i alr briefly introduced him ages ago but i'll redo his intro (but 💥better)

Joshua Anthony 'Anton' Ruiz Sanchez

late teens to early/mid 20's (depending on when you catch him, but usually i'd say he's 21/22)

Half human, half incubus

Both of his parents were also half demons, his mother being half succubus and half filipino, while his father is half argentine and half incubus

The earlier eras of his origin are a bit difficult to map out because there are two versions that i particularly liked

the one I usually go with is he escaped hell when he was around seven and ended up in modern day london

the other one is that his family escaped hell when he was one and lived in spain for two years before his parents were exorcised and killed (right in front of him too!)

this is a bit complicated to explain, but because they were kinda in hiding, they diguised themselves as a christian/catholic (whichever one is more predominant in spain) family and attended church on sundays. well, they (his parents) were found out and he ended up as an orphan for some time. this is kinda where my universe splits into dc or bsd universes, but ill infodump those later

this is actually the aroace character i was talking about on my examples post.

he has a diffuculty understanding where exactly he lies on that spectrum, so he remains aroace unlabelled (idk how to describe that part)

he doesn't experience much sexual ot romanctic attraction despite the fact that he is an incubus, which is ironic

in fact, most of his existance is completely ironic

as for gender, i had three paths for how this went bc a) i didn't know what i liked more, and b) because i can and i also don't care whats in his pants a signed polaroid of conan gray, wait where did you get this?!

the one i thought was the best fit for him was a trans man, but the realisation for him was a lil silly

as a child he usually had his hair short and he wore what boys normally wore

he didnt mind ofc bc he thought it was normal

after his parents died and he was found (dcu) by john constantine

yeah, i kinda made him constantines lil hellion

he looked like a boy so thats what he got raised as

demon anatomy is different to humans, but still pretty similar (im not expanding on that, but unless anton takes up his demon form, he looks like a regular human)

that pretty much goes for both universes

anyway, when his body started changing, he panicked bc he didn't look like the other boys

thats when john realised his mistake but not mistake and then ended up starting to raise him like a girl

which anton didnt like for obvious reasons

then he learned that he could actually change his physical body thanks to his demonic ability, so he managed to pass as a guy (oh to feel that euphoria)

when i talk about his tattoos later, the meaning of some would probably make a little more sense with this story

my second favourite idea would probably be genderfluid anton as in he can take different standard forms because why not

i did imply that demons (specifically incubi/succubi) can manipulate their bodies to how they (or their partner if applicable) desire

so using that, anton would be like "HAHA, I STOLE YOUR GENDER!"

my idea of him is very chaotic and i love him

the last one, which i don't really like as much, but is still noteworthy is just him being a pure cisgender man

being happy with life

honestly, full demon form, 6'6 (198 cm) is his maximum height

for his human forms however, min height is 5'5 (165 cm), avg height is 5'7 or 5'8 (170-172 cm) and max height is 6'2 (188 cm)

he likes using his max human height most often because he likes being tall

my boy is tanned, ofc he is he has hispanic blood

however, his hair is dyed blond and he is too lazy to touch up his roots so he just has blonde hair with brown roots

its surprisingly soft and fluffy tho

he has pretty brown eyes as a human

this is all as a human btw, ill get into his demon looks soon

he has dimples

freckles too

idk what else to describe about him

he's got a relatively large build. not stocky, but he's like a jacked twink. a twunk.

however, his demon form is a WHOLE different story

he's literally 6'6 my dude more scary than human him

idc that i alr said that, it needs another mention

his eyes are so diff too

like the white part of your eyes (the sclera) is black and his irises are golden. he has black pupils tho.

now his hair is black a spiky and medium short cut or smth

i was thinking similar to tetchou or ranpos hair

speaking of tetchou and ranpo, i love them

hes still kinda tan but quite a lot paler

lacking vitamin d fr

hes also skinnier

but hes a lot stronger in this form

basically if kenji met the hulk met superman

im exaggerating

he no got freckles in this form

however pretty teeth

he has more prominent canines

the tip of his tail is heart shaped

if any of you had a gacha phase it looks like that one tail that was pretty much a line and a heart

his wings are like that of a fallen angel

large, black, feathery, very pretty

thats a pretty basic description

theres probably some blue and gold specks in there too

he has small demon horns that kinda blend into his hair

on his chest, ankle, hip, shoulder blade and wrist

he has a broken arrow on his chest over his heart but i forgot the reason, mb

his right forearm has a bunch of cherry blossoms and butterflies in blue and pink

i lwk wanted it too

bc it symbolises him being trans (if you go w that one)

he has one on his hip that has hyacinths and cherry blossoms

this symbolises his attraction to men (kinda)

bc i was inspired by the story of apollo and hyacinthus for that tattoo

he has a semicolon on his shoulderblade

mostly bc he keeps almost dying (usually from hell related things)

lastly he has a broken bow on his ankle

it would have been better if it was the arrow

but wtv he has it as an inspiration from achilles

also hes achillean

his tats are on his human and demon skin

hes aro/aspec but not sure where since hes also achillean

but he does like women too but not as much

so he usually just says hes unlabelled

but they pretty much aren't close

if i had to give him a romance arc id probably make him have a minor one with jason bc bro is a SUCKER for green eyes and (cough) muscular men (cough cough)

Headcanons/Theories I came up with in the shower (BSD)

has anyone ever noticed how the characters trauma is linked to their ability in some way? or yt heir person, idk how to explain, but i'll use a few examples

either its their ability, or another work by their irl author counterparts

tachihara's ability, midwinter memento

midwinter, the coldest (theoretically) time of the year

emptiness can also feel cold

'memento' meaning souvenir, or a reminder

both of which could be about his brother

whom he has a similar ability to

this 'souvenir' could be a trait (their ability) or his brother's dog tag

when his brother died, tachihara became empty, and you can't compete with a dead person

So he tried being different to his brother to avoid comparison

fukuchi's ability mirror lion

'lion' representing a leader. a commander with bravery and honour

however a mirror is only made of 'glass' (and metal, but also, who cares?)

the reflection shown is but a sorry illusion that you can't change

no matter how hard you distort the picture, it's still your tainted hands

chuuya being the tainted sorrow in his irl counterpart's poem (havent read it yet though, so its taken from the title)

chuuya, no matter how often he tries, will always be a second choice

'tainted sorrow' for distraught. in despair to the point which you can't stand

numbness to pain you forgot existed

chuuya's ability is like a letter to the self

he IS the tainted sorrow

he IS the second choice

yall ever think that chuuya doesn't actually "abuse" his subordinates, or even just those that are younger than him? i personally think that he actually has a soft spot for kids due to the fact that he was previously with the sheep. he has never been shown to beat up kids under the mafia and the only one he ever really "beat up" was kenji, and that honestly wasn't much of a beat up. plus kenji admired him (and in the spin off wan! they literally hung out and he even said he'd treat him)
