it's not a secret that inasa and shoto can't stand each other

inasa hated shoto ever since they first met, thinking he's nothing but an arrogant and cold asshole

meanwhile shoto never cared about inasa, until he started to spend time with you and tried to drive you away from him, which was when he started to detest inasa

neither of them can understand why you'd be friends with the other and they'll try to talk badly about each other at any given opportunity

whenever they come across each other – when inasa picks you up after school or such – they're always glaring at each other

after a while, the two of them give up on using words to convince you to give up the other and instead start using actions

shoto starts making you expensive gifts to win you over; flowers, chocolates and anything that your heart desires

inasa might not be able to buy you something more expensive, but he'll buy you more than shoto does!

shoto gets you a bouquet of flowers? inasa gets you two!

they always attempt to one up each other and you'll soon be drowning in gifts, until you finally pick one of the two boys and end their fighting…

at first, Inasa doesn't understand why you feel such a need to do so.

one time when you two were out on a patrol together, you asked him to use it when you were on break since it was chilly that day.

"I told you to wear your winter costume…" Inasa mutters before opening up space under his arm and letting you under.

You'll happily find your place under his wing and give his cheek a kiss as you snuggle up to him.

so that's how it startled initially.

you just really liked how warm his cape was and the added comfort that it also smelled like him too.

even just using it as a shade when it's warmer/sunnier out does the job too.

Inasa has a lot of thoughts about it, but he surprisingly doesn't argue or complain about it…

+ mostly due to him thinking it's super cute and endearing and he can't bring himself to tell you no sjsjsj plus you don't stay longer than you need to & know when time's up.

it's different when you two are home though.

when he's getting ready for work and you're off that day, you'll cling onto him (just to he annoying) and that's when he'll be like, "what is with you, Y/N?!"

has probably wrestled you before (in a gentleman-ly way) to get it back because he needs it.

promises that you can use it when he's home, but he prefers that you use his other ones that are fresh, warm and up to your standards.

it's not like he doesnt get the allure of his super-amazing-durable cape. hell , he’s the one who insisted that it be part of his costume

AU where Bakugou goes to Shiketsu

(I'm actually going to make this a bit of an AU of FtE!)

In the end Katsuki considers himself lucky that he decided to apply to both UA and Shiketsu after getting rejected from UA. He only got one rescue point during the Shiketsu exam, but that was enough to satisfy the requirement.

He and Inasa do not get along in the slightest, and he resents it when he hears that Inasa not only had gotten into UA, but he'd gotten in via the recommended exam and then turned it down. Inasa kind of wishes Katsuki had ended up there.

He finds the rules at Shiketsu more restricting then he was expecting, and he can't really stand wearing the hat. He resents the times he's seen Deku and how much more relaxed(?) the UA uniforms look in comparison to the Shiketsu, and he bets Deku doesn't have to wear a stupid hat.

He bets Deku gets more freedom at UA

- he suffers from chronic cuteness aggression, he leaves lovebites, he hugs people to death, cannot contain himself, too silly 💔

-probably a given but he gives literally the best hugs ever, he's a human pillow, probably would lay sideways at the end of a bed and let the other person eep.

he snuggles, he acquires a target and practically tackles them, he yells "BEAR HUG!!!", and then squeezes the other person to death.

Team "Dabohaze no fun"

I headcanon that the remedial course-squad will end up being frien…-dish (guess who’s making it difficult to simply label them as “friends”?) with each other.

Half-way through the course, Todoroki explicitly refers to Bakugou as a friend; and almost right afterwards they both (plus Deku) basically spent 24/7 around each other as Endeavor's interns: Normally most people would become friends... Bakugou just happens to be a ducking drama-queen special kid.

I imagine that Todoroki accepted Utsushimi as a friend fairly quickly - her flirting just went right over his head. On her part, I don’t think that she was too romantically invested in him anyways. I headcanon that after Utsushimi noticed how this pretty boy was not only totally clueless regarding romance, but so many more important topics, she took it upon herself to become his pop-culture tutor.

Now, every once in a while, Todoroki uses slang that even Kaminari can’t decipher ("Slangy-roki" must be among Bakugou's most disliked iterations of Todoroki). He and Utsushimi also exchange cat gifs frequently.

