~ In my head it’s Wanda that proposes to me

~ She’d get more romantic as your relationship progresses, so the proposal is very sweet and intimate- she’s too introverted to do it in front of everyone else, so it happens when you’re tucked away in your shared room, probably in between murmured words of love

~ On the other hand, I don’t think it’s entirely impossible that she would maybe propose after almost losing you in battle. She’d clutch your face in desperation and push her forehead against yours, Sokovian prayers dropping from her lips. Next thing you know she’s wrapped around you and begging you to be with her always and to marry you. It’s only after her tears subside does she realize you’re laughing and saying yes over and over against her neck.

~ However it happens, please PLEASE KEEP IT FROM TONY FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN. He will turn your wedding into some overly obnoxious shindig that puts the Kardashians to shame

~ Steve is safe. He offers to escort you both to possible venues to make sure nobody tries to scam you or gets rude to his two favorite ladies. Nat knew beforehand (she noticed Wanda’s repeatedly failed attempts to get your ring size) and her only stipulation as MOH is that the dress color doesn’t clash with her red hair.

~ As for the ring itself, I think Wanda would of course get you something you like, but I do picture a more delicate/thin ring. Maybe even one that has wines wrapped around the vine. It may be a little cliche to get a ruby or another red stone, but I think it would be cute! That, or I could also see her picking a stone based on its magical properties! Like maybe a moonstone, which is meant to promote inspiration and strength.

~ As the wedding gets closer and you start making more wedding party plans, you notice Wanda getting very quiet and withdrawn. Finally you manage to get some one on one time and she admits that she used to imagine Pietro walking down the aisle since her dad had died, but now he was gone too and she realized how much of her life he was missing. There’s no magical fix here- you know Vision or Steve will walk her down without hesitation, but that won’t fix the pain she’s feeling. So you just hold her as she cries and tell her it’ll be okay and that you know somehow Pietro knows how far his twin has come.

~ You’re a little surprised by her deviation from tradition when she asks if you can see each other for the first time in private and walk down together. When you question it, she just smiles and says that she can’t imagine walking with anyone else anymore. You both cry and hug a lot

~ Wanda knows when you get a little overwhelmed and is quick to comfort you and fill your head with lovely images of what she sees for your special day.

~ FLOWERS. SO. MANY. FLOWERS. MY SEXUALITY IS WANDA WITH A FLOWER CROWN, SO FIGHT ME. YOU WILL WEAR MATCHING OR COMPLEMENTARY FLOWER CROWNS 

~ Wanda’s wedding dress is flowy and simple, looks like something a faerie or wood nymph would wear. You both choose your own style, but make sure they complement each other by forcing Pepper to come with you both on your separate appointments. Tony blames you when she proceeds to force him into a ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ marathon in prepartion!

~ Tony also nearly loses his shit when he finds out that you two have picked a simple and elegant venue in a forest- it’s exactly what Wanda had always pictured for a natural, sweet environment. When he sees you both surrounded by flowers and lanterns, your feet and souls bare to one another, he can’t help but admit that it’s pretty perfect.

~ You pay a ridiculous amount of money to have several kinds of Sokovian flowers imported and planted for the ceremony. Wanda cries for days.

~ She somehow tracks down the band that played at your parent’s wedding. You cry for days.

~ You both write your own vows and go on and on, and you make everybody cry because you’re both so in love with one another. Wanda especially makes you cry when she talks about how many realities she’s seen where she is lost because you aren’t with her.

~ You two totally wind up forgetting everything else and kissing waaaaaaaaaay before you’re told to.

~ Perez Hilton leaked pictures of you kissing in your wedding dresses and Twitter broke

~ You both incorporate your abilities in your wedding, to show that you’re proud of your strength. It’s a big deal for Wanda in particular so you hold her hand as she uses her abilities to light the candles and lanterns that cover your reception tables. She turns to you, the red light flickering across her face and illuminating her ethereal beauty, and she’s not prepared for you to jump and kiss her so enthusiastically 

~ The honeymoon is an entire month on a secluded island that Tony owns. There’s literally no one there, so the two of you have plenty of time together ;) Celebrating your marriage occurs both in water and on land (and even in the air after Wanda manages to suspend you off a cliff)

~ You two fall asleep in the sand several times and poor Wanda experiences her first sunburn and it’s so cute you almost coo over here while rubbing her down with aloe (which leads to very gentle ‘celebrating’)

~ Marriage life with Wanda is pretty much the same, except for this oddly deep feeling that, somehow, the two of you are permanently bonded. It’s hard to explain, but you feel actually tied together, anchored to one another, and it’s wonderful

~ She loves to hold your left hand in hers and see your rings next to one another

~ Tony gives you two your own floor since you’re now a unit, and you soend many nights reclaiming your new space and old furniture as a married couple ;)

~ Wanda keeps referring to you as her wife because she loves reminding herself of the fact

A/N: (This takes place in the first Thor film!)

