I’m Nina, 27. Born and living in the UK.

I was formerly known as Corey / LittleLokiLad. I wrote fanfics, created memes and had several lovely moots that I’d love to connect with again.

To explain my name change, I was going by Corey while I was exploring my gender identity. That journey has came to an end following certain events. I have reached the conclusion that I am female, and wish to be known as Nina (she /her). I don’t mind if you use my old name or pronouns accidentally or out of habit, but I prefer Nina.

I run my own business, and I love creating digital content. Content creation is my passion and I want to combine that with my love for Loki.

I also love to write, I want to get back into writing fics again. I also have plans to publish a few novels in the future.

After certain events in my life, I’ve grown more interested in connecting to Loki as a deity and consider myself Lokean, and I’m a fan of Marvel’s Loki. In my mind, I blend the two into one person. Loki has been known to take many faces, so in my mind they are linked.

My fanfics focus on Marvel Loki, but sometimes I expand on Marvel Loki’s already rich backstory by integrating aspects of Norse Mythology.

I hope to connect again with moots that I have been missing, and I look forward to connecting with the wider fandom again.

I’m sorry to my old moots who were worried about me. I won’t make excuses for upsetting you by leaving with little explanation. But I hope that you understand why I disappeared. I needed a break for my health.

Note: For those who knew about my situation and have been worried, I am back home and living with my family for support. To be candid, I was dealing with emotional abuse and sexual violence from my ex partner around the time that I left. It all became too much for me, and I only wish to discuss this with close friends. My entire life was basically Ragnarok’d in September.

Further context: I was forced off the site back in September 24. Let’s just say I was the victim of questionable morals.

A few people that were involved have apologised, so please do not say anything to them on my behalf, it’s between me and them. I’d advise you to keep any opinions on this to yourself as it’s likely that you don’t know the full story.

I don’t really want to talk about it, and I won’t be actively engaging with anyone that contributed to my departure. I know who my friends are and I wish to concentrate on them while I find my footing here. If someone wants to make amends then they may, but I plan on reserving my energy.

I’m not naming names, and this is the only time the situation will be mentioned on my blog. Any asks or DMs will be deleted if I suspect you’re contacting me to stir up old situations. You will also be blocked if I find out that you have discussed my mental health in a derogatory way, or have used it to discredit me.

I’m not here to start fights or get confrontational with anyone. Expect to be “grey rocked” for poor behaviour.

i don't really want to see this retconning of neil gaiman's writing where people are re-analyzing stories like "look...you can see the message under the surface...showing how he was actually abusive IRL...it's all there..."

idk maybe we should just listen to people when they speak up and say they were abused and try to foster a culture of respecting victims and actually enforcing justice against perpetrators instead of doing this weird fucking da vinci code-esque picking apart of his stories. stories which everyone was fine with for decades!! because we understand that the content that people write and produce does not have a 1 to 1 correlation with their real world actions!!!

i fully support people who cannot engage with his work anymore and i do think that because he's a still-living person it's imperative to not give this guy another cent, but we cannot pretend that everyone was just "too dumb" to see the secret clues and turn this into another case of "what you write is what you endorse." plenty of dogshit people write good stories. plenty of good people write dark stories. that's all.

if you're aware of the Vulture article on Neil Gaiman, there's not much i can add; if you aren't and you go looking, my only advice is that if you hit a point where you're wondering if you should bail, do so, because the details of his behavior only get more vile as it goes along.

however, one thing i WILL say is to be on the lookout for smear campaigns against the sources and/or the journalist, Lila Shapiro, in the coming weeks and months. i cannot stress enough how brave this article is. if there's one thing more hazardous to your reputation than blowing up a rich and influential serial predator in the entertainment industry, it's making the church of scientology look bad, and she's managed to do both in one stroke. remember Lila Shapiro's name, and be extremely skeptical if it suddenly turns up later this year as the target of some slimy allegation.