Overall, it seems like Todoroki considers other people his friends fairly quickly, as long as they’re not nasty (as in, insanely nasty. Afterall, he called Bakugou his friend).

I feel like the only person Todoroki has ever seemed reluctant to befriend, is Inasa. Inasa’s type of too much, has been just a bit too much for Todoroki. Furthermore being compared to, and then judged as being just the same as his father, was something that left a bitter taste in Todoroki's mouth.

However, if Inasa can eases up on trying to force the friendship and Todoroki can experience him being dependable and capable ally on the battlefield, there should be potential for them to become friends.

I imagine that Utsushimi gained points with Bakugou when she did the Glamour-roki illusion – just to promptly lose them, AND more, when she did a "Moe-baku" illusion the next day.

Headcanon: Bakugou being mean to Todoroki, and Yoarashi comforting the latter.

Bakugou finds Inasa to be a ducking drama-queen. Todoroki deadpans, that Bakugou is in no position to say such things. Bakugou threatens to blow Todoroki up. Yoarashi gets in between to defend his new reluctant friend.

My point is, out of the four of them, Utsushimi is the only one who’s not a drama-queen but simply a queen.

I despised silence ever since I was little because my life was sunken in it. Since my first memory, I was with mom most of the time, but she was always busy looking at the computer and barely talked to me. The house was buried under piles of rubbish all the time but she cared less. That's why I wasn't afraid of roaches as they always crawled everywhere. I had no choice but to watch the kids going to kindergarten holding their parents' hands as mom didn't seem to remember my age. I used all the means to attract her attention: Told her what was going on outside the window, cleaned the house clumsily, and hugged her. I even drew on the wall thinking it was mischief enough to make her scold me, but she didn't pay any attention to me.

One day, I realized that the wind started swirling around me. I was exhilarated that I finally awakened my own quirk. I fiddled with it to get used to it and showed mom what I can do with my floating colorful papers around me.

She was upset because I made a mess in the room, but I was just over the moon that I finally got to make her look at me. So I did it again.

Again.

And again...

Until one day she grabbed me and started beating me up. I don't remember what my mom was yelling, but it was like a roaring thunder. I was scared out of my soul that all I could do was scream for help.

The fear devoured me and when her slap almost reached my head, I could feel a jolt zapping through my whole body and everything turned dark.

When I finally woke up, I was lying on a pile of rubble with mom unconscious at the side. We were both rushed to the hospital and when doctors asked me what was going on, I couldn't answer. Not because I didn't want to but because I honestly didn't know. The police also investigated our house but went back empty-handed. They just concluded that it was an accident, considering how old my home was. Even now I have no idea what happened back then.

After mom woke up, she dragged me somewhere. I thought she was taking me for a stroll but we ended up in an orphanage. She said to be a nice boy and stay here. I was so confused. I asked her when she'll be back and she said never, coldly.

"Mom, MOM!!" I still remember me screaming breathlessly.

"No, don't leave!! I'm sorry, I'm SO SORRY!! I won't be a naughty boy again using my quirk inside the house! I'll keep quiet and never annoy you again, just DON'T LEAVE ME!!"

No matter how much I screeched, it didn't reach her. She heartlessly slapped away my hand, saying: "You're in my way, freak."

I fell silent instantly. Despite I was only 5, I could feel that a thin feeble thread that tied us broke to the point of no return. I stopped struggling as I watched her walk away. I knew I would never see her again but also knew trying to cling onto her was pointless.

My life in the orphanage began but got used to it fairly quickly. Nursing teachers were almost like my mom, who only interacted when they needed to discipline us. They looked worn out and tired 24/7, as there were so few teachers compared to how many we were. I already learned to talk less to tired adults, so I toned down. Plus, I got more aware of what's around me- became sensitive- because I had to survive, and not get on the nerves of the teachers.

I think it was when I started attending the public kindergarten that my voice started to get louder and louder. Unlike the nursing teachers and mom, the teachers in kindergarten paid attention to me and interacted with me. I wanted more- like someone who found an oasis in the middle of the desert. So whenever I was outside the orphanage, I started to talk louder and react more vigorously. It sure worked, but everyone began to consider me a weirdo. I honestly didn't care one bit. I sugarcoated my sensitive nature with boldness, to show I'm alright, and don't have to bug someone for a care. To make sure I don't get into other's nerves. I "pretended" as if I fear nothing. I passionately enrolled in everything I can possibly I can put my hands on, found something that I could like about things, and tried my best to befriend everyone around me as I needed something to interact with. It allowed me to cope and step above the grim reality and gave me the boost I need. The zealousness settled down as my motto.

