So, i’ve realised that a long term friend of mine is really toxic. I considered them my closest friend for 7 years, but it has come to my attention that they didn’t feel the same way. So, they would push me away. Recently they have been really rude and using me a lot. Purposely making me uncomfortable etc.

I feel numb. Perhaps, i always knew this day would come. I always thought in the back of my mind that they didn’t like me. I was just the back up when no one else was talking to them. I am used to being the background character in everyone else’s movies but… I genuinely thought I was their sidekick, their equal in their movie. Turns out, I was the character that is brought in to make their character look smarter and better.

tumblr really has gone from being an open pvp zone to being my chill little retreat from other social media sites. nobody is trying to hock NFTs. i'm not forced to hear about joe rogan. i mean i know statistically people like this and things that are even worse also exist on tumblr but it's out of sight out of mind. they aren't being forced into my view by an algorithm. it's all just among us babies
