right off the bat this is someone whose been eyeing you for a while. they could be the type that stare in awe at the pictures you post on social media “so pretty” or when they met you that have that immediate attraction.. “who is that?” lol them asking their friends when you walk in. this honestly feels like a fairytale because theyve been wanting you for a while but theyve been super patient i heard “no hard feelings” theyre actually so sweet (im getting water sign suns: cancer, pisces, scorpio energy oop 🙈).

like they have no problem admiring you from afar at alllll. they are mesmerized by you. and honestly they could have been a little toxic before meeting you (not abusive, but someone unable to share their emotions in a healthy way). it seems like they dont want u to see them in the shades and shadows of their trauma, wounds, healing. for them you are the light at the end of that tunnel. i heard “my day was pretty shitty until you showed up” they are willing to work hard for you. they are also very attractive & in an unconventional way (unique hair, being really tall, tattoos, something like that makes them stand out especially in their friend group).

At first, though it seems like you’re suspicious of this energy. You could find that they are way too good with their words. “too good to be true” “I bet you say that to all the girls/guys” energy. but honestly, it seems like you’re the only one that can keep up with them. This love feels like a dark romance. This pile is not as lighthearted as the previous two at all. It feels like a fairytale in that "magical" sense though because it will feel like love at first sight. You both will feel immediately physically attracted to the other but what makes it even more intense is that at first no one seems to be able to make the first move. It might seem too good to be true to the point where you don't even wanna disturb the "illusion." You dont wanna burst the bubble. Also, the magnetic attraction you feel/ that slow burn makes it even more desirable for both of you. In synastry, you both might have a lot of conjunctions (especially with pluto, moon, and mars). I also pulled north node synastry as well (and this synastry makes it feel like you're meant to be aka its destiny. but its also uncomfortable). "I have never felt like this before" energy.

Honestly, I see this pile as being able to go both ways and it can easily make you feel heartbroken. You might have venus-pluto placements yourself or 8th house placements or they do. When you are together though, you both hate when other people interrupt. You love your alone time. It feels really good. This pile is all about intense eye contact, glancing down at each others lips, meeting in secret, getting jealous when other people try to talk to the other, hands brushing as you walk but never fully touching. But then devouring each other when alone (if you both end up trusting each other when to get there because, again, one of you or both are hesitating). Tango wouldnt say he was oblivious, sure he sometimes missed some important gossip and some PR announcements but to be fair his work is the car. He couldn't care less for some random gossip or stuff from the PR people, his work is making the car better and he is a simple mechanic, no one to be in front of cameras.

Thats why when conversations about a driver move to Williams came up on the racing community, he payed no mind to them. Tango knew some name was circulating around, but again he really didnt care about it, gossip was common and nothing he is interesting in, can some people call him ignorant? That he didnt even noticed news outlets posting about it or watched his team principal's interviews? Yes, some people can call him that, however he still thinks he isnt oblivious, obviously he will know when a driver moves to his team, he isnt dumb.

Even his good friend Impulse, asks him what his opinion about Solidarity's move to Williams, which takes him by surprise bc if he's not mistaken no one at the team knows who will be the new driver and wasnt Solidarity a Redbull driver? That's what he says to Impulse and that honestly even if he knew, his friend is still on a different team. (Impulse looks at him like he doesnt believe it)

Later, much for Impulse amusement, Tango only discovers that Solidarity would race for Williams after a PR colleague says it straight on his face, apparently it was neither speculation nor a secret on the factory.

And the fact he somehow missed multiple times the presence of the driver in the factory, thats stays only between him and his colleague.

Tango wouldnt say he was that oblivious, of course he now knew Jimmy Solidarity was going to race for William's this season, but it still takes him by surprise when the driver approaches him with two cups of coffee.

"Here, you look like you need some" he says extending one cup to him

The mechanic feels a little taken away by the gesture, and doesnt know what to say. He never thought a driver would do this, he must be mistaken and that's not for him. So he just stares in shock to the said driver.

After some time of silence Solidarity slightly gestures to his extended hand and Tango finally gets the memo that yes, it's for him.

Tango takes the cup and takes a sip, unsurprisingly the coffee isnt exactly like he likes but even so it astonish him that it's close enough. "Thanks", he says softly with a small smile to Solidarity, the driver just smiles in return and leaves, probably to analyse some data.

Even as time continues Tango continues stunned with the small random interaction, till Hunter, one of his colleagues who was watching the exchange, tells him that it was very known that Solidarity was really friendly to every team member and since joining the team he had been randomly interacting with everyone.

Tango then concludes that maybe he is a bit oblivious because there's no way he never noticed the driver interacting with is colleagues.

But surely this was gonna be a one time thing, he was a simple mechanic and there was no way the driver truly cared of him.

Little did he know that Jimmy asked around how the pretty blonde mechanic that worked the whole morning liked his coffee.

As anybody who follows me and actually listens to what I post knows, yes, I was disappointed with the choice that the 5 members in modhaus made.

The reason is of course Jaden Jeong's involvement in the conditioned that caused the members' suffering. I honestly do not care to "respect" the members' choice when, firstly, they're public figures, which means they're in a position where they open themselves to judgement, having surpassed what it means to be a regular person into an overman; hence, idol (no this isn't lore) (yes it is) and it is parasocial to think we as fans owe them the kind of blind devout respect that is reserved for people you know and are close to. We, of course, need to respect them as people even if they are idols which leads to my next point. Secondly, they're adult women who are capable of making their own choices. It is only patronizing, infantilising and self delusionary to cheer them on for every choice they make void of criticism. If I respect them as a person, that means I care about the decisions they make enough to be able to disagree with them. The only decisions you respect unconditionally are from your God (if you have faith) or someone who has got you fucked up.

