so @riveracheron and i were talking about which entities fit the hatchetfield musicals and nmt episodes and they had the idea of a time bastard au where ted becomes the distortion

so of course i had to draw it

i bought some new beads and decided to make some cute pride bracelets

some necklaces!!! the first two i made a while ago, and the acorn one and the dragonfly(?) wing one i made just now

the acorn and the wing are real btw! i found the wing at the pool last weekend and thought it was cool so of course i had to take it home and preserve it in resin!

and then this, you’ve probably noticed as my header thing

this isn’t jewelry but i did make it in the class and once again it involved enameling

and yeah i really like how it turned out :)

i made this during the enameling unit, so basically it involved getting a piece of copper, sifting white powdered glass onto it, firing it in a kiln, taking this black little strips of glass (i forget what they were called) and arranging them in the shape of a web (i had to do it in two parts), and then i think the rest of it is pretty straightforward

i *did* made enameled earrings for (most of) the other lib, but tbh i didn’t really like them as much 😭 and the webby necklace is my favorite

technically the second pair of earrings isn’t part of the first set, but it also kind of is?

so for the first set, the assignment was to make a pair of earrings as well as either a necklace or a bracelet out of paper beads (we made all the beads ourselves)

i printed out picture of monet’s iris garden painting to use for my beads, since it’s one of my favorite paintings and it has a lot of colors

for the second pair of earrings, the assignment was to make a pair of diptych earrings out of shrink plastic (basically the picture continues from one piece to another). i chose the same painting, and then since i had some paper beads left over, i decided to add them
