At the end of the day, is kin just someone who identifies as their kintype or not? Is it anyone who actually identifies as their kintype, or do they have to perform all these 'correct' behaviours and social dances to prove that you kin- pardon, that you are kin- correctly?
#beep boop#sorry i got fucking salty on this last one bc its fucking annoying people reblogging a version of that post with dumb misinformation about#how introjects work and whoes entire argument is 'well kin as a verb doesnt work for literally everyone therefore you should stop using it#person who it works for'#when my partner and i both already took down why thats a bad argument but no one bothers to check the fucking notes#and its most useful for fictionkin anyways and then a bunch of dragons and canines are saying well i dont have a use for it#so therefore its bad!#on his post about how HE PERSONALLY USES IT and people turning into like hes commenting that eveyrbody and their dog should use it#LEABVE HIM ALONE#LEAVE VALENTINO ALONE#sorry. i dont mind discussion but it pisses me off when shit we already explained is being ignored#And saying you wouldnt invalidate someone for using it while coming onto someones post about how they personally use it#and admonishing them for doing that#hm.#and this tying back to my very origional post on the topic#which was about how coming at people for how they talk makes the community hostile#regarudless of if you like it or not#can you . consider. minding your bees neez?#and everybody all up about the harm kff do meanwhile using kin as a verb doesnt make you kff and you can spread correct info while still#verbing it#and second of all i have seen new questioning otherkin literally harassed and driven out of wanting to every interact with the kin communit#because of the hostility twoards people who use 'incorrect' lanauge#WHIHC WAS WHAT I WAS ORIGIONALLY TALKING ABOUT#BUT NO ONE WANTS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT DO THEY?#IS DOING DAMADGE TO HE KINMUNNITY SUDDENLY NOT IMPORTANT NOW#IF YOU DONT GET TO GO AROUND AND ENFORCE SOME RULES?#kin discourse#kin as a verb#anyways if you encourage people to be alowed to police behaviour in this way#which is what you are doing if youre saying no one should be allowed to do it which is what the argument people are making is

keep in mind that i'm using the words "(in)valid" and "(un)sound" here in their formal logic senses: a valid argument is one where the conclusion follows from the premises. a sound argument both is valid AND has evidence to support the truth of its premises. even if an argument is logically valid, it's not sound if you can't support the truth of the premises; and even if you have evidence for the premises, an invalid argument won't be sound either.
the reason it's so important to stay away from conspiratorial language is twofold:
one, it's literally just not even useful because it's fundamentally bad logic,
and two, if you don't fill in a specific value for the actor, someone else is very likely to fill one in for you, and that's one of the easiest ways to radicalize someone. if you're already primed to look for a target for your blame, all that a malicious actor has to do is aim you at their favorite target.
and to be crystal clear: being radicalized is BAD. antisemitism—because let's be honest, it always ends up turning into antisemitism sooner or later—is BAD. we do not want these things. they are the tools of very dangerous people whom we do not want to be like or be around. therefore we must avoid giving those tools and the people who use them a foothold in our discourse. conspiratorial language can very easily become such a foothold; therefore, we ought to steer clear of it.

Dick: Have you ever doubted that I love you?
Bruce: …
——
It wasn’t a fight. At least it didn’t really feel like all those usual fights, and Bruce was pretty sure it wasn’t a fight. But then again, he’s always been wrong in guessing about his children.
Dick seems… distant. Distant but still close. Usually when Dick wants to be distant, he leaves. His children are very good at leaving and not telling him where they are. He always knows, though, he’s Batman.
Bruce doesn’t remember any scathing words being exchanged between them. No heated glares, heavy air, stilted conversations. Nothing that usually promises an argument is to come or has passed without Bruce realizing it.
But for some reason, Dick was still lingering around the hallways. If Bruce turned around, he would see his eldest child standing around the edges, his body tense, and a perturbed expression on his face. Just watching him, waiting for a moment that Bruce was honestly scared to come.
It was starting to worry Bruce. His baby has always been a bright and shining star, even when he doesn’t want to be.
But Bruce also knew that if he tried to pry, he would only push Dick away. After many years of trail and errors, Bruce decided the best course of action would be to let Dick figure it out himself or come to Bruce on his own.
Strangely enough, it didn’t take very long for Dick to come into his study, his face trying and failing to adopt a calm and nonchalant expression as he sat in the edge of his desk.
“Hey B…” Dick said lowly, fiddling with one of the snow globes he had on his desk. Bruce had gotten that specific one from Dick when they first visited Zitka at the zoo when he was nine and Dick had begged to get something from the gift shop.
“Dick.” Bruce nodded, setting down his pen and giving his son his full attention.
Dick let out a shuddering sigh and set down the snow globe. Bruce’s hands twitched with the urge to fix it and set it straight, but then Dick turned the globe and moved it to the exact position that he liked.
Bruce couldn’t help the small twitch of his lips. He was probably being too obvious, Dick most likely remembers the several panic attacks he had when Dick was a child, unable to process and handle when his prized possessions were askew. He worked on it. He's fine now.