So to continue, I don't respect their decision to join modhaus. However I do accept their decision and think of them no less as people - that's very important to me for people to be aware of! That may have sounded harsh but I only have strong feelings because I care.

When it comes to modhaus vs ctd, to ME it feels like a faction of people who are willing to ignore a history of mistreatment to blindly follow their idols because that's what idolatry is versus a faction who are distrusting and reluctant to give a second chance to a man (and his company) who have done them wrong. And of course bias vs bias.

Regarding why I don't hold ctd to the same standard as modhaus; one is an established company with another group under their belt and the other is a company that formed because Hyunjin asked really niceys. The "mistakes" that modhaus are making, like having Jaden and doing NFTs and having loss of the members' autonomy to give fans control as a business model (to be frank, I don't care about missing english subtitles or those small things, its whatever) are much more severe to me than CTD fumbling the bag in ways that only affect them financially. Sorry I don't care about them picking venues that are too big for them on a concert, I don't think it's that big a deal.

In this way, I think cloo vs ourii, ctd vs modhaus, is much more than the preference people have for the idols actually in the companies but rather an ideological thing. Can you put the past (that isn't yours to begin with) behind you to stan a group with no guarantee of being completely safe and in control, or are you going to be wary of a company that has done little to demonstrate how it's protecting the girls' best interests. At least that's how it looks to me.

And it's weird how we dont see Chuu & Yves akgaes right? And I think that's because the companies are such unknown elements that it's nowhere near as polarising to support them, like there's no reason not to.

And I do think there is a lot of us vs them going on. (some) People who are artms member stans who have become full-blooded ouriis have made it their mission to find any excuse to bring CTD down - maybe out of a guilty conscience vengeance for the criticism that modhaus has been getting. And the same can definitely be said about cloos who just want more reasons to shit on modhaus even though the problems are inconsequential (see? I'm not wholly biased)

In summary I just think it's sad that it's had to have been this divisive. If the loona members weren't in the position that they were - that no company was willing to accept them bar modhaus, and the members who got out first didn't feel obligated to go to modhaus, since CTD - and other places - weren't an option, things maybe would've turned out differently. Or maybe they wouldn't have, and there will always be fanwars regardless.

Be more self reliant

You dont have to do everything on your own but you need to be able to count on yourself because for the most part that's all you'll have even as you're around others.

Have more intent with actions

Time & energy is valuable. Where you pour these things into steer the course of your life. Give your time & energy to things that help you (and other likeminded women if you want). You dont have to analyse every action you take but occasionally check in with how/if the actions you're taking are helping to build a foundation for your life as a single childfree woman. Things like donating to female centric causes, improving yourself so you can give yourself (& other women) more, organising/engaging in female centric women only spaces - even if they're just online, goes a long way to set the scene. Even indulging in your hobbies. Dont waste your time on things that wont help you or your motives.

Be more resourceful

Contrary to popular belief this lifestyle isn't a walk in the park, there's a lot more you have to account for especially with a level of reduced support. Being able to adapt/improvise + think ahead to mitigate problems will serve you long term. Also generally building up your resources will make getting through hard times easier.

Living my truth > proving my truth

You dont need others stamp of approval to live this way - just get started ! Convincing others is a waste of time your actions (& results) will speak for you anyways.

Reduce giving benefit of doubt

I once saw a quote "giving others benefit of doubt has never benefitted me" and it rings so true. Giving people benefit of doubt rarely ever works in your favour, the red flags that are downplayed often come back to bite you when you least expect it so trust your instincts on matters. If something is off about something or someone; start backing up. Also pure naïvety is rare, people often know more than they let on so trust + act on your instincts on matters if something feels off.

Be proactive

Instead of just constantly reacting to everything around you; take action no matter how small, it'll pay off more than just outrage. Spend less time on social media reacting to the never ending evil of xys and spend more time building for yourself. Social media can be informative but it can also be an echo chamber that breeds reactionary politics which doesn't move things forward. Ik this is ironic because you're reading this on social media but I'm not saying get rid of it all, just reduce your time on it - particularly around reading & reacting to maIe evil. Focus on tangible things in your life you can control & build instead for yourself and womankind.

Invest in indifference

Taking everything to heart will hurt you. Constant anger/hatred to maIes & their bs is still centering them especially if all you do is react. I'm not saying completely ignore it as they target us & a level of awareness is important, but dont let these feelings consume you. Being indifferent will let you look at things at a face value & make more levelled judgement. It helped my mental health a lot in regards to the climate to grow indifferent, this includes towards maIe identified women and even other types of discrimination like racists, ableists, etc. All theory around maIe violence essentially boils down to them being dangerous parasitic terrorists to not be trusted. I move with this & go. I see through them, I dont argue or waste unnecessary emotional energy on them, I dont care for them to understand me, I dont care to prove them wrong (bc in the end it wont matter all you do is give them more cards to play with; this system isnt erected through logic but violence), I have other stuff in my life to focus on. I cant help the way the world is I can only focus on myself & my actions. Typically the best comebacks arise when you dont give a shit. It wont happen in a day but learn to manage your feelings. Be indifferent to what you cant control, flower what you can control. These comments from the female separatist subreddit explain this well.

Learn to prioritise

Contrary to popular belief we can't have it all. Some are able to do so because they've got wives or staff covering sectors of their lives so they can pour more time into other aspects of their lives like business or leisure. But you wont have that privilege rn so some things will have to take a hit. This is also why you need to be selfish with your time. Things like being resourceful to automate/delegate tasks will buy you time but it's still important to be selfish with your time because as you put time in one area, another area loses time. You need to pick what matters. You cannot give your time away to everyone; make time for yourself & your objectives.

