during the great lung infection of december 23

tengen and gyutaro have a blood feud going on and there's plenty of theories on how it started. some say it was because gyutaro got a little too flirty with hinatsuru at the club right in front of tengen, some say tengen may or may not have called daki a bitch to gyutaro's face. insiders know that tengen actually called her a cunt.

the people are split on the topic; obanai finds himself 100% on tengen's side for once because the one time they actually met daki called kaburamaru a worm, tanjiro is conflicted because daki is kind of a bitch but tengen really should be above having beef with a 16 year old and also it's a rude thing to say, douma thinks gyutaro should challenge tengen to a duel, and their mutual friend akaza wishes tengen and gyutaro would just get over themselves and act like adults for once instead of driving him insane with their endless complaining about each other. everybody else refuses to take a stance but is thoroughly entertained by the whole thing

anyway the whole thing culminated in an epic fist fight that sent both of them to the er at 2am and they have not been in the same room since

(daki is 16 and gyutaro is 20, i took some liberties with the demons' ages)

the layout of the unnamed town in which this au exists is essentially a valley surrounded by the mountainiest mountains to ever mountain and lots of forests, the town is pretty much middle of the road in terms of size; it's certainly small enough for people to be nosy af

the majority of the cast lives in the same part of town except for urokodaki, sabito and makomo (urokodaki's dojo is on one of the mountains and a bit outside of town, sabito lives with roommates while going to university tho) and gyomei who used to live on the other side of town until he started attending university

obanai and kanao weren't born in the valley and are both from the same city. kanao was adopted by the kocho family when she was seven years old, around the same time obanai became a nationwide sensation after every other member of the cult he grew up in died

obanai finds out about this when he starts spending more time with kanae through sanemi and meets all of her sisters and he gets fiercely protective whenever people try to tie kanao back to the cult, he'll snap at anyone who dares to accuse her of having connections to them

koyuki and mitsuri know each other from elementary school and stayed friends all throughout their teens which makes mitsuri the first one who accepts akaza into their circle when he gets together with kyojuro because while he is indeed a little scary she has seen how much koyuki loves her adoptive brother and she can't be that bad of a judge of character

senjuro and rui are in the same class in elementary school and they immediately flock together, being both shy outsiders and somewhat lonely kids. despite being sickly rui is a rascal who helps senjuro get out of his comfort zone and loosen up every now and then, meanwhile senjuro always keeps an eye on rui and always comes over when rui is feeling too weak to go to school

added bonus of rui hating that he's an only child and kyojuro being more than happy to insert himself as an older brother figure

sanemi and tengen become friends when sanemi is in ninth and tengen is in eleventh grade; they both have to do detention with muzan (their awful history teacher) and immediately hate each other until sanemi gets into a discussion with muzan and tengen notices hey this feral bastard is pretty cool actually. tengen helps sanemi with the detention work later on because ofc muzan isn't accommodating to sanemi's dysgraphia in the slightest and sanemi has to admit to himself that maybe the loud diva isn't half bad.

they leave the detention in an awkward state of mutually appreciated coexistence and sanemi spends the whole weekend anxiously trying to figure out how to proceed but luckily tengen is intrusive af and has absolutely zero issues welcoming himself at sanemi's, mitsuri's and giyuu's lunch table the monday after and from then on getting closer feels rather natural

inosuke lives with his mother and hisa and owns a pet pig. the pig's name is miss inosuke-sama because he wanted to name it after himself but then his mother told him that it was a "girl pig" and he added the miss in front of it because it felt disrespectful not to do so. needless to say inosuke and miss inosuke-sama are best friends for life and when he brings her to his first day of kindergarten it does get him in trouble immediately but also his new friend tanjiro is sufficiently charmed and if that's not a win then honestly what is

HELP GYU AND TENGEN FIGHTING KJRKJERKJEJKR It's some Romeo and Juliet 1968 levels of ridiculous where everyone just kinda ran out and mosh pitted in the middle of town square- only instead it's Tengen and Gyutaro and their constantly throwing childish insults and mean girl quotes at one another ("Nice wig, Tengen what's it made of?" "Your mother's chest hair" "WHY YOU-"

Oh gosh the one time Obanai's on Tengen's side jkakjajrkejkr I feel like their mutual anguish for Daki brings them closer you know? I'm with Tanjiro though- while she may be..difficult, Tengen really shouldn't be beefing with a 16 year old at his grown age ajkrkjarjkearjk Douma suggesting a Duel (he'd be in his Hamilton era) and Akaza being over it is a MOOD!

THE FIST FIGHT I CANNOT- Makio gets a call from Tengen all: "Hey babe...so I won't be coming home tonight.." with a selfie of him getting stitches and Gyutaro on the opposite side of the room with his leg in a cast half out of it as the pain meds kicked in.

Oo, I love the idea of the town being a mountain area! It fits with the whole forests and wisteria set up in the show, plus everything being just big enough to hold everyone but juuuust small enough to keep them in everyone's business is such a charming thought!

Protective Obanai! I love a good rare pair! I feel like Kanao's the type of girl who could utterly destroy you verbally if she feels like it but it's so rare that most assume she's incredibly non-confrontational (which, for the most part is true? Maybe not incredibly but like- she's came to peace that no matter what she says to the people trying to tie her back to the cult they'll never listen so she lets them run their mouths) but also appreciates Obanai being such a protective soul to her? While her sisters are incredible, she couldn't help but feel a little envious of Genya having such a ferocious big brother in his life so Obanai kinda fills that void for her, you know?

Ahhh Mitsuri! She's such a queen- I love how accepting she is! She's the type to see past all the rumors and fronts people put up, so while others might see Akaza's scary outsides, she's been around him enough to witness his gooey insides too. Also Senjuro and Rui being classmates and besties makes my heart so happy- Rui is truly a little rascal and Senjuro being both a good friend and someone to support him AH!