“I heard something pretty interesting… from Jay.” Dick started haltingly, his eyes staring deeply into Bruce’s. “You guys had a pretty… deep convo recently… right?”
Bruce felt stupid. A deep conversation? He’s assuming that Dick means an emotionally charged conversation but he truly doesn’t remember anything like that happening recently.
“Okay, okay, I can see you racking your brain, so I’ll just tell you,” Dick said, grabbing his Dad’s hands and holding them in his own. Bruce hadn’t even noticed when he started digging his fingernails into the flesh of his arm, close to drawing blood.
Shit. He always fucking does this. Making Dick worry and take care of him like he was an invalid incompetent manchild.
“Sorry.”
“It’s fine, I’m used to it.” Dick murmured causing Bruce to purse his lips together silently. “Seriously, it’s okay B. I know why you are the way you are. There’s nothing wrong with you.”
Bruce nodded silently because it was easier to do so than argue why he should’ve already grown out of his childish habits. You’d think having the media point out his self inflected scars when he was 12 would’ve kicked him out of the habit already…
“What was it that you wanted to talk to me about? I don’t remember any particularly deep conversation with Jason.” Bruce rumbled, tilting his head to the side when Dick’s nose scrunched in annoyance.
“Of course you don’t, just like Jay said…” Dick huffed under his breath. “Okay, let’s just… blurt it out. Get it over with.”
Dick seemed to try and hype himself up, squeezing Bruce’s hands tightly before releasing and continuing the action a few more times.
“Jason said that you think that we hate you, but like, I really don’t know where that came from, and I’m just super confused because I don’t think I’ve said it that often, and yeah I’ve said it, I probably shouldn’t have, really shouldn’t have since you think that I hate you, well you think that all of us-“
“Chum.” Bruce stopped his son’s rapid word vomit with one word, his eyes crinkled with fondness and amusement as he squeezed Dick’s hands back. “Sweetheart, I didn’t understand a single word you just said. Slow down for me, okay?”
Dick took large gulps of air, his face burning with embarrassment as he squeezed his eyes shut. “Right! Right duh, I just- ugh…”
Bruce absentmindedly trailed his eyes over Dick’s face, so much older than when he had last seen him. Maybe a little gaunt… he’ll make Dick some brownies, the ones he used to make when Dick was smaller. Maybe they could watch a movie later, anything that would get DIck to fall asleep.
“Dad…” Dick breathed softy, making Bruce’s heart race. Uh oh, why was this a Dad moment? Did Dick want something?
“Jason came to me and he told me that… you think that I… we hate you. Do you?”
Bruce let out a confused hum. Was that the important conversation he had? Bruce didn’t feel like it was an important conversation; it had been mostly resolved by the time Jason decided to leave. Well, Bruce felt as though it had been resolved.
“… you said it,” Bruce said slowly. The last time he said that, Jason had gone silent and stared at Bruce with a horrified expression before hugging him. It was a nice hug, so Bruce guessed he had read his second son’s expression wrong, and it was all okay in the end.
“No, B, I could… I could never…” Dick’s throat dried up. Why couldn’t he just force the full sentence out? 'No, I don't hate you.' Why does his tongue feel like it's a million pounds? Why do his lips refuse to move?
Bruce hummed sympathetically and nodded his head, like he understood, like he could sort through the mess in Dick’s mind. Bruce had always had an uncanny way of peering into all of their minds when it was the most jumbled, and yet, he was getting it completely wrong this time.
“It’s okay. I’m not mad. It makes perfect sense.” Bruce nodded, having the fucking audacity to pretend that it did make sense. Like Dick hating him was perfectly normal, like living in a house and caring for people who he thinks hate him is nothing out of the ordinary.
“Wha-? No, Bruce, it’s not supposed to make sense!” Dick ran a hand through his hair, carelessly ripping through the knots and tangles, barely feeling the pain radiating from his scalp. The one in his chest hurt a fuckton more.
Bruce chewed on his lower lip, unable to dig his fingernails into the palm of his hand, he settled for digging the heel of his foot against the dorsum of his other, still bruised painfully from a rough night of crime fighting alone.
“What did I do wrong this time?” Bruce asked, wanting to know why Dick was here and why he seemed so… distraught. Not even angry, which was somehow worse.
He had to have done something wrong, after all, both DIck and Jason had come to him separately to rehash this same old conversation. Something must have happened.
That, for some reason, seemed to be the wrong thing to say.
“Dad, you know we love you… right…?” Dick whispered quietly. “You know that I love you, right?” Dick tried to grin, hoping that he would see his father’s face transform into a smile, to hear his deep chuckle of amusement, to listen to his Dad say ‘yes, of course I know that you love me, that you all love me.’
But it never came.
Bruce was quiet. No he was completely silent, staring at his son with a truly baffled expression that Dick has only seen very few times in his life. Like the words coming out of his son’s mouth were such an obvious lie, and he was trying to figure out why he was lying right to his face. Like Dick's love was such an unreachable object for him that there was no way he could already have it.
No no no no no no-
“Dad-!” Dick choked on a sudden sob, forcefully tearing its way out of his throat without his permission. “Please! Tati please! You have to know that I love you!”