Less theory more action

Having a basis of theory/belief is a good place to start but dont get stuck there.

It's okay to be wrong

Mistakes will be made. Experience is how we learn and grow. Go about your business unabashedly.

♡ when it's your turn, you can feel azul looking at you even when you can't turn around and check it. you know that he's just as nervous as you. you can hear jade and floyd teasing him about how he looks even more anxious than you and you try really hard not to laugh. you take a deep breath and let the dark mirror make its decision. when it finally announces that you are now an octavinelle student, you immediately turn to azul and show him your brightest smile. it takes some time for azul to process what just happened, but when he realizes that now his beloved and precious girlfriend will be in the same dorm as him, he can't help but smile too.

I wanted to throw in my opinion on the Trans MC if you want it! Option 3 would be a lot of extra writing and coding, so I get that it wouldn't be a decision made lightly and it would be added pressure to get it right and it's a sensitive topic for sure. I will say that if you chose to go this route tho, it would make a huge difference and mean a lot to us. I'm a trans athlete, and the lack of representation can be really discouraging. It's time like these where we are receiving so much hate, especially when it comes to sports, that allies could really step up and make a difference. Reading can really open people's minds! It may be difficult and uncomfortable, and take extra work, but that's our everyday tbh. First off, I really feel your statement to the bone, the part about how allies could step up and make a difference, and how positive rep in media, games etc. is insanely important.

So many stories, TV shows, movies have shaped my experience of being queer and POC, and while some of them have been nice just so I could see someone like myself being represented, the ones that really made an impact are of course the ones where these identities were explored in a sensitive, thoughtful way. (When I watched Saving Face for the first time at 17, about a queer Chinese American doctor, I bawled my eyes out and dont think I've been the same since).

I would absolutely love if CT:OS/my IFs could do this for trans athletes too.

I've seen/heard so many worrying statements about trans athletes (both in real life and in the media)—and it makes me so sad.

Some that really get me really riled up are: The idea that a trans athlete's accomplishments mean nothing because they "have an unfair advantage" (or putting it down to "just hormones" or whatever instead of recognizing the hardwork, skill, and dedication behind EVERY successul athlete, trans or not). Or the idea that trans athletes shouldn't get to choose to be trans if they want to be athletes. Or the idea of policing trans athletes' bodies or forcing them to undergo surgery in order for them to be "valid"...

Well, FUCK THAT. FUCK those people.

If my IF can help celebrate trans athletes, and combat/shut down the really harmful (and ignorant) rhetoric out there? I'd love to do that.

But since I am not trans myself, it feels doubly, triply important that I wade really carefully here. I'd really need to spend time making sure I like and can stand behind what I'm putting out. I don't think it'd be responsible representation, otherwise!

I'm not really a perfectionist about my writing and that's how I make progress on my IFs while working a full time job. I'm more the... "slap shit tgt, get it out there, get feedback and edit if I feel like it" kind of writer. And I don't think I'd be able to finish CT:OS / Merry Crisis any other way. But when it comes to race, gender, and sexual identity? I really. Really. Wanna get things right.

(I rewrote that Rayyan convo about being a POC athlete with Deepal so many times haha and it was already marginally less scary, since I am a POC athlete.)

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I agree it's so goddamn important to have trans stories, and rep, especially in sports, where views are often so toxic and polarized.

But I don't think I know yet whether I see my IF being more a simple "yay, trans rep" kind of space or an actual deeper exploration of what it means to be a trans athlete. I was quite prepared to add the option to be trans (+ any accompanying scenes etc.) when I have the complete CT:OS 1st draft, but I was also toying with the idea of just putting something imperfect into the game earlier.

Faced with indecision, I've opted for: procrastination. I am still waffling, but it was helpful to hear what you guys think. Thank you so much for your message.

okay, now thats out of the way, lemme explain this next point: how did the conflict even begin? (i feel the need to explain this bc the media never does and the history is so so important)

the history

zionist movements began in maybe mid 19th century, jews worldwide were being persecuted and they wanted a land to themselves. they had their eyes set on palestine, even tho the palestinian bedouins there have been living in palestine for at least 1500 years

wwii left millions of jews stranded, so in 1947, the united nations suggested dividing palestine into a jewish and arab state. the jews accepted, but the arabs rejected it. this rejection was ultimately ignored, and israel declared itself a state in 1947, leading to palestinian arabs being displaced and a war starting between israel and arab nations. this was known as nakba—literally the arabic word for disaster, it mainly refers to palestinians being displaced after israel declared independence

the six-day war of 1967 was a conflict ultimately won by israel—they took control of the west bank, the gaza strip, and east jerusalem. conflicts got worse from here, and violence against civilians grew. its been snowballing since then

is it between jews and muslims?

no. its between jews and arabs. palestinian christians are some of the oldest communities of christianity worldwide, some being able to trace their history back to the birth of the church. its between the jews that claim the land to be theirs, and the arabs who have actually been on the land for longer than the 75 years since israel was formed (nearly 14 centuries longer, to be exact)

why i care so much

its not just because im arab, or just because im a muslim. of course, it is partially that—seeing my brothers and sisters get killed hurts me, esp knowing that theres not much i can do except pray to god that this ends.

yes, israeli citizens die every year bc of the conflict. im not saying that number is nothing. but the palestinian civilian fatalities are so much worse.

the total deaths from 2008 to 2020 for palestine is over 20 times more than israeli deaths. (note that this graph is not up to date and does not include the hundreds of palestinians who have died since 2020. no, im not exaggerating. hundreds. i wish i was.)

some of my best friends are palestinian. the idea that they know people, or their parents know people, who have died at the hands of israelis, is absolutely not acceptable.

like my friends, millions of palestinians are now scattered across the globe, or in danger in their own country where zionists are trying to take their land.

this conflict is disgusting and wrong. jews have less of a right to that land than arabs. yes, jews have been living w arabs in that land for centuries, but its always been predominantly arabs. always has been, always should be.