The throne room was empty except for you and your prince, but the air between you was heavy and thick as if filled by a crowd of people. As usual, he looked cool, calm, and collected as he sat on his illegitimate throne- the perfect visage of grace under pressure. However, you had known Loki enough to recognize the subtle giveaways (the slight flaring of his nostrils and the mounting tension in his shoulders) that showed the true feelings bubbling under the surface.

“I asked you, Loki.” Your voice finally broke the tense silence and the prince's gaze on you wavered for a moment.

“I asked you if you knew anything about what happened, and you said no. You lied to me. Thor is gone because of you, and your father-”

“He is not my father.” Loki jumped to his feet with a snarl, advancing on you quickly. “Have you not yet heard of my true parentage? Had you any idea that you loved a monster?”

You were quick to scoff, turning away from him so he couldn't see the tears you were blinking back.

“It is your choices, my love, that make you a monster.” The bitterness in your voice had him wincing internally but his face remained as still as stone. “The identity of your father is merely a technicality.”

“'My choices', as you say... You mean the choices made for me, as the youngest son? I had no choice, darling. I had to do this to fix it, fix everything.”

“You have fixed nothing! Nothing! There are frost giants in the palace, hungry for our blood! Your brother-” He went to speak, but your glare cut him off. “-Is trapped on Midgard. Your mother is sobbing in absolute grief while your father drifts through Odinsleep. What, pray tell, what has this fixed?!”

“I have taken back my birthright. My throne, my title, my right to rule as king.” Loki walked over to you as he spoke, gripping your arms too tightly and staring you down with a manic gaze and matching sneer. “All of that which is mine is now also yours, my darling. You can have anything and everything you wish. Odin would have had you marry that big oaf, that poor excuse for a king, but now you can still be mine. I did this for us!”

You were frozen in his arms, absorbing all he said in disbelief. Desperately searching for a lie in his emerald eyes, your tears finally began to fall when you found none.

“You... did this for me? All this, for me?” He smiled for a moment before you started to squirm violently against him. Your small hands slapped against his leather clad chest until he allowed you to step away.

Choking on your own gasps and sobs, you backed away from your prince slowly. You committed his image to your memory in that brief second before whispering a farewell. He lunged forward to catch you, but you teleported away using the trick he himself had taught you to keep you safe.

The Piano Man - Drabble

Warnings: failed attempt at seduction, adorably confused angels

It wasn't very often that you got the bunker to yourself. You spent most days with the Winchesters hunting or looking for information on the villain of the week, and the occasional off day had you more or less babysitting the boys to keep them out of trouble. For once, however, they had left you to your own devices and you fully intended to take advantage of it.

Of the many, many rooms of the bunker, your favorite was the one with the spotless white piano. The first time you guys stumbled upon it you had to excuse yourself so they didn't see the tears it inspired. Seeing it made you think of your mother and all the time the two of you had spent together in her music room, before she was dragged away by ghouls when you were twelve. Each note felt like a beautiful homage to her and it had always been one of your biggest regrets that you couldn't play more for her.

As your fingers danced across the keys to the tune of “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, you heard the distinctive rustle of feathers as your favorite angel appeared next to you. He glanced at you curiously and opened his mouth to say something, but he must have remembered past scoldings from you and stayed quiet until the last note rang through the air.

“Hey Castiel, how are you?” You turned gracefully on the bench and smiled warmly at him.

“Hello.” He returned your grin, his blue eyes shining. “I am well, and you?”

“Very well,” Hesitating, you added quietly, “I missed you though, Cas.”

It took the angel a second to respond, a little concerned about how fast his vessel's heart was beating. He swallowed thickly before answering just as softly.

“I missed you too... Very much so. I thought of you often.”

You two just sat there staring at each other with goofy smiles for a few seconds before you glanced back down at the piano, already missing the music.

“Would you like me to play you something?” You gestured to the keys as his brows furrowed. “I have a lot of different sheet music if you'd like to pick something out too.”

He nodded carefully, still eyeing the piano as you got up to look through your books in the desk behind you. Dean had once made him watch a movie where, in a particular scene, a woman had climbed up atop it while a man played it. The man seemed to be very interested in the movement for some reason, he had noted, so much so that he had kissed the woman senseless right there. He asked Dean what it was about the musical box that made the woman so attractive, but Dean had just laughed at him.

You trailed your fingers across spine after spine of music collection until you stumbled upon one with hits of the 80's. Covering a mouth to hide a giggle at your own silliness, you pulled out the sheet music for “Angel of the Morning”, thinking he'd appreciate the joke. You paused for a second considering how the song was kind of romantic, but then again you and Castiel had always been a little more romantic than platonic... Maybe the nudge wouldn't hurt. Turning around to tell him what you chose, your voice died in your throat and you froze as you took in the scene before you.

