That’s how my oc feels about Peter. His name is David who’s trying protect his sister Penelope who stills recovering trauma from her mother who kidnapped her when she was kid. Now David wouldn’t slap them. It be like this.

“You don’t love him. You’re tricking yourself you love him due to you not being able to function a stable relationship since you can’t even try to because you find them boring. See that’s the answer because it excites you is your mundane life and you don’t give a shit people killed by him even they could be a pregnant woman or child while their love ones have to live with the grief because your disgusting needs come first. But I will tell you this, if you drag my sister into this or tell her that she should accept him. I’ll make sure the whole campus and town knows how sick you are and I’m sure you won’t like that.”

I’m shorter words David would basically threaten y/n to break up with Peter if they get his sister involved and for my version of y/n at times can be self conscious.

Im really happy we got more people on the peterxyn/peter hating club!🥰 im smiling like a fool while writing this bc of how good you writed the dialogue!

And i really love the lore! It feels so real and i want to know more about the characters you make! Is very weird to find original characters with common sense(aka knowing that Peter is a shitty person) in the your boyfriend fandom and im glad that at least there's people who dosen't romantizes Peter's and yn "relationship".

Going with what @nunezs-stuff said previously, I would agree cuz as handsome as they are, I did not pay any attention to them in terms of their designs while I was growing up besides being seen as rejet’s standard stereotypical handsome bad boy with cool bright animesque hair colors, even before I saw how terrible they are personality wise as an adult. (no offense and bashing to those who do like the diaboys design cuz of course 😒)

Which honestly kind of makes me glad in a way that as of right now I’m basically finding ways of making my own male characters attractive by not just being tall, lanky, and skinny, but also through body diversity, semi realistic hair colors, and being beautiful and kind in personality as much as they are on the outside. (yes, even with cool bright animesque hair colors but they’re mostly reserved for fantasy). Kind of how Pokémon and Twst does with their gym leaders through generations 5 to 9/ Yuusonas in the manga adaptations

And even then if some may not see my male characters designs in how they’re seen and portrayed as interesting in their eyes, I’ll still try my best in making them look actually interesting and attractive while maintaining that semi realistic charm in their designs.

Im just glad people agree with my opinion about their designs🥰

Even being considered "handsome" their designs are so boring and plain it makes me feel nothing, and the fact that almost everyone has the same body type is just plain fear of change of rejet.

Thats another reason i love twisted wonderland! Even if some characters look simple they manage to steal the spotlight and be remembered!

Yeah same I feel super who had the most interesting design and I still had Canon that he is albino

He kind of reminds me of a white rabbit

Also random detail but I've always liked the streaks of pink that he had in the anime I feel it really made him stand out I wish it was part of his Canon design

Also me too I didn't find any of them really attractive in terms of design kind of wish they were more creative with them

Although I won't bash anybody that likes the DL boys since there's no reason to

He reminds me of a dove or a white crow! But the idea of white rabbit makes so much sense.

The pink streaks are also a good touch, it makes him look less monocromatic.

Honestly i think rejet has a serious fixation of making guys that are 1)tall 2)lanky/skinny and 3)with very bright/unusal hair colours, is not original at this point.

You know when I first saw this guy I thought he was really hot but as soon as he called our girl yui livestock I just stared at my screen feeling ashamed.....

Honestly i didn't find any of them atractive lol even without the context i never find any one of them interesting in design, they're pretty basic, the only one who striked my interest was subaru bc i thought he was albino and i liked his color pallete.