First of all I love your Yugi, is so freaking adorable, big fan over here aaaaaa.

And okay we're gonna talk about comics. Oh boy. It's not a topic I dont like talking but it's something I get way too.... intense, even if I feel I don't have much to defend with. Anyway I'll try to not be so detailed and serious about it so I can bring a decent commentary!

Disclaimer that I have a lot of issues with the use of thought bubbles, but that's a me thing. Myself I try to avoid them so I can focus on a "show more, talk less" type of flow. So if I start talking about them it's because of that, not that you'r doing a bad thing or anything.

I like how you use the panels, by themselves and ignoring the dialogues, they work perfectly fine! I think my thing with the pacing is that I'd draw a 3-4 pages comics instead of 2 for this scene alone. It's a pain I know, but I think for this type of scenario adding a little more of time could help to appreciate some details, like Kaiba being notoriously angry, the moment he touches Yugi's forehead, etc. But this is also a very personal opinion because I'm a sucker for very sloooow interactions, so all this I'm saying is for the sake of a slower pacing. Sadly you gotta draw more or write less if you want to get that effect, also you can get in a situation where things end up vague and ugh, what a pain hjdfhjhds.

I have a serious problem with dialogue bubbles, I never know where to put them Dx. I always feel they're on the way or that they hinder the reading or that they look straight up ugly hahahaha. I think you use a good space for them! they're not in the way of the faces or important scenes, but I can see you needed to add arrows for the conversation to work. In my opinion the dialogue works perfectly without the arrows. We all know there are two people talking so having only the faces on the bubbles was enough to understand who was talking and what order follow.

Now, if you want to work on bubbles without using the faces to show who's talking and don't lose the order in the way, I could recommend something like this:

Sorry if it looks way too clumsy! But a thing we artist have to deal is how the order of the bubbles affects on the flow of the dialogue. Specially when we don't have a specific way to show how the person talks (for example japaneses have many ways to show character's expression so it's easier for them to identify it.) So we need to focus on the flow.

A wonderful person who talks TONS of this matter is the motherfucker Scott McCoud!

This is just an example of how dialogues can contribute to the time and spaces and how the order affects the reading. This is not the exact example for what I mean but Scott is a badass of the comic and the complexity of it.

Understanding Comics The invisible Art is a masterpiece, I blame him for making me doubt is I'm doing a good job or not.

Okay before I go way too into this, one last thing and this is personal opinion. I love white background but you gotta be very careful to not make it look like lazyness. You don't need to draw a full background but maybe adding some shading can help to make the illusion of space rather than having a blank space. Of course this is just my opinion.

Anyway, I really like how you work! my huge recommendation would be to simply take your time on it, I feel it shows a bit of impatience or nerviousness, but that's just my idea. So far you're going a good way on creating comics and I'd love to see more of them :3

oh my. this one got long so im going to spare peoples dashes by putting this under a cut haha

anyways my answer is: making him out to be a little crybaby who is driven purely by revenge and sadness to make the world pay for shadow killing his squad mates, whom he loved in a normal way and saw them as family or whatever. it makes his character so goddamn flat and boring bc thats such a standard villain motivation, and it entirely strips away a lot of his personality even when theres already so little to work with LMAO

i know ive spoken about it at length in the dog&hog server but to me, infinites most notable trait is that hes selfish

in the prequel comic rise of infinite (yay, prequel comic talk. everyones favourite, i know) he deliberately ignores any protests from his gang against accepting eggmans deal of working with him, because eggy singles him out and offers him a place at his side to bring his fantasy of ruin into reality. not infinite and his crew, just infinite

(image has two comic panels. in the first one, eggman is reaching a hand out to infinite as he says "now you are an interesting guy. i like you. how about i hire you to lead my forces? together we'll take over the world!" in the second panel, one of the jackal squad members says "boss! dont be tempted by him. we'll be fine!")

and infinite says yes after briefly talking about how he personally feels bored and tired of how the world is right now

again, its a decision based off an entirely personal and individualistic opinion that only takes his own feelings into account. you would think that if he valued his squad to the extent that they were "like family" to him, he would have listened when they said he shouldnt make a deal with eggman. if he actually cared about them as much as he cared about himself, he would have trusted them enough to say no. instead he only thinks about what he wants and what he can get, not about what will happen to the others

ive always been of the opinion that infinite used his squad and position of authority as their leader to prop himself up and viewed them more like underlings or subjects that he could order around and be superior to, rather than equals whose opinions and input he valued. maybe he started out having more camaraderie with the other jackals, but it certainly doesnt show by the time we get to the events of the prequel comic, and even less so when we get to episode shadow/the main game

the idea that he saw his squad more like tools to make himself look better than people also makes more sense because when in episode shadow, eggman calls infinites squad "useless" directly to him and all infinite says is "yeah, yeah" in a very uncaring fashion. even when he then spots shadow and says "you.. you destroyed my squad!" its entirely unconvincing to me that he said it out of sorrow or sadness; to me it was more like simple anger that it happened. because now without his little group of followers that looked up to him and did whatever he told them to, he had nobody to feel superior to. he couldnt go on any more power trips by being The Boss bc there was nobody left to indulge him, no one to stoke his ego, nobody to be the boss of. so thats why he felt slighted by shadow in the first place; how dare this hedgehog take away what made him feel special and important. and then of course the ensuing humiliation that came afterward was just the icing on the shit cake haha

