Might have something to do with the condescending attitude of people implying that enjoying it is WrongBadFun, which is a surefire way to bias people against your favorite indie game.

Particularly the ones that don't actually match the interests of the players being condescended to, or which are pitched with things like "it's rules light, none of all that crunch in the way" when a lot of people who play it like crunchy rule stuff.

Y'all aren't pitching your games when you behave like this, you're making fun of something the D&D players enjoy, and that's going to make them a hostile audience. You're not going to win anyone over by insulting them and implying they play something Bad and Nasty - particularly when it's likely something they love more for the hacks and homebrews they've done to patch it up, making it a customized version of the core game.

The ones who are making converts are the ones going "okay, so what do you like about it?" and then helping them find games that match those likes. The ones offering lists of games and explaining where they align and where they differ. The people who, in other words, respect that the people they're pitching to are already enjoying themselves and that they need to show them ways to have that enjoyment elsewhere.

launching Swan Comics for PCRF

I am raising funds for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, a reputable charity providing on-the-ground healthcare to sick and injured children in Palestine.

I have polled the finest minds of tumblr and you all said you wanted swan comics as your reward. So this is what you’re getting. Swan comics. Offered at the very limit of my drawing ability, your help can assist the most vulnerable children in Gaza and incidentally unlock some real nonsense in MSPaint. I’ve also created some material items for people who wanted those, and you can donate a certain amount to get them in the mail.

I know everyone’s broke and burned out right now, so it’s my intention to move into a progressive, sustainable, rewarding frame of mind with this. I know that feels like a strange thing to say but I’m hoping that the process (fundraising) the outcomes (charity) and the outputs (swan comics) will ALL be good to engage with. One thing I want to stress is that if you aren’t able to contribute financially, you can still be a big help with this - even if it’s just with a reblog or a kind word, or even offering support and thanks for people who donate. (Seriously! I don’t want people’s hard work and donations to feel like they’re falling into an endless black hole, so if you feel like you want to help me out in a non-financial way, I will literally recruit you to help write thank-you messages. Is it possible to love a character more than you already do? SOBBING because so many intricate details important for Sukuna's characterization gets lost in translation and lightning is an amazing person for bringing this to our attention (go follow them on their platforms ;_; They deserve it so much)

Sukuna's use of words are honestly so poetic and romantic, there is a certain grace and elegance with the way he presents himself, no doubt like a king. It may seem like he's a hot-headed maniac, but he's clever, cunning and intelligent. He knows when to let loose and when to reign himself in.

"You cleared my skies" I would literally melt at the spot, :') aaahhh I'm glad both of them ended up acknowledging one another, this really hits you right in the feels.