And naturally, the hero attracted my attention. The way they passionately protected others and overcome any hurdle in front of them captivated me, and gave me hope that I could be somebody in society to help... Someone who can save others who are in my seat, as I don't want anyone else to go through the same pain I had to endure.

Among countless heroes, Endeavor was the one who caught my eye the most. Not only his fancy fire quirk but his name too.

It gave me a hint of how much he had to endure to reach where he is now, enlightening me with the hope that if I endure what's in front of me now, I can one day be just like him. To be the No. 2 hero with endless endurance and effort only meant that he is that much passionate as a hero.

So I was so excited when I got a chance to see him up close. It was seriously an honor. When he arrested a villain and things settled down, I rushed towards him and asked him for an autograph. It'll be the most valued treasure.

But...

He slapped my hands away, saying something that I didn't ever want to hear:

"You're in my way."

His ice-cold glance into the distance that contrasting his fire, refusing to look back on me, froze my heart. It triggered my trauma to bash in full force, and I flopped down on the floor and couldn't move. I tried my best to keep myself together but could feel like my sanity was scattering. The fantasy I had with Endeavor dusted away. As I walked back to the orphanage, I could feel hatred against Endeavor sprouting within me. It was supposed to be hatred against the woman who discarded me, but I projected it on him. The hero who didn't care about the heart of those he save- I couldn't stand it.

I just bottled it up and focused on my training, as I couldn't let one man alter what I believe in the values of helping others.

I thought I was on the track until it was Provisional Hero License Exam. All the work I put in to be different from Endeavor came back like boomerang and stabbed my back, as I was exactly the failure hero I wanted to avoid so badly. The hero full of hatred and selfishness. Hating Todoroki Shoto just because he had the eyes of his dad was prejudice however you look at it. I felt so sorry to Shoto and was humiliated out of my soul that I just wanted to dig myself into a hole. After telling myself how much I hate the fire hero, I ended up becoming him. It crushed me. Honestly lost the direction of the "hero" I was pursuing as a whole, like a boat left all alone on the middle of the ocean without any wind to blow on the sail.

The time passed and it was the day for a remedial course to get the Provisional Hero License that I failed to get in the first trial. In all honesty, I didn't want to go because I was still lost in the way of hero, but ended up attending as the choices to seek the way will get even narrower without the license.

And there he was, another reason why I didn't want to attend. I knew he'd be there since his son Shoto was there, but wished he wouldn't show up. But as usual, the world sneered at my wish, and there he was.

Although... Something seemed different about him from the last time.

And when he was talking to his son after the exam, I had to punch myself to see if I'm seeing things, as his cold glance melted away. It was like a completely different Endeavor I'm seeing. Not sure what happened but it was good all in all. I was repeatedly suffering from bipolar emotions of love and hate towards Endeavor, as he was the first hero I got fond of but then I thought I chose the wrong idol to worship. But his warm gaze nipped a little of my hatred, and I was finally able to ask for a handshake... Though his eyes were fixed on the blood than me.

Despite I thought I made up with him, I was still feeling uncertain about how to feel about him. Sure he changed, but not sure if it was genuine.

I didn't know what to think of the fire hero...

Until the "incident" happened.

Everyone was taken aback at the appearance of the strongest Nomu yet. Teachers were telling us to go back to the dorm as there was nothing to see, but I couldn't move one bit. Endeavor, the hero that gifted the little ember of hero, was blood-coated in front of my eyes. I honestly thought I lost all interest in the fire hero, but I couldn't help but yell in my head with every drop of my blood and soul: "Get up!! Get up!!"

Did my voice reached him? I know my voice is known to be loud, but never thought even the silent voice can reach someone.

Endeavor burned all my doubts into ashes...

Along with the hooded Nomu.

His fight was nothing short of breathtaking. No matter how many people doubted him and longed for the former symbol that wasn't even there, he pushed beyond his limit and saved the day.