it also explains why infinite never brings up his squad in any of his monologues (besides the prequel comics and episode shadow being obvious afterthoughts to the main game loool); he just doesnt care. if anything, their loss was his gain bc it pushed him towards acquiring the phantom ruby and getting to go on the ultimate power trip of world domination and near total subjugation of the population. i think that also ties into his mindset that friends make you weak and you cant rely on anyone but yourself; in his case, thats literally true. if he hadnt lost his squad, if he had initially listened to them, the chain of events we know well would not have come to pass and he would not have gotten to become the powerhouse he did. he would have still been leading his monotonous life and following the same old script. from his perspective they really did hold him back, and only once they were gone was he able to become stronger. he reiterates this by thanking shadow in the dlc for doing what he did in mystic jungle (killing the jackal squad and kicking infinites ass) bc otherwise he wouldnt have gotten the incentive he needed to take on the mantle of becoming a super powered weapon

and if you want some more evidence thats admittedly a lot more of a stretch, you could also interpret infinite creating a posse of past sonic foes as him filling the void of using the jackal squad that was created after shadow had taken them down. he gets to control people again (even if theyre clones that had no choice but to obey him but nyeh i told you it was a stretch), he gets to be a leader again

idk, i just think that having a sob story as a main motivation is (funny joke here) weak. i have never once thought that infinite needs to have some kind of sympathetic or tragic backstory. and maybe thats just my own personal bias coming through bc i prefer villains that are evil for reasons like their moral philosophies or have some kind of goal that makes the audience go "maybe they do have a point tbh" and villains that are just evil for the sake of it over villains that say "my mom died" as if that is any kind of justifiable explanation. imo it almost always comes off as them making an excuse, and its lame. just own it, yknow?

so yeah if i could block one thing from the minds of infinite fans it would be the hc that infinite was tightly knit with the jackals and wanted what was best for them. bc with all the evidence ive seen, its not supported at all, and hes actually the exact opposite; he does what he wants and uses who he wants for his own purposes and gain

also yes i do think shadow straight up killed the other jackals and i do think thats in character for him but thats a conversation for another day

it was a gloomy day, you were laying in the bed in the dark and sad love songs playing.

today was a shit day, nothing exceptional happened, maybe it was because your period was nearing the end soon, maybe it was because you didn’t feel like eating, even when your body was screaming at you, or maybe it was simply because every day is the same. maybe that’s the reason nothing exceptional happened. whatever it was, it brought your mood to the lowest it has been in a while.

thinking on what to do, you came up with the idea to buy some white wine and hit up your plug. getting dressed in just your light grey sweats and sweatshirt you were headed out.

you didn’t really go out that often, only for work. on the way to the shops, it was already dark out. street lamps lighting your way and the last families heading back inside.

searching for the wine, you chose the cheapest and the most high percentage one, today was to just get wasted. you met up with your plug not long after and went finally home.

popped open your wine, taking out a wine glass and it was finally time to literally black out after whatever today was. rolling your joints you were so good at already, and took a puff. you finally felt a wave of relaxation come over you. with the songs playing on your speaker loudly, you felt like maybe life was a little bit okay, but only on substance.

your phone ringed once, twice and a third time. you ignored it. you got a text and went to check out what’s so important.

woo: “hey, you up?”

shit.

you called back.

“hey, why?

woo: “missed you.”

shit.

“woo, seriously? right now out of all times?”

woo: “i always miss you, can i come over?”

shit.

“technically yes. but don’t try anything”

you weren’t going to try look presentable, not right now, your looks didn’t matter right now. what did matter now though, was getting more drunk. no way this was going down while you were sober.

10 minutes passed and you got a knock once, twice and a third time. dragging your feet, you opened the door. there he was. there was wooyoung. always wearing all black clothing, you always were yin and yang, even now. you let him in and he was very surprised to see you like this, high and tipsy. this wasn’t the usual you and he knew this. he knew something was up with you.

sitting down, he asked you:

“hey, what’s up? why are you drinking?”

“man i don’t even know. i guess today was a shitty day.”

a bit hesitant, he sat closer to you, to see if it was fine with you. you didn’t move or push him away, you let him be close to you. to do something you were professionals at. or used to be. he hugged you.

this was it, you thought. all the walls you’ve built up, crashed down at this moment. you haven’t talked to anybody in a long time, less touched somebody.

you felt a tear drop, maybe this was the reason today was shitty.

sitting back, wooyoung wiped your tear with his thumb. he always had big chunky silver rings on, even today.

“dear, please talk to me, okay?”

more tears fell.

“i’m just… i can’t explain it.”

“okay, that’s okay, i’ll be here for you”

“you shouldn’t.”