Okay again forgive me for my nitpick but if I had to go around DL as a dark romance I would make it a yandere game but without the brutal abuse

towards our poor girls like I want them to be cold and distant to her yes but not extremely mean

like they won't physically harm yui for fun or for trying to help them and if they did it would likely

be on accident like they lost their temper unsure what to really believe and accidentally hurt her and where they feel bad and they realize she's

not trying to hurt them she's trying to help them and they apologized to her and let her in realizing she's the only person that truly cared about them

and is an angel in some way that come to give them a light and Hope and that her feelings

towards them are genuine and that if they need time she will give it to them but yui will always be there to give them a hand and where are they

become very attached to her and jealous they won't physically harm her but harm those around her that dare to hurt her or threatened their happiness and just want her safe because they know she's quite naive and innocent but she isn't

stupid and they don't want people to harm that and if it means locking her away with everything she needs to keep her happy and alive then they

will do it because an angel like her doesn't need to be in the cruel outside world

But this is my take on DL so I understand if you may not like it

DL being a real dark romance would be interesting indeed, because unlike people think dark romance is not about abuse and stockolm syndrome disguised as romance, but about people falling in love even in the darkests of times and never harming their partner, is not about falling in love with abusers is falling in love with someone who is willing to burn the world for the MC.

I would have enjoyed diabolik lovers if they have go to that route instead of a game that fetishizes abuse and suffering.

If they were in a dark romance they would destroy anyone who tries to take away yui's purity of her soul, not destroying her themselves.

I don't remember the account but I remember this random post someone made on Tumblr and it's about them complaining about yui self-pitying herself and being insecure and that she needs to be more

confident and I'm just looking at that post Knowing damn well that if they were in her place being constantly insulted put

down and called ugly and stupid flat chested and useless or being called a lewd woman by the DL love interests Non-Stop that they would be just as insecure as her if they were in her place

Like baby girl yui didn't do anything wrong other than being done Dirty by the DL creators

Peter wasn't near as bad on the blog as he was in game and thats what most people latch on to, and there are plenty who argue that they're basically two different characters.

I can understand that, but even in the blog Peter is questionable at best, at least to me.

I was into the game more for the psychologic horror, not the stockolm syndrome disguised as "romance" that turned out.

I can understand why poeple like the blog Peter! Bc is honestly more likeable but still have some issues of the character and that was good.

I sincererly hope we don't get a "good" ending with Peter in any route, because someone who is willing to cut your own leg just to avoid you leaving him(i know he says is bc of the bear trap but there are other ways of treating that type of wound without AMPUTATION and he probably just wanted an excuse to do it)can't be a good partner or human being.

Me gustó más el juego por el terror psicológico, no por el síndrome de Estocolmo disfrazado de "romance" que resultó ser.

Like I get if they give the character powers then okay but my God it's just so boring when they're overpowered and have the power to rewrite time or something like it's boring to me but I understand if people like them

I completley understand the appeal of super powerful characters, but what i don't like is the character not having a fatal weakness for whatever reason.

Is okay to have powerful character as long as they're realistic.

I really hate the Mary sue/Gary stue characters tho, they're the most annoying shit ever.

I've been into visual novels for a long time, including Your Boyfriend. Even with how unpleasant the game's creator is (if you're sensitive, I don't recommend looking up the fuboo case), I must admit that I like the game's story and the characters are well-written.

Although Peter is well-written, I hate him :) not only for the things he does but for how the fandom romanticizes him :/ I think the best ending for Peter would be for him to die or for YN to kill him in self-defense.

But now for the girls, I introduce Helena and Mabel! They both take on YN's role in different ways, with Helena being the victim of Peter's obsession and Mabel being the one who tries to help her girlfriend protect herself from her stalker by seeking help from TK/Don/Lucy but end up saving her girlfriend herself with the help of don's son Roy.

Mabel is a cosmetics student who has a strong and dominant attitude, she is not afraid of violence and is very protective of her girlfriend and family, she has a somewhat dark sense of humor but is very sociable and friendly when you get to know her.

Helena is studying to be a social worker and is a shy and reserved girl who doesn't really like going out to parties or going to crowded places, but she's the sweetest girl in the world and is always willing to help others. She's fearful and afraid of facing threats alone, but she also doesn't want others to put themselves in danger for her.

They both love each other very much and send Peter out to eat 💩

If Peter isn't killed by the police/YN, Mabel will gladly do it :)

Helena enjoys crocheting, gardening, and baking.

Mabel likes drawing, playing video games, and cosplaying.

