Tomorrow is the day that one of my dreams comes true. I never would’ve thought I would be able to achieve creating a video game that took aspects of my childhood and put it forward for a new generation to enjoy.

Feral Forest has been a passion project for the last couple years and it has been the most fulfilling experience I could have ever asked for. There were many times that were challenging and I know there will be more down the road, but every challenge taught me something.

I’ve been an animator since I was 9 or 10, making little cartoons with my brother and hoping that people would one day see the joy in the work we made. Everything was silly, but it served a more important purpose of nurturing that creativity that kids have in their hearts. Everyone has a dream, they either chase it or get lost somewhere along the way and forget about it or have to put it down. It makes me want to cry knowing that after working my butt off for almost two decades, the fruit of my inner child will be enjoyed by many and you’ll be able to play through an experience that honors my childhood and the special people and pets in my life.

The other guy that I’m working with on this project unfortunately lost his best buddy Mason during the production of the game. We all have pets and family members that are important and shape the way we are and play the biggest roles in our lives as parts of our families, and Feral Forest is one way to honor them.

If you have kids, pets, or just want to enjoy something that was made with love, passion, and a hint of nostalgia, Feral Forest is here for you.