“i should.”

now you hugged him, you scratched his head to show him you were glad this was happening (even if your head didn’t agree) and he patted your back. slowly his arms went under your thighs to place you on his lap and he hugged your waist.

this was everything you needed. him, music and being drunk.

you got up and went to pour him a glass and roll him a joint. you drank, smoked and talked about what has been happening lately while cuddled up.

slowly you felt yourself getting sleepy and wooyo noticed it, he always does. you traced the map on his face with your fingertips. being as drunk as you were, you kissed him suddenly. it didn’t even mean to happen. maybe it was your body’s own language to him. looking at his eyes, they sparkled. he kissed you back.

this was it. your world was missing a piece, now it’s full again. love, my world is full (thanks to you, woo)

hewwo I was just curious about your trio because I’m love them :0 I’ve seen some of your posts before about their childhoods and where they’re from, and I was wondering what their relationship was like before the present day. like, how did they meet (since from what I gather, they’re from different places)? how old were they? how did they end up becoming so important to each other? when/why was the break up?

gasp...... im always delighted to have an oppurtunity to talk about my blorbos. im sure ive posted about this before - But i will happily summarize again. I did an overview on where each of them were from Here (as well as some talk on accents), and I have the basic overview of their individual backstories in their character summaries linked in my pinned post

this is long so im gonna put it under the cut oop. hope you dont mind an essay

Meeting and School Years

The story of their dynamics really begins as many dreaded childhoods begin: at school. They all were attending the same industrial school as kids/teens, which is where they met. (if you dont know what an industrial school was, they were basically a type of charity run boarding schools created for 'vagrant' children. as a girl's school they wouldve been taught Employable Skills alongside sewing and cooking and such, alongside regular School Stuff)

Jamie was initially there before the other two were, only being around when they were 12 and Josie was 10 that the two of them met, Josie having ended up being sent there some time after her brother died. Jamie had been heavily ostracized from their peers prior to this, so kind of latched onto Josie after they started talking as they, well, didnt really have any other friends. The balancing out of the overly energetic and talkative nature from Jam was also helpful for Josie in a way, giving her the time to adjust and talk on her own accords. Jamie had a habit of sneaking out of the school to wander off into the nearby woods to play, and eventually began inviting Josephine on those 'adventures', which had its highlights and its dangerous moments- kids stuff, yknow how it is.

About a year later, Alex ended up at the same school after being 'transfered' from a reformatory school, long since having already been involved in criminal areas as a kid. (at this point the ages are 15, 13, and 11 for Alex, Jamie, and Josie respectivly)

Alex ended up becoming friends with the other two sort of on accident, when he punched out another girl for bullying Jamie - even back then, he didnt take well to bullies - and subsequently took the fall for such an action. After that Jamie basically wouldnt leave him alone, and dragged him along into the friendship and introduced him to Josie.

The trio spent another couple years at the school, where they learned to balance around and support one anoher in this place that Kind Of Sucks. Alex had plans to leave and meant to break away from the place when he was 17, but the other two insisted on coming with him.

Teen and Adult years

To what im sure is no surprise, Alex basically planned to continue being involved in crime upon his leaving. The other two were a touch involved as well, so to speak, in the matters of surviving on their own. I generally imagine Alex's plan was to return to Birmingham, so thats likely where they ended up.

The rest of this part of the timeline is less specific, a collection of key points between now and the decent to the neath. Important things include Alex's 'pretending' to be a boy for easier access into some spaces stop being pretending, and officially starts to go by Alex. The other two are pretty much okay with it . Jamie starts being involved with artsy groups and eventually gets a job at a theater - it is here they first meet their future ex. Josephine pursued further less typical education outside of the school, before her want to seek answers about personal matters overweighed that desire to just learn things.. and a whole bunch of other things, like Joise returning to Liverpool to seek answers there, Alex becoming more and more tied up in criminal activities (and arson) on the surface, Jamie playing games of copy get to try and climb higher (alongside burgeoning worsening mental health problems but thats another story).

So suffice to say - a lot of time and a lot of things occured. how did they end up becoming so important to each other? well, it was simply a matter of time and the commitment of having only a couple people you can rely on in a world that otherwise cares little for you. Build up of connection, and a support of friendship.

It was the same reason their dynamic ended up falling apart.

Ive talked before on how I don't really know how to qualify their relationship; its not romantic (especially considering the younger years), but its not entierly platonic. There's defiently familia aspects to it, but I wouldnt say they're directly siblings or such (though Jamie def has middle child syndrome lmao). Its a kind of found family relationship that doesn't quite fit within the expectations of expected dynamics.

The 'break up' so to speak wasnt neccearily because of one specific reason. When you have three young adults all in closed spaces, each dealing with their own issues, none having learned how to properly communicate..... well, when the foundation begins to crack, eventually the building is going to topple.

There was no 'final deciding argument' but rather many small ones, over long periods of time. conversations becoming less easy, time together less friendly. what once brought great joy and support instead brought feelings of tension and hurt. Some bends to the foundation simply become to great to support the weight, and it was a slow crumble, day by day.

The final descion to come to the neath was still based on one another, especially as Josie planned to leave one way or another to track down her brother's killer, and by all accounts they still came together. But by then the dynamic had already become fragile, and it would never quite be what it was again.

Sometimes thats just what happens when you grow up, and the people you love and the cricumstances change. Sometimes things just dont work anymore. Perhaps they never truly did.

Q: how do you practice acting and how do you improve yourself in acting?

Mile: since i have less experience than other people, apo gave me a lot of advices. Other than that, i’m learning acting from the acting coach, acting friends around me which have different techniques on their owns. To compare it with playin guitar, there are different ways of picking the strings to make a sound. Acting is also the same, let's take it as the charm of acting

Apo: i think i focused on mind things, i practice meditation regularly because if i dont have a good concentration i can’t control my body to be a tool in acting. i learned from various teachers that "the more you practice the better you get" so that your body remembers what it needs to be done until it feels the necessity to do it every time. Besides, i practice to be " let's ignore it/ let's forget about it". Let's say we get to play this drama/series but we couldn't do it well just like the director expected or just like we wanted. So i just say "let’s forget it" and then put more effort into acting better next time. You can’t be like "just now i already acted good so i can drop the effort". You need to keep improving to act better in the next scene.

Q: with such a big reputation that comes to you right now, is there any day that you can't handle it?