Mabel has a distant and chaotic relationship with her parents bc they're pretty much homophobic and real bigots, but she loves her father and mother in law and they are really nice people, they practically adopted mabel into the family after she got kicked out by hers.

Hace mucho tiempo que estoy metida en el mundo de las novelas visuales, entre ellas la de your boyfriend, aún con lo desagradable que es la creadora del juego(si eres sensible no te recomiendo buscar el caso de fuboo) debo admitir que me gusta la historia del juego y los personajes están bien escritos.

Aunque por más bien escrito que este Peter yo lo odio:) no solo por las cosas que hace sino por como el fandom lo romantiza:/ creo que el mejor final para Peter seria que este muera o que YN acabe con el en defensa propia.

Pero ahora llendo con las chicas ¡les presento a helena y mabel! Ambas toman el rol de YN de distintas formas, siendo helena la víctima de la obsesión de Peter y mabel siendo quien trata de ayudar a su novia a protegerse de su acosador buscando ayuda de TK/don/lucy pero termina ella salvando a su novia con la ayuda de roy(el hijo policía de don).

Mabel es una estudiante de cosmética que tiene una actitud fuerte y dominante, ella no tiene miedo de la violencia y es muy protectora con su novia y familia, ella tiene un sentido del humor algo oscuro pero es muy sociable y amigable cuando la conoces.

Helena estudia para ser trabajadora social y es una chica tímida y reservada que no le gusta mucho salir de fiestas o ir a lugares poblados, pero es la chica más dulce de la existencia y siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Ella es temerosa y teme afrontar amenazas sola pero tampoco quiere que otros se arriesguen por ella.

Ambas se aman mucho y mandan a Peter a comer 💩

First gay drawing of Pride Month! And from Twisted Wonderland no less😅

Yuusei has two potential love interests, Ace and Malleus (thank god for letting me multiship), and the two have very interesting dynamics.

Ace and Yuusei have the idiot x idiot dynamic. Usually, Yuusei is the down-to-earth one and Ace is the more reckless one, but they both balance each other out and help each other out.

Yuusei really cares for Ace and wants to make sure he doesn't get into trouble, especially if it's to defend him. Yuusei is like a mother hen in that regard, but he also wants to be as carefree as Ace.

Ace may be a jerk sometimes (most of the time), but he truly respects Yuusei and doesn't want him to be a doormat for others to step on. He helps Yuusei avoid being a people pleaser, and Yuusei teaches him to be a better person with his endless patience.

Ace is a prankster but he always wants to include Yuusei in his pranks instead of making him a victim of them, Ace is important to Yuusei because he makes him feel like a boy his age and remember him that it's okay to be immature, he feels free even if he doesn't say it.

Malleus and Yuusei are the superpowered x normal guy dynamic, which honestly makes their ship incredibly funny to me since Yuusei doesn't understand how he could have bagged FUCKING MALLEUS DRACONIA of all people and Malleus is just thinking about how he's going to tell his grandma that the next queen of Briar Valley will be a male without magic🤣

Even with how mysterious Malleus is, it's obvious to everyone (except Yuusei) that Yuusei has a special place in his heart, even if he doesn't know it. He just understands that Yuusei is so important to him that the thought of Yuusei getting to fear him like everyone else makes him sad and distressed.

Yuusei sees Malleus as everything he wants to be: confident, respected, and assertive. However, for Malleus, Yuusei is perfect just the way he is, For him, the prefect doesn't have to change anything about himself to be better; he just has to be himself, and that's more than enough for him.

Yuusei definitely wants to help Malleus be better with people and is patient enough to teach him social norms, the use of technology he can use, and certain customs from where he comes from.

With Malleus around, it's certain that no one will abuse Yuusei's kindness. He just needs to stay near Yuusei and look in the direction of anyone who dares to try to use him, and they'll already be running in the opposite direction from the prefect.

If i had to identify yuusei with a orientation it would be demi-pan! He takes a while to fall in love but when he does it dosen't matter who is as long as they are good people(male,female, none, dosen't matter to him), he also uses they/them pronouns alongside he/him.