Castiel had swung himself on top of the piano somehow, the edges of his trench coat trailing over the sides. He laid on his back with one leg bent up, his foot popping up on the heel. He had one hand awkwardly twisted back so it was curled into his own hair. The other flopped to the side and hit a few keys on the way down. It took you a few seconds of watching him do an awkward twisting motion for you to realize he was attempting to arch his back up off of the wood in, what you would guess to be, a sexual motion. Cas glanced pleadingly at you, as if asking for your thoughts. You just kept staring, open-mouthed and completely silent thanks to the spectacle before you.

“Hmm... This did not work like I thought it would.” He looked very genuinely disappointed for a moment. “Perhaps those heeled shoes she wore would have helped.”

Goodbye Bruce - Drabble

Alfred watched quietly as Master Bruce puttered around the kitchen, fingers tapping and touching nearly everything without settling. They both knew he was just stalling time until he had no choice but to face the music upstairs. He ran his fingers across the toaster one last time before sighing, turning around to face his friend.

“I suppose I should go tell her I’m back.” He leaned against the spotless marble counter-top and drummed his fingers mindlessly against it. Alfred merely fixed him with a knowing look and nodded slightly. Bruce gave one final tap to the edge and bid him good night.

He opened the bedroom door almost silently, only to be greeted by a scowl as you switched on the light. You were curled up in his desk chair on the farthest side of the room. He knew you’d been up for a while thanks to the nearly empty mug of tea in your hands. The two of you studied one another for a brief moment- him taking note of the way your hair curled around your face and how well you filled out his shirt that you had stolen for bed, you feeling bad over his exhausted expression yet getting angrier as you realized he also looked just as guilty as you knew he had to be.

“It’s midnight.” You were the first to break the silence. “Where the hell were you?”

Bruce sighed and ruffled his hair, turning from you and beginning to undress for bed.

“I had business to attend to, you kn-”

“Business? At this hour?” You nearly laughed at the pathetic excuse. “Do you think I’m that stupid?”

He turned around and fixed you with a patronizing look that made you feel like a kid again.“Of course I don’t think you’re stupid. It’s just- It’s complicated, okay?”

“Everything with you is complicated, Bruce. Women who date you should be offered a manual upon first contact.” You quickly swallowed the remaining dregs of your cold tea before setting it down and moving to your boyfriend.

Bruce relaxed the moment your hands met his back, sliding around from behind to help unbutton his shirt and pull it away from his shoulders. You went to push up his undershirt as well but he gripped your hands and gently pulled them away. If you saw the bruises spreading across his ribs, courtesy of Penguin, he knew he wouldn't be able to dodge your questions.

You stood there for a moment, staring at his back in confusion as he gripped your wrists tight enough to keep you still. The anger that had ebbed away when you touched him came rushing back full force, accompanied by hot angry tears that refused to fall.

He was surprised but complied when you yanked yourself away from him and walked over to your side of the bed. You yanked off his shirt so you could put on your own clothes- the shimmery dress that had gotten you many compliments just hours ago at the gala.

“Babe, what are you-”

“No.” That's all you said as you clipped your bra into place and began shimmying into the tight little number. He was quiet for a moment, so you continued. “No. You need to tell me right now what's going on. I don't think you're a cheater, Bruce, even though that's exactly what this looks like. But you're lying to me about something. I don't want to spend my whole life in the dark, so you need to clear it up right now.”

He made a move to help you zip up out of habit, but you gracefully dodged him and squirmed around until you managed to get it yourself. You stood there, shoes in hand, waiting for him to say anything.

For just a moment, Bruce actually considered telling you. You'd stuck around longer than anyone else. You'd seen and heard plenty of weird, living in Gotham your whole life. The trust he had in you was unshakable, and that was amazing on its own. What's the worst that could happen?

But then he pictured you battered and broken, surrounded by the Penguin's henchmen. He watched the Riddler dangle you over a vat of acid as he threw random bat trivia at him. The worst was when he watched the Joker bring his crowbar down on you over and over again, blood flying into the air as you tried to scream in pain but all you could do was laugh hysterically thanks to the gas.

“Bruce...” Your voice brought him out of his reverie, your lovely, musical voice. You stared at him, willing your tears to stay back a little bit longer. “I can't do this anymore with you, do you understand?”

After a moment of silence, all he could say was, “I'm sorry.”

You couldn't help but stare at him with wide eyes. Unbelievable. He couldn't be honest with you, after all this time. Closing your mouth and squaring your shoulders, you slipped your heels onto your feet and strode past him to the door. You picked your purse and coat up off the floor, but not before sparing him one last glance. He looked much older and frail in that moment, and you actually felt a great swell of pity for him.

“Good bye, Mr. Wayne. I hope you find whatever you're looking for.” With that you walked away from him.