Tengen and Sanemi lore!!! Muzan being a crappy teacher fits the bill to a tee- and Tengen first hating Sanemi's guts but slowly and begrudgingly growing to like him is so canon I can't ajrkeajrkjeakjraekjlr Him squeezing his big ol muscular self beside Sanemi like "What up party people?" is just- God I love it so much!

Inosuke's pet pig!!! Miss Inosuke-sama! He absolutely sneaks her to school even in his high school years; it's not uncommon to hear pig snorts and wiggles in his backpack- or hear a distant "MY LUNCH!" from Inosuke whenever she eats his sandwich. Tanjiro is so delighted even if he's equally panicked cause "how do you hide a pig at school???" It becomes such a common sight most grow accustomed to it that when Inosuke doesn't bring her everyone's anxiously wondering if something happened to her. Then they're immediately reassured when Inosuke tells them his mom found out and wouldn't let him bring her anymore.

Though as Anthony C. Yu mentioned in the notes this is a similar poem to one in chapter 20, so I already mentioned this.

Red Boy narrating to himself feels like such a child thing to do, I like it. Generally there seems to be a difference to his manner of speaking to most of the adults, which is very nice to see.

Love Sun Wukong calling out Zhu Bajie on his implicit bias against monster spirits given he actually knows some of them.

Also Tang Sanzang starting to learn to trust Sun Wukong’s expertise, it’s about time he does.

Twitter can be a very toxic place, indeed. I don't use it that much. I barely post. I only check the Sophie Turner hashtag to read the news. I mean the movies announcement for example first started on Twitter.

I don't really want to talk about the pregnancy rumors. It only started because of a picture she posted on Instagram. I find it extremely weird when people (fans) start commenting on people's body. Honestly, they should talk about the fact Stormi started dating a minor, then married him and had a child with him. That's such a weird thing.

Oh yes, he was very much a fan of Game of Thrones and while I understand being overjoyed your girlfriend is on the show, it was always weird. Like his birthday cake on which he was sitting on the Iron throne and Sophie was just there by his side. And he was very happy going to LV shows with her. (I remember his family suddendly wearing LV when they started dating). He was her plus one at the MET gala too. Nick kinda did the same with Priyanka. But he seems far more respectfull towards her. But I don't know much about them.

The Jonas brothers got back together because Nick wanted to. It's Sophie being closed to her brothers that inspired Joe to accept. I remember him saying it in an interview. And Sucker was so damn successful because Danielle, Priyanka and Sophie appeared in it. Even the brothers know it. Their fans obviously less so when they claim Joe made Sophie popular. They probably don't even care that the Jonas brothers have a hard time selling the tickets for their concerts. It just shows they're not as popular as they were when with Disney...

It was another typical morning day at school, obviously doing what the teacher's instructions, groupings, research and some stressful stuff that you're used to doing by now.

Typical stress. Honestly. It was already break time, and you were hungry, you immediately ask out your best friend in the classroom, Venti, to take him with you at the canteen, but boy he was busy.

"Hoy, tara canteen! Gutom na ako~" You said, gently grabbing his arms, the short man just chuckle, seeing you very eager to eat by now.

"You go by yourself, I still need to finish this." Venti calmly said, showing you his work that he should submit later at the arts club, but you just whine.

"Venti naman eh! Kain lang tayo! Please~" You beg for life, hoping that he would come, kayo kasi dalawa mostly ang partners in recess kaya hindi pwedeng hindi sasama ang isa.

"So stubborn huh? Fine I'll keep my pencils first."

"Yey!" You happily exclaim.

You drag the poor boy out of the classroom, Venti gritted his teeth, you could be so impatient sometimes, and he haven't fix his collar yet.

"Hinay hinay lang ano ka ba." Venti warned you, walking not so slowly as he tried to fix his collar.

"GUTOM NA AKO!" You shout, earning a look from other students in the hallways of the school. "Gago, wag ka sumigaw, there's a meeting room near the principal's office, we might disturb them." Venti warns you again, earning a side eye from him.

You quickly noticed that he's wearing a uniform different than yours, it looks like a college uniform, your eyes widen when you realize you bumped in to a college student here sa Teyvat High!

"S-sorry po kuya!" You quickly apologise, bowing for respect, only earning a chuckle from the man, your heart races at his sudden actions, shit you were only a second year senior high school student.

"It's fine, next time be careful as you walk." He said calmly, with that sexy voice of his!

"I'm sorry po ulit, hehe..." You flash a nervous smile, scratching your head, making the man in front of you earn a small grin, he indeed find this amusing.

The next thing you knew, you were completely stunned and can't move on your feet, you were standing still in the hallway with students just walking past you, just what has gotten into you? And the question is...

"Type mo si kuya noh? kingina mo lumalandi kana naman." Venti playfully nudge your shoulder.

"Wag ka ngang ano dyan... bolero ka talaga..." You said while playfully smacking his shoulder, hays gusto mo rin naman pala.

"Be careful nga kase, tara na nga sa canteen." He then proceed to drag you by your arm, you only look at him with that weak smile of yours, he look at you weirdly.

"Anyare sayo? Bat parang ayaw mo na pumunta sa canteen?" Venti ask you curiously, instead of answering him you gush! Earning another weird look from the dark blue haired, scratching his head.

"Umm, y/n? Okay ka lang?" The poor boy is concern at your state right now.

"Hindi..."

"Why naman?"

"I don't need to go to the canteen, kasi busog na busog na ako sa mga titig at kapogian ni kuyang naka silver haired!"
