I started up doing Pilates again today, I’m starting slow with beginner workouts and my goal is to do three times a week. I’m also trying to be better about self care and do my skin routine in the morning and evening instead of just the evening. I struggle with basic self care a lot because my brain is broken but I’m trying. I need to redo my nails before I see Rabbit next week and I’ve been diligently reading Ina Garten’s memoir so I think I’m doing pretty good of taking care of myself lately. I think the new townhouse is a good change for me, being able to do laundry when I want is amazing and it’s so nice and quiet. The porch is really lovely this time of year so I’ve been enjoying time out there. I ordered some Korean sunscreen even though I stay mostly in the shade I don’t want to chance anything, I don’t need any aging from the sun. I wanted to get Bi-Han’s movie skin in MK1 but I don’t have enough dragon crystals and fuck if I’m going to give WB anymore money than the shit ton I’ve given them. If anyone got it and wouldn’t mind taking screenshots for me I’d appreciate it!

So if I understand this correctly, you're not only working on two fics that update weekly but also rewriting fractures at the same time ??? How

I'm surprisingly good with deadlines. I do better when there's pressure. That's why the Fractures Rewrite is also getting a lot of attention right now; I've got finals coming up this month and should be working on those instead.

To be fair, for the two that are updating actively, I only do editing work for them now on their respective days. The chapters themselves are already written. So in actuality, what I'm working on right now is Fractures Book 2, Broken Mirrors and Fragile Things, and the Fractures Rewrite.

Fractures Book 2 will start updating weekly on Friday once So Goes the Moon is finished (after probably a week or two break), and Broken Mirrors and Fragile Things will start updating weekly on Sunday once Eventide is finished (once more after probably a week or two break).

i feel nothing but neverending sympathy for basically everyone involved with Homestuck Beyond Canon. if you put me in a situation where a major, controversial plot point of my story was revealed through a fan-contest YEARS before it was actually going to be put into motion, and then i had to deal with people whinging and whining and complaining about it non-stop for YEARS despite the fact that it hasn't actually happened yet and they have no idea what i'm actually going to do with that plot point, i'd kill everyone in the room and then myself.

it's one thing to not like where the story's gone thus far, to be disinterested in post-canon, etc etc etc. totally fair. but holy shit can Homestuck fans realize that complaining about plot beats that HAVEN'T HAPPENED YET is fucking stupid??? you have no idea what's going to happen! you don't! you don't know how this story is going to go! you have your headcanons and theories and your wish-list of shit but you don't know the future and acting like you do is fucking stupid!!!! either let the story be told and save your bitching for when you actually HAVE something to bitch about, or just stop reading and posting about the comic you don't like!!!!!!!!