Apo: personally, I don't know, maybe because I’ve been staying in this industry for a long time, I learned how to position myself and my heart. The most important thing is to stay in the present. We have something today, maybe tomorrow we won’t. I always thought that reputation and money are just outgrowth and i prefer to focus on what I want to do, which is acting.

Mile: now a lot of people grew to know us more and it's normal for others to bring up the past whether it’s true or untrue and putting the blame on us. So, as apo said, let's focus on other things. Like when you drive to Chiangmai, you find a lot of happiness along the way but if you focus on "heuy! it's raining" you’re gonna feel all gloomy. So for the negative comments, i won’t lie saying i didn’t have any, there are a lot of them but i chose to focus on other things. Please be kind to me *smiles*. Actually not to me alone, but to everyone in this entertainment industry that wants to create good works for the others

Q: The current world trend is to talk about LGBTQ+ on many different perspectives; what issue do you think it's the most important and you want to give the loudest voice to?

Apo: Aside from the focus on equality, another very important issue is on the law, everyone wants to be accepted in both literal and theoretical sense which includes getting to live with somebody you love; doing many things together, for example buy a car, a house or health concerns. If there is a law protecting them, then these things will be easier for them.

Mile: I agree with what Apo said and i believe in the freedom of living your life, your preferences or to love whoever you want no matter the age or society; everyone has the right to be themselves

Q: your fanclubs come from different countries, do you have any cute episodes about them you wanna share?

Mile: so many, both from Thailand and overseas! During the world tour that we had recently, there was one fan who sent a card saying they travelled from America just to come to our concert and i was like heuy! wondering whether it was true or not so i went to their instagram and that person was tellin the truth. I thought “that person really traveled this far to meet us?” … including all the good wishes that they always send to us.Thank you so much *smiles*

Apo: for me, the love that you guys send me is more important than fame and money, i feel like i can live my life to the fullest everyday,i wanna say that every wishes/messages/cards that you guys send reach us all! for the gifts, there are so many of them so i share some with other people in the company! for those i didnt mention please dont feel hurt by that because your love reached me already; i shared some with other people because i believe that if we spread the love widely it will make this world more brighter and a better place to live in (mile nodded and smiled then he said let me share them with others too, there are seriously so many of them, thank you everyone so so much)

Q: do you have anything you want to say to each other that impressed you and that you never said to your partner before?

Apo: i have one thing that i never said to him..i wanted to say this long time ago (apo's voice became more serious before turning his face to mile who's smiling and teased pmile "i’m making your face all sweet and lovely"). I wanna say that he has became more skilled but he’s never satisfied with himself for real. He has a handsome face and is skilled in what he's doing, i want pmile to be satisfied with himself and not to be anxious. Except from this, pmile has made me more calm. Before, i liked to do things fast and i would get irritated with anything slow. Seeing how pmile is more on the calmer side, it makes me able to do so too like teaching me the other way around saying “there are different people on this world”

Mile: (big smile) i’m not sure whether i already said this before or not… when apo said that he's someone who likes to do things fast, for me, i’m not the slow type, i'm more the one to think a lot. But when we get to spend a lot of time together, having the same goals in terms of working, it shows clearly that the behavior of Apo to do things fast, comes from the fact that he has such a high determination and a very good focus (*turns to apo and teases him* i’m in praising mode). Even since from the beginning we worked together he gave me a lot of advices. I need to thank him one more time, but sometimes i’m afraid he would feel hurt by this because sometimes i followed some of his advices and sometimes i didnt. I know he has a good attention but my method is “i need to ponder about it first” but i listen to him all the time.

Apo: i’m not hurt by that *turns to pmile* i think it's a good combination like everything comes down as Yin and Yang. if we both are fast, it would be awful for the two of us.

ok ok ok so i grew up with tons of big farm dogs. i haven't had a dog for a while now bc running away from home, poverty, etc etc. life might be settling into a place in the next few years where i could get a dog.... and i'm thinking about a chi when that time comes. do you have good info on them? how to find a (relatively) healthy one from a breed rescue or reputable breeder? anything about them that should be known if you dont have one? any quirks they have? feel free to ignore this but this is a chance to spread chihuahua propaganda if you want :)

If you are looking for good information on the breed, I would locate the website for the breed club in your country and start reading. If there's not much of a website, see if you can find any events put on by the breed club in your country so that you can go and learn more in person. Unfortunately the dog world is half people old enough to be our grandparents, so there's not always a lot of technological knowledge to make information readily available to the public in the way we're typically used to.

In the US, that would be the Chihuahua Club of America, but of course you're on anon so I have no idea what country to look for.

I do not have good luck with rescue so I will not be advising you there. Finding a responsible breeder can be quite difficult, especially in this companion breed that is ridiculously popular. In general, you are going to want the breeder that health tests to at minimum the standard laid out by the breed club. Here, that would be heart, knees, eyes, and a basic genetics test. Showing vs not showing, sports vs no sports, those are things that personally I think matter less to the average buyer who just wants a nice pet.

Personally I look for people who at least take their dogs to events and have fun, because I think temperament is incredibly important in any dog breed, but "events" doesn't need to mean "dog events". My chihuahuas' breeders take their dogs to their Buddhist meetings, where they sit on the laps of attendees and run around the temple freely. This tells me a lot more than "does sports", because it means the dogs are capable of being around a large group of strangers and in a strange area completely offleash and are not only safe but happy to be doted on by whoever is delighted by the presence of a billion tiny dogs. They do also take their dogs to fun run sporting events, and they show their dogs too, but I think in a companion breed the hanging out at the temple provides me more information.