He was the "hero"... The HERO that I always wanted to see and be. Tackling your fear and scorching white with passion to guard others.

Whenever I get excited, my voice usually gets louder, but that day was not the same. I was so moved and the adrenalin rush overwhelmed me that I fell silent. I held my breath when he dealt the final Prominence Burn. Not only it ignited the Nomu but my heart as well. My fear of him melted away and left only admiration. I thought I forgot how to cry, but apparently not. I was so grateful and honored that I witnessed the fight.

The flame he torched me with almost wavered against the appearance of Dabi. When he confessed about his domestic violence, it put me straight next to my mom and hoped Endeavor would come to say that's a lie. But I was wrong.

What he did in front of the press turned my wavering admiration into something unchangeable.

He admitted what he did. He didn't run away or look away from the deeds of the past. And as he declared, he kept doing his job to save despite how many people thew stones at him. He was not just a hero but an "adult" who is mature enough to face his past. It gave a chill through my whole spine.

For all my life, I didn't see anyone who did that. He was the first.

My mom never came back to admit she did wrong.

There are countless people out there in the world who say big words and no actions.

But he did. He faced his past and admitted his past actions, with willing eyes to make it better.

Without knowing, I had a believe that people never change. It hindered me time and again when I work my way as a hero because I didn't have the prettiest past. But Endeavor proved it. He became a living testament that people CAN change, and the important thing is to learn from the mistake rather than not making it at all.

The gladness swept through me. I chose the "right" fire to follow in the darkness like a lighthouse.

Aizawa Shouta doesn't ever show romantic (or sexual) interest in anyone and is actively put off by Ms Joke hitting on him and the idea of getting married to her

All Might has NO experience with women according to Horikoshi (could also mean he has experience with men but y'know)

Ashido Mina really wants to be in a relationship but never fell in love (cupioromantic moment)

Both Bakugou Katsuki and Todoroki Shouto hide from girls crushing on them near the end, don't ever show romantic interest in anyone or get anxious or flustered near girls, Katsuki especially apparently never cared about girls (and vice versa) before and and Shouto specifically doesn't notice when he's hit on.

Iida Tenya is never interested in girls or men and is significantly more focused on both his studies and his friendships

My favorite headcanon: Uraraka Ochako's love for Izuku seems founded more on her admiration and people telling her she must like him (because boy and girl etc) than in actual romantic love, and she connects a lot with Toga (who also loves people in a non-conventional way)

Midnight doesn't have a romantic partner or anyone she regularly flirts with despite being a very beautiful and desired woman, and doesn't seem to have had any kind of romantic relationship with the three boys more or less her age she hung out with a lot (the rooftop trio) (she can also be seen as a cliché of aroallo person who only cares about sex so I'm claiming her).

Pixie Bob's obsession with finding a partner is giving "I've been told all my life that I HAVE to get married and I don't want to so I keep looking for the perfect match and not finding it because the man I'm looking for doesn't exist because I won't ever fall in love". Because by god you can't tell me the cute blonde catgirl isn't finding a boyfriend.

All For One only cares about his brother, I'd even argue he's aromantic asexual aplatonic etc. a-everything except familial and idk. quirkic. attracted to quirks.

Mount Lady is aro for the same reason as Midnight but because I think it's implied or canon that she's dating Kamui Woods, she's lower.

Midoriya Izuku is green so he's obviously aromantic and most of his flustered reactions to girls seem based more on shyness (and an obvious reaction to getting boobs shoved in his face) and sexual or aesthetic attraction than romantic attraction (he also has a very romcom view of what being boyfriend girlfriend is, ie. his reaction to Toga's confession)

Aoyama Yuuga's definition of love (according to his comment on Ochako being in love with Izuku because she was thinking "what would Deku-kun do?") is very weird and seems based more in things he was told or saw in fiction than feelings he would have felt himself.

Yoarashi Inasa is just so fucking weird with friendships and social cues he looks like he's trying to navigate the world while making absolutely sure NO ONE misinterprets him, which makes him both very aro and very autistic in my book

Kurogiri is literally a bunch of mist with little free will whose purpose in life is protecting this one boy, he's all the As.

