As someone who gets very bad migraines, this is very much how my brain feels sometimes.

Remember STAG to help keep the migraines at bay (and also just general wellbeing):

Stay hydrated (Water! Drink it)

Take your meds (this is your daily reminder)

Avoid Caffeine (low amounts if 0 isn’t possible)

Get some sleep (7+ hours real rest people!)

So I love Mononoke, like a lot.

I fell I love with the manga and anime so I was very excited for the film. And it was so nice to see how many people love the series.

But by far the best thing about this fandom is the art.

I mean look at this!! It’s just beautiful!! I do not have the words! The colours, the flair, just everything!!

So I’m a little late to the party but I finally listened to the Ithaca saga of Epic, and it was amazing, it made me cry!

But one thing on my brain is the Scylla song, because Scylla says “we are the same you and I”.

I noticed in the Odysseus song that they go “keep your head down he’s aiming for the torches”, which made me think of how Scylla killed the six men who held the torches in the thunder saga.

Not a tatoo story but sort of similar.

I went to a spa for my mum's birthday and I was on the bed face up mostly nude, with a towel over my eyes. The masuse (very tall muscular blonde lady) put her hands round my neck with pressure beofre rubbbing down my shoulder quite hard and then back to my neck, and said "you've got a lot of tension I'll have to be a little rough".

I was way too comftbale with being not quite choked 😳

I mean I’ve had these moments about a few things 😂

I do not like gate keeping but boy have I been bad, especially when I hyper-fixate on my new favourite thing.

But because my friends are the one who get me into things usually they hold me accountable when I’m being a twit, I apologise (after a wonderfully fun argument, the kind you can only have when you both love something and you’re dying on the most pointless hill) and we move on.

We’ve all been fandom gremlins at some point! But we learn to chill out eventually!

What has your gremlin been guarding fandom wise?

Ok new game. What's the thing you're a fan of that you're the most pretentious about. NOT the most pretentious thing you're a fan of, I mean the thing that makes *you* act like one of those "oh yeah? Name five of their albums" people. There is a difference
