part one

In the days it takes you to heal from your injuries, Luffy comes to your bedroom to sleep next to you every night. He does try, the night after the first, to sleep in his own bedroom but he can't. Usually sleep comes easy to him, especially after a long day of adventure but not now. He closes his eyes, trying to think of your wounds healing, your soft breathing, your warm hand holding his, but he can't fall asleep. He huffs in irritation and rises from his bed, sulking across the ship to knock on your bedroom door and opening it slowly. You put down your book, you were also struggling to sleep, and open the covers for him. You smile at each other as he excitedly hops into your bed.

And so it becomes routine for you two. Even as your injuries heal completely, as the sunsets and the crew walks off to their separate bedrooms, Luffy follows you into yours and you let him. It becomes normal to roll over in the middle of the night and snuggle into his warm body, to wake up in the morning with his arm wrapped around you, to feel him pull you closer in his sleep, to giggle at his sleep-talking, to hear your name in his mumblings. You offer to let him keep his toothbrush and some clothes in your room, he accepts.

Sleeping together becomes so routine that you have trouble sleeping without him. There were times when you two would be separated by a foe that Luffy challenged and each night you would stay awake staring at his side of the bed, worry clouding your mind and making it impossible to sleep and eventually when Luffy defeated the foe, he would be covered in bandages and it was your turn to listen to his soft, even breathing as he slept. There were times when you be working late into the night and he would come find you, curling up on the floor next to you to sleep in your presence until you eventually finish and drag him back to your bed so you can both sleep comfortably. There were times when you would get angry at him for putting the crew in danger with his recklessness and you'd slammed your bedroom door in his face and toss and turn, your anger at him turning into desperation for him to just come to bed already, eventually you get up to find him and as you open your bedroom door, Luffy's sleeping frame falls on your legs. He'd been sleeping against your door. Smiling you pull his rubbery body into bed and cuddle up next to him, his heartbeat your lullaby. He smiles in his sleep and his arms come up around you. Whenever he's missing his hat or sandals, you find them by your bed.

This new routine of you and your captain sleeping together left your other crewmates with their mouths on the floor several times. They still hadn't gotten used to you two waving goodnight and walking into the same bedroom. When they would ask, you tried to explain but there really wasn't anything to explain. You and their captain couldn't sleep unless you slept together. That's all, why do they always stare at you in such surprise when you say that? Their shocked faces didn't discourage you both into cuddling up to each other at night, finding relaxation, warmth, safety, and comfort in each others arms. What was once your space becomes "our bedroom", "our closet", "our bathroom".

Story about scanners under the cut

I cannot get over how much of a silly little guy by scanner is. Turn him on, can't find connection. Set him on a nice little flat surface, he hums. Cannot find connection. Cradle him in my lap, feel him rumble like a cat as he scans, action complete.

He has anxiety and wants to be held.

Then I had to adjust the colors for an hour cause my boy is color blind.

The start of a super long project that I probably not going to finish.

I have always been fascinated with the art on playing cards. I especially like the ones that have unique designs for each card, or a different character for each one. So, I decided to take a jab at it via Rayman. This is made under the guise of teensies making this for teensies, so teensies are going to be the main designs (sorry everyone, you can go home now).

This is also an excuse to practice in the Legends art style since I hate painting and this whole thing is basically painting so whoopieee.

also chuuya totally has to hem it and it STILL is nearly floor-length and he has to actually tie its belt and it goes off his shoulders (yk like that one official art that everyone loves you know the one)

dazai's like “chuuya you dont actually have to wear it if it really is too big we literally have a 21 cm height diff i understand”

but chuuya is so adamant on wearing it bc its the first sign he's gone into the light and it reminds him of detective murase and its a gift from dazai he can't just not wear the oversized trench coat

Saw another user comparing these two again because apparently all Disney fans do now is regurgitate other people’s opinions so I’m here once again to remind you that they don’t have the same face, you’re just racist.

Disney has white characters that resemble each other more than Isabela and Asha do, and yet I never see the same levels of criticism about them.

If you can’t tell two brown-skinned characters apart because they’re wearing the same colour, then who’s to say that you treat real poc with any more respect than that? The differences are actually quite easy to recognize but it would be terribly presumptuous of me to assume that all of you reading this were in possession of a functioning brain.

I agree that Disney could put in a larger effort in creating more distinguishable female character designs, but I genuinely believe that any resemblance between these two just comes from Disney’s habit of stylization.

Now in response to the other shit this person said:

Wish is a pretty boring name for a movie. Seeing as the movie itself pays homage to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, I feel like a similar name would have been awesome. Asha and the Wishing Star. Asha and the Kingdom of Wishes. Asha and the Little Star. Something like that would’ve been cute.

I’m tired of having adorkable main characters too, but there’s still time for Asha to prove us wrong and show us the what separates her from the others.

King Magnifico isn’t a twist villain, he’s been openly stated during some interviews to be the villain in Wish, and is heavily-inspired by Disney’s golden age of villains as well. Disney’s twist villains have done so much damage that even the simple-minded believe that any presence of an antagonist is “spoiling a twist villain” LMAO

I believe that we should all support Wish in hopes that Disney will continue to branch out into new art styles and experimental visuals. If it does poorly, and they fall back into the style of 3D animation we’ve been getting since 2010, I’m blaming everybody that talked shit about this movie.

My headcanon is that once they’re a little more settled and relaxed Peeta is a lot more open about how ridiculously in love with her he was as a kid. Sharing cute memories like him getting nervous at wrestling matches and losing because she was there. Him fantasizing about marrying her for years. And sometimes Katniss by accident mentions how she would always notice him

both peeta opening up about it, but also katniss teasing him about it. she ribs him something terrible, leaning over his lap and fluttering her eyelashes and being like “so tell me again how you were a goner when you heard me sing?” while he rolls his eyes and nudges her out of his way.

“you know it doesn’t embarrass me. we’ve been married for 3 years. and i’m still a goner for you, katniss everdeen.”

and i like to think that he does make the discovery that she noticed him too. that would make him feel good, and it’s also a good opportunity for him to tease her about being down bad. “and what were you doing at the school wrestling championship? you get a good look? you like what you see?” and because she cannot handle being laughed at (especially not by him) she’s like “shut up i hate you” *flees the scene*

but there are also softer moments, usually when they’re in a cocoon of sheets and pillows in their bed and he’s tracing over her ribs and she’s sleepy and sated and watching him through heavy eyelids, where he’ll allow himself to be sentimental and tell her how he never imagined life would actually be like this - even though he wished it so.

It must be nice to know what eldritch creature you would turn into if the world was just right and you had no help, like it must be kind of reassuring to know you'd still have your thumbs at least, in this way Siffrin is winning at life in other ways not so much