Endeavor married for insane reasons and never even cheated on Rei after he sent her to the hospital (which a lot of men his caliber would do)

Ms Joke makes the idea of dating Shouta a joke and I think that's great. She's also green.

Miruko's chill and doesn't give a fuck, she's a fighting person, very Katsuki-coded in that regard I fear. She also works alone without an agency, which is giving aromantic for no reason other than I Said So.

Toga Himiko is a queer allegory that is generally interpreted as bisexual and biromantic but I think she can be interpreted as aroallo as well (way to love that’s seen as impure and unholy etc etc, notions of consent – taking people’s blood and hurting them without their consent which is for her a way to show her love, most of her attraction seeming physical or aesthetic rather than romantic, her parents telling her to repress repress repress instead of satisfying her desires in a safe way, the scene where she’s biting her wrist in her sleep???? etc etc) 

Twice never had a lot of friends and never had a lot of female friends and when he feels gratefulness and care for Toga it outwardly seems romantic because he doesn’t know what’s romantic and what’s not and hasn’t had a lot of female friends 

Dabi is giving aromantic aplatonic who only really loves his family but due to circumstances can’t love them healthily and ends up just hating them (the most intense feelings of love he shows are always towards Enji or Natsuo, and his apology to Shouto makes me think Shouto is also included in this – no evidence for Fuyumi and Rei but I can do what I want. He clearly cares for Twice and Toga too but it presents very differently, even after he’s revealed himself and doesn’t need to be as secretive). 

Shigaraki Tomura probably just doesn’t give a shit I’d say. He’s pretty apathetic when he isn’t fighting or angry or like doing his hatred thing, but he clearly cares about his teammates. 

Fatgum is foodpilled and studentpilled. He really loves food and he really loves his students he doesn't need no romantic relationship.

Jirou Kyoka takes a bit to warm up to Denki so I think she's demiromantic actually

Bruce (the third user of One For All). He just has such third wheel vibes.

Intelli Saiko because why would she bother with romance, it's so unpractical and illogical

Despite asking for boys' numbers all the time and being very aware of romance, Utsushimi Camie looks like she could NOT CARE LESS. aro

The fact that Hawks plays up the flirting with his fans is giving aromantic to me – obviously heartbreaker aroallo stereotype but I think he could also be ace, the aroallo part isn’t that important, it’s just that he’s always pretending. It’s giving still in the closet. Also I know he’s young and busy and Horikoshi doesn’t really put that much casual romance in MHA but it’s so funny that there isn’t even a sliver of a girlfriend implied in his timeskip. Hawks is Married To His Job. 

Star and Stripe is also absolutely married to her job. Also, lots of guys around her, lots of important and admired male figures in her life, and yet not a single crush from her. Points. Aromantic lesbian 

Nezu is a fuckass mouse I highly doubt he's attracted to humans in any way

Gran Torino is a single old man which is enough for me (though because I hate that fucker I think it'd be funny if women just hated him)

Where Is Shimura Nana’s Husband. 

Muscular only likes to kill, he doesn’t need romance nor sex, his only desire is Killing People and fighting. Same thing for Moonfish, he only wants to eat people (mood my guy) 

Geten is very hyper focused on making his quirk stronger, he doesn’t seem to really have any relationships.

Overhaul just fucking hates people

Again, Kendo Rappa only cares about fighting.

So so sad because I like his girlfriend but Natsuo is giving marrying to get away from his father

On the Shiketsu costume thing: they are probably super strict about what costumes you can and cant request. They need to use the school's colors, you need to use the hat, and they can refuse your request at any time.

Look at Camie. No way in hell her first choice was a skin tight catsuit. Not sure what she would want (probably something more colorful and flashy, that's my headcanon), but since they have a strict dress code, it was the best she could do.

This is in direct contrast with UA's more lax restrictions on costume design, and both have their pros and cons.

Yoarashi's costume is way more colorful, and deviates pretty far from the color scheme of the Shiketsu uniform. Actually, looking across the four costumes, all of them deviate from the dark blue with orange highlight of Shiketsu. Shishikura's is the closest with a black and red color scheme but you can see the difference with the hat

Also, Camie introduces herself to Todoroki and Bakugou by flirting with them and asking for their numbers. She'd absolutely ask for the catsuit
