Albedo move it’s my turn to have diluc hands on my face 💔

Albedo inviting Diluc over so they can investigate dragonspine leylines together but he's conducting a double study. He wants to learn more about human emotions because Diluc is the type to wear his heart on his sleeve.

spoiler: he falls in love. how could he not? the way Diluc makes sure he doesn't push himself, get rid of any obstacles in his research area, and going as far as to hold his face in his hands because he looked cold

If you'll let me. A little drabble.

It really started with a small note at the end of a letter from Alice. The major of the letter was composed of interesting things Alice had seen and done and little tests she performed on Albedo's behalf. But then it ended.

I heard that Diluc had come returned home. Please keep an eye on him to make sure he's doing well <3

Albedo had heard of Diluc. And even in meeting him, Diluc seemed like the last sort of person who would need someone to look after him. He was very controlled, composed, and rather honest.

Then there was the letter from Diluc asking about the leylines. Albedo responded, relaying what little he knew on the topic as best he could to the laymen while he closed his old paper. He hadn't expected Diluc to write him back on the matter.

It seemed Diluc was quite diligent at well.

He might be a good companion to further explore the leylines as well. And maybe a good case study in human nature as well. As Alice's words still echoed in his.

Why would such a person need to be watched?

Well, Diluc accepted Albedo's offer. And it didn't take Albedo long to see past the stony exterior. While he might appear to be a perfectly composed gentleman, a cold, calculating calm that always knew what to say and do, but one who was also unafraid to jump wildly into a fight. Behind all was a gentle soul. A sweet, kind soul who refused to see others suffer when he could help.

"You look cold?" Diluc voice had snapped Albedo out of his thoughts.

"Oh well, yes, I am. But It's fine, we still-"

"Here." Diluc had pulled off his gloves and offered his hands to the alchemist.

Albedo hesitated, so Diluc took the initiative and placed his warm hands on to Albbeod's cheeks.

"Feel better?"

"Y-yes much beter." Albedo stared up at Diluc.

Diluc was smile was barely visible, but its slight tile to the left and the warm glint in his eyes gave it away. Albedo was desperately wishing he had his sketchbook with him to try and capture the look. Diluc seemed rather happy that Albedo was warmer.

"Aren't you cold?"

"Terribly." Diluc snorted. "But me being cold is still quite warm to other people."

"You are very kind, master Diluc."

Diluc almost recoiled at that but quickly recovered and shook his head.

"Not at all. Just... practical."

Not long after meeting Alice, she had told Albedo one thing. One thing she called the truth of this world.

"This world is a harsh place. Even harsh to the ones born with gentleness woven into their souls."

Albedo understood it at that moment. Alice's s motivation for writing him that letter. Alice had been well Alice and saw thought to Diluc's good nature. And Albedo would happily agree to her request.

“I am fully responsible to drive, you know that right?” Riddle said to Leona

Vil sighed, “Stop teasing the poor potato”

Leona laughed as he started the car, with Vil next to him so they easily switch driving. And Riddle being right behind them, just in case they need another driver 😇

They were about to drive off but then Lilia appeared and had said, “You forgot Malleus” then disappeared

“Alright, we’re all ready to go right?? I just want to be done with this” Leona spoke as everyone nodded

Kalim suddenly screamed making everyone look his direction. When they did, they saw Kalim clinging to Jamil for dear life as Lilia scared the living SHIT out of him

Jamil was protecting Kalim from the fire, Riddle was done with this shit and started having a breakdown, Malleus was smiling because he was actually invited to something, Vil was trying to put out the fire, Idia was still trying to get out of the car, and Azul was somehow calm
