My painting is on display in a gallery. All pieces in this exhibition are made from recycled materials. Only the painting displayed is my work. Everything else is done by other talented people, and I may or may not have bought the black crocheted cardigan.

"Goldfish"

This is a mixed media painting from my art journal for goldfish. I don't always know what these will be, I got by what's on the background layers underneath before I decide.

Materials: A4 journal, water colour pallet, paint brushes, jar of water, cleaning cloth, posca paint pens and a hair dryer.

Time taken: 6 hours over two days

I made a junk journal entry for a Frida Kahlo exhibition I went to with my art group. I liked that the exhibition wasn't just about her art but also the things she owned. I'm hoping to get out to more exhibitions soon.

Dessert: I don't always have the best luck with pastry, but this turned out better than I was expecting, and rhubarb and raspberry is a really good combination for fruit compote.

Recent cooking: cheese platter with homemade quince paste, curried sausages, crumbed chicken with salsa, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, and green beans, homemade meatlovers pizza, pumpkin Ravioli pasta bake and spaghetti bolognese.

Quilted book cover wip. I recently joined a book making and book binding hobby group. This has been on my list of things to learn to make for quite a while. I'm honestly surprised to find somewhere local for this. I've also joined sewing and crochet hobby groups too so I can expand my skill range and learn new things.

"Kitty the Thief."

My new kid from Stick of Truth. I played Fractured But Whole fist and then the free version of Stick of Truth that came with the collectors edition. Unfortunately, I have the heavily censored Australian version, and I get a sad crying koala instead of the playable mini games.

I'm also drafting fan fiction based on Stick of Truth, which I hope to start posting on fanfiction.net sometime soon.