Yuusei tiene dos posibles intereses amorosos, ace y malleus(gracias dios por dejarme ser multishipper), y ambos tienen dinámicas muy interesantes.

Ace y yuusei son la dinámica de tonto x tonto, normalmente yuusei es quien tiene los pies en la tierra y ace es el más desmadroso, pero ambos se balancean y se ayudan mutuamente.

Yuusei realmente aprecia a ace y quiere asegurarse de que no se meta en problemas, especialmente si es para defenderlo, yuusei es como una mamá gallina en ese aspecto pero también quiere ser tan despreocupado como ace.

Ace será un idiota a veces(la mayoría del tiempo) pero el realmente respeta a yuusei y no quiere que este sea un tapete para que los demás pisen, el ayuda a yuusei a no ser un people pleaser y yuusei le enseña a ser mejor persona con su paciencia infinita.

Ace podra ser bromista pero el siempre quiere incluir a yuusei en sus travesuras en vez de hacerlo víctima de ellas, ace es importante para yuusei porque le hace sentir como un chico de su edad y le hace recordar que esta bien ser inmaduro, le hace sentir libre aunque no lo diga.

Malleus y yuusei son la dinámica de tipo superpoderoso x chico normal, lo que sinceramente hace que su ship sea increíblemente divertido para mi ya que yuusei no entiende como se pudo ligar AL PUTO MALLEUS DRACONIA de todas las personas y malleus solo esta pensando en como le va a decir a su abuela que la próxima reina de briar valley será un chico sin magia🤣

Incluso con lo misterioso que es malleus es obvio para todos(menos yuusei) que yuusei tiene un lugar especial en su corazón aun si el no lo sabe, solo entiende que yuusei es tan importante para el que el solo pensar que yuusei le llegue a temer como los demas le genera tristeza y angustia.

Yuusei ve a malleus como todo lo que quisiera ser, confiado, respetado y asertivo, sin embargo para malleus yuusei es perfecto tal y como es, para el yuusei no tiene que cambiar nada de si mismo para ser mejor, solo tiene que ser el y eso es más que suficiente para el.

Yuusei definitivamente quiere ayudar a malleus a ser mejor con la gente y tiene bastante paciencia para enseñarle normas sociales, uso de tecnología que el pueda usar y ciertas costumbres de donde viene.

Con malleus cerca es seguro que nadie abusara de la amabilidad de yuusei, solo necesita quedarse cerca de yuusei y mirar en la dirección de quien se atreva a intentar usarlo y ya estarán corriendo a la dirección opuesta del prefecto😅

Si tuviera que identificar a yuusei con una orientación seria demipansexual! Toma un tiempo en enamorarse pero cuando lo hace no importa quien sea siempre y cuando sea una buena persona(hombre, mujer,ninguno, no importa para el), el también usa pronombres neutros junto a los masculinos.

This is how i imagine azusa in the firelights event, her outfit is heavily inspired by jasmine wedding dress in the live action and her peasant disguise in the same live action movie.

I can imagine that in this event jamil and azusa would have their first kiss(yes, they were dating for almost a year but haven't kissed before), it would be such a sweet moment and so romantic it makes me squeal😭💖

Also i wanted to show azusa and Aleayiq in their school uniform! Aleayiq has the bad habit of calling people she dosen't like peasants and azusa tries to make her stop this issue of her but it will take a long time😅

Así es como imagino a Azusa en el evento de loa fuegos artificiales. Su atuendo está muy inspirado en el vestido de novia de Jasmine en la película live action y su disfraz de campesina en la misma.

Me imagino que en este evento Jamil y Azusa se besarían por primera vez (sí, llevaban casi un año saliendo, pero nunca se habían besado). Sería un momento tan dulce y romántico que me hace chillar 😭💖.

¡También quería mostrar a Azusa y Aleayiq con su uniforme escolar! Aleayiq tiene la mala costumbre de llamar campesinos a quienes no le caen bien, y Azusa intenta que deje de hacerlo, pero tardará mucho. 😅
