Hello hello!!! Quick request for you!! How do you think characters like Atsushi, Kunikida, Nikolai and Fyodor would handle having a crush on reader that works of the Port Mafia? Like, how would they notice they have fallen in love, how would they approach their crush, would they have any plans on confessing etcetc! Headcanon format please!!!!Of course take as much time as you need!!!! (⁠◠⁠‿⁠・⁠)⁠—⁠☆ (btw feel free to cut any characters out if it's too much!!)

Would have several breakdowns about it before accepting it

You two probably got to know each other without him knowing what you do as a job so finding it out during an invastigation at the ada was shocking

He tried to talk to you but couldn't convince you to leave

He's extremely stressed during investigations and missons now because he doesn't want to arrest you

There's a whole page in his notebook about how to deal with the fact you work for the PM and how to never risk to sue you or send you in jail if they found really bad evidences about you

Doesn't understand why he likes you since you're so far away from his ideals but still plans to marry you in 4 years (obviously as following his ideals)

I don't think he would care honestly

Whatever you do is fine as long as you're funny and not too clingy

You two probably met in jail or something

Once he tried waiting for you to finish your work at the headquarters but they tried to kick him out and it ended up as a bloody hell —he never did that again (under your request).

Since then nobody ever dared to say something against you at the PM —somehow he always finds out everything.

Would absolutely joke about it

He went to you place once and it was full of weapons of any find so now everytime you're out together and he sees something that could be used as a weapon he elbows you smiling and says something like "do you feel home?"

Absolutely loves when you tell him about your job

But sometimes he also gets a little annoyed because he thinks that working for the PM is restraining you from being free

And really I don't think that him having a crush on you would be a good thing, you'd probably end up like Fyodor

Actually, that's even better for him 'cause now he knows everything that goes on there

I don't even think he would be particularly worried for your safety, both because he knows you can take care of yourself and because it's just not in his nature to get worried over people

He would ask you about your day and try to act interested in your missions to be nice since he likes you and not just give you the impression that he wants you dead

Once he followed you (without telling you) on a mission and surprised you with a hug from behind after you killed everyone almost giving you a heart attack

Didn't even say sorry, just deadpan looked at you in the eyes and said "surprise, my dove."

actually it's one of the few periods in which you see each other practically all the time because he's usually in the office and on missions a lot and you see each other in the evenings, at dates and on days off

He doesn't get sick often, so the first few times he had to take care of you it was a bit of a mess

Makes dinner for you. Always.

If it's something serious he'll even ask Mori for advice

He'll cuddle with you all the time he's at home

SLICE OF LIFE

You were sitting on the couch in your apartment, blankets all over you and a book on your lap, when someone knocks at your door. You don't even have to check, given the time (8pm), it's surely Chuuya. You lazily get up, walk to the door -still covered in blankets- and open it. The red haired man walks in muttering a "good evening" and lets himself fall on the sofa. You close the door and guess he just got back from a mission. His coat is dirty and he's holding his hat in his hands.

"Good evening..." you reply, your voice a bit shuffled.

He turns his head and looks at you narrowing his eyes "are you sick?" He asks, even though you know he doesn't really need a confirmation. "What's with the blankets, it's not even cold. Damnit, you know you should tell me when something's off," he starts babbling about how he would have come home sooner if he had known, and in the meantime he gets up, throws his coat and hat on the couch and moves to the kitchen. You follow him around sighing, still holding onto your blankets.

"Chuuya, it's just a cold. There's no need for yo-"

He shuts you up with a shh and puts a cup of tea in your hands. "I'm preparing dinner." He says, with an assertive voice.

You stare at the cup for a few moments, then shrug and sit down on a chair, observing him while he cooks. "Thank you." You say.

"Shut it. I love you." He replies "I'd do this and more." He adds, muttering.

You smile and get up, walking behind him wrapping your arms around his waist and resting your head against his shoulder. "I love you too."

He smiles slightly and kisses your cheek.

Do you think Dazai can be trusted to hold a baby? He probably doesn't. But you need both hands free to use your ability and there's no safe place to put them down.

You shove the baby into his arms and run towards the disaster. How does he react?

“Plans change”

You and Dazai are at the amusement park, waiting in line to ride the Ferris wheel. You’re holding the daughter of a friend who was at work; she’s just over three years old. It’s getting dark and the streetlights are starting to come on. The line is moving terribly slowly. Some people are starting to jostle, asking loudly why it’s taking so long, and honestly, you’re getting annoyed too. Dazai asks to save his seat and moves out of the long line of people to see what’s going on. There’s a bang and suddenly the people closest to the wheel start screaming. The guy checking tickets is slumped on the ground, blood dripping from his temples and a hole in his head. A bomb goes off at the base of the Ferris wheel and many are knocked to the ground by the force of the blast, others have their clothes catching on fire. Everyone who wasn’t caught in the impact runs away. Soon the area around you is engulfed in flames, and the wheel collapses to the ground with a thud. Dazai has come running back to you and holds his arm out in front of you to stop you from moving forward. A man has appeared in front of the ruin of the wheel. He is still and laughing.

"No… Not this." You mutter, glaring at him. You start to get closer but Dazai holds your shoulders.

"no, no, Y/n, not now. You can't with her. We have to go." he says in a serious tone, gesturing towards the little girl who is now in tears.

"What? No way! I have to-" you pause for a moment, looking at the child's red face and shaking your head. You can't let go of him, but you can't use your ability with your hands full. "No way!" You repeat as you forcefully shove the child into his arms and run towards the man, now on the run.

Dazai grabs her and remains frozen, staring into her tear-filled eyes. He remains still for several moments, then turns to look at you and sees you activate the ability. The little girl screams and clings to the edges of his coat, and suddenly he feels the need to protect her. He’s not sure if it’s for her; if he were alone, if you hadn’t entrusted her to him, he’d let her go. But you put her in his arms. You trusted him. Him, the mess that he is, and you know it. I mean, he wouldn’t have trusted himself either, why do you? He puts her down and holds her hand, kneeling down next to her and trying to comfort her, waiting for you. Damn, he feels vaguely useless. He’s supposed to be helping you, right? Damn, he’s supposed to be protecting you. You have no idea how many times he’s dreamed of doing so: just another way of making his feelings for you obvious. But now, after you’ve entrusted him with a task like this, he can’t do anything. “Damn…” he mutters, slightly disappointed, still holding the child’s hand in his. Then suddenly a thought pops in his mind and his cheeks flush. He looks down at the concrete. “Oh… so that's how it be if…?” he whispers, almost dreamily. Then he smiles a little, "i'll consider this a training, then…"

He looks up again and sees you standing in front of him, a head in your hand. "oh, already done?" he smiles "quick as always~" You shrug and toss the severed head to the side.

"a piece of cake." then you ask, curious "what is it that you should consider as a training?"

He chuckles and shrugs, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and still holding the child's hand with the other. "I just thought it might be nice to have kids, in the future."

"hah!" you giggle "and with who? I thought you'd only fall in love with the woman you were going to commit the perfect suicide with."

"Plans change." he simply says.