As far as quirks go... they're pretty clannish. A good chihuahua is a friendly dog that may square up and fire off at an incoming challenger- they are pretty similar to terriers after all, and my girls will try to chase coyotes off my property despite very much being snack-sized- but at the same time they shouldn't be little asshole rat dogs that no one wants to be around. They prefer to hang out with other chihuahuas or similarly-sized dogs, though with good socialization you can convince them that bigger dogs are okay too. They're very affectionate and needy, but also have their own independent streak, and when training you may need to be creative when convincing them you're worth listening to. They're pretty cold-intolerant and seek heat and comfort. They come from feral pariah dogs, so they have a lot of "primitive" traits seen in other frequently loose, roaming dogs. They can be hard to potty train as they're avid markers, even the females. They tend to steal and hoard and bury things. Despite a reputation for being yappy, mostly my chihuahuas are pretty quiet until there's a reason to bark, but Fae does do a single bark at passersby when out on a walk.

So I just got some chicks today (baby chickens), and my one dog is already super protective of them, growling and nipping at his brother when he gets too close to the brooder. Just made me think, how would the ancestor's react to each other, in regards to Desmond, if they'd been pulled to the modern time? Haven't played AC3 yet, but I dont believe Altair knew anything about Desmond, and of course Ezio knew his name. I'd feel Ezio would be pretty protective of Desmond, especially post temple.

This would primarily depend on when they would be pulled from their time into the modern day. For this scenario, the easiest setup would be to pull them the moment during the time that they are holding an Apple of Eden.

Ratonhnhaké:ton would be easy as we could use the time that he was about to drop the Apple into the sea.

For Ezio, we have a lot of possible candidates but, since you want Ezio to know about Desmond and make him pretty protective of him, I would suggest we take Ezio just as he was about to put the Apple into the Colleseum vault. Revelations!Ezio only touched an Apple after he was ready to finally retire so it would be a bit of a bitchslap to take that tired Ezio.

Altaïr would be the easiest to take out as he used his Apple frequently but if you want an Altaïr with just a hint of arrogance still clinging to him, you can yank him out just as he took the Apple from Abbas during Al Mualim’s funeral fire.

(Of course, if your main request is simply for Desmond to get all the loving and to be spoiled like crazy, you can just yank all three of them during their deathbeds, give them their body during their prime, and, voila, instant Assassin sugar daddies… or sugar mentors?)

Now, of how they would react to Desmond himself…

Ratonhnhaké:ton has no real connection with Desmond but that makes them work well together. They’re more on the side of acquaintances getting to know one another since Desmond only saw enough memories to know who Ratonhnhaké:ton but in a sense of ‘hey, remember this guy?’. His Bleeding Effect hasn’t fully sunk in so Ratonhnhaké:ton is more or less the least ‘connected’ to him. His relationship with Ratonhnhaké:ton is also the least complicated because of that and their relationship would simply grow organically. In terms of protectiveness, Ratonhnhaké:ton knows Desmond can take care of himself but he also believes that Desmond has the habit of ignoring the danger to focus on the mission or task at hand so he keeps an eye on him whenever they’re together.

Ezio knows how important Desmond is and is more inclined to side with him, mainly because Desmond is ‘familiar’ and he knows from Minerva’s message that Desmond is meant to save the world. Once he hears that it meant that Desmond was supposed to die and the only reason why he didn’t is because of the three of them connecting their Apples to Desmond’s Apple during that pivotal moment (even if it’s by accident or they don’t know why), he’d definitely be protective of Desmond.

Altaïr and Desmond would have the most complicated relationship, mainly because of how one-sided it is. At least Ezio knows of him and knows of their connection but Altaïr does not. Any connection Desmond feels would just be on his side and that would be painful to bear, especially on how aloof Altaïr could be. Altaïr would be more or less confused by Desmond’s actions towards him but, at the same time, he would be unable to resist the feeling of warmth that Desmond gives him. Being more or less raised as a lonely child, Desmond’s presence would be more pleasing and he would have the desire to hoard it. The day he starts resisting is the day that his ‘restraints’ go out the window. Out of the three, Altaïr would be the most possessive of Desmond, being the one to always stand too close or call for Desmond’s attention. He’s trying to be more of a team player and not be so standoffish but he tends to forget that when he’s trying to get Desmond’s attention. Thankfully for him, Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton are understanding men, and Desmond… well… Desmond knows this is pretty much on par with Altaïr anyway.

… this will definitely end up with Desmond having a harem. XD

Unorganized Ideas:

Bill is on their shit list. There’s no way he wouldn’t be. Among the three, Ratonhnhaké:ton would be the most ‘cordial’ simply because Bill reminds him of Haytham which is NOT a good thing, all things considered.

Ezio will learn about Clay and he would mourn the loss of a brother he didn’t even know. Whether Clay lives on as some kind of data that got saved in Rebecca’s Animus is up to you though.

Shaun will be hyperventilating once he sees them. He has sooooooo many questions and all that is keeping him from going ‘wild’ is Rebecca.

They will need a lot of time to acclimate to the modern day. During that time, they would lay low and rumors of Desmond’s death will circulate. Desmond wouldn’t even know about it since he was in a perpetual state of shock and amusement. Shock that he’s still alive and was meant to die. Amusement because he’s fucking teaching them things like how the toilet works.

Altaïr has the easiest time understanding tech. On the other hand, he is also a dumbass who microwaved a metal spoon because Desmond insisted that they shouldn’t microwave metal. Desmond learns early on that the best way to teach Altaïr is to explain to him why these and that is not allowed instead of expecting Altaïr to just nod and not do things.

The moment they are proficient enough to use a laptop or a phone and have access to the internet… uuhhh… well… humanity is both beautiful and also the worst thing to ever happen to the world, that’s the ongoing theme that Desmond is now stuck in.