Bruce swallowed and slowly extracted his hands from Dick’s grip, well, he tried to. Dick held on tight, steadfastly refusing to let go. “Dick, sweetheart, let me get you a cup of water. I don’t know why you’re crying, but I promise we can figure it out together. I’ll be right back, I swear.” Bruce said, his voice giving away how stressed he was in this situation.
Dick desperately clawed at his Dad’s hands, trying to stop him from leaving, but somehow Bruce escaped his hold. He always escapes his grasp.
As Bruce quickly fled the room, Dick slid down off Bruce’s desk and onto the floor, curling up into hisself. Trying to hide away from the shame and horror that was threatening to explode from his body.
How could this have happened? When had he stopped telling his Dad that he loved him? When had Bruce stopped believing him?
Dick tugged harshly on his hair and wailed, waiting for Bruce to come back.

ONE THING ABOUT BEING THE QUEEN OF DELUSIONS? IT GIVES YOU A LONG WAY TO FALL
p.s. this post isn’t pretty, it wasn’t worth my time, or effort.
Hey Upper East Siders. Gossip girl here. Usually i’m here to help you fix your life, but @loaisacult, this one’s for you. And I can’t name any upper east siders more desperate than, well…you. It’s pitiful I know. But you can cry about it later, if you haven’t ran out of tears already, that is.
I don’t mean to start a fight, but there’s a weak link in every chain, and it just happens to be you.
I know you express your belief in the law of assumption being a cult. The funny thing is, when people don’t like something, they usually walk away, unless it bothers them that much. And the even funnier thing is, you complain about bloggers “preaching” the law of assumption, and getting others to follow. But what are you doing? Preaching your ideologies, in hopes that others will follow you too. Oh what’s that word again…hypocritical was it?
And oh sweetie, no one cares about your irrelevant opinions enough to affirm “@loaisacult doesn’t exist, @loaisacult doesn’t exist…” Talk about a weak argument. I hope law isn’t your major. But you know what is major? Your idiocy.
Calling people on this app suicidal? Pathetic. Although I can’t tell you that isn’t true. Because to some extent, it is. And i’d agree with you if you weren’t so ignorant. But I guess changing self in terms other than just loa isn’t your cup of tea. Bloggers are not meant to be personal therapists for people in the loacommunity. And yes there are and were previously some bloggers who would get suicidal asks from anons and just respond to them to persist. But why are you generalising EVERYONE in the community? Your point is immediately invalid. So because there were some immoral bloggers who would act that way automatically means that the whole entire practise of the law of assumption is a CULT? Hello? Do you hear yourself?
Let’s use your “logic” here. Say gossip girl makes a post telling her followers to worship satan. Therefore the whole entire loa community must ALL be satanists! Now how ridiculous is that…
Yes there are liars, everywhere. Oh i’m sorry, did that come as a surprise to you? You didn’t think the world was rainbows and sunshine did you? Well unless you assume it is. But at the same time, there are honest people too. Yet you like to pick and choose what to focus on. Look me in my virtual eyes and tell me that Lady gaga isn’t one of the most famous people on the planet. Oh wait..you can’t! News flash, she manifested that. And so did many of your other favourites. Yet you choose to focus on liars, because that’s what you want to believe. Of course a close minded, one sided argument is your way to go. Disregard everything else in the process why don’t you.
“It's ironic how some boast about manifesting luxury items like Lamborghinis, which could easily be rented, yet they fail to manifest meaningful change for their followers who are in abusive situations.” - l.o.s.e.r
B-b-but didn’t you say that you used to be a big blogger? So why didn’t you attempt to do the same? (As if! it would only work if they assumed so). But honestly, you don’t sound like someone who is educated on the law, you sound like those desperate anons in bloggers inboxes asking bloggers to manifest for them. Because why is that the point you used? To manifest for followers? Were you…one of those…followers? Talk about holding a grudge. No wonder why you’re so mad. If I had a dime for how many times you got rejected i’d be a millionaire.
“Want to prove to your followers who are spiraling about the American election rather than post persist hehehee how about you manifest for them….. change the election revise life’s an illusion while you’re crying about having your rights taken away lol but you can’t.” - l.o.s.e.r
Run upper east siders, we’ve got an idiot on our hands. Making a point on something completely false. If you really understood the law, you’d know that you can’t manipulate somebody else’s reality, unless they assume you can. But it’s not to my surprise that you didn’t know that, of all people. Last time I checked, it’s YOUR imagination, and nobody else’s. So WHY would YOUR 3D reflect THEIR imagination? And you claim to be a blogger educated on the law…quite a “big” one too. I cant name any “big” bloggers who’ve misinformed the law THAT bad. Talk about liars now…
At this point, it’s PAINFULLY obvious that you were one of those anons begging bloggers to manifest for you. Because you’re SO mad that bloggers don’t do that for people. They can’t really because it depends on your assumption. I’m not even making an invalid point here. It’s just so obvious. “Want to prove to your followers.” “how about you manifest for them” 😭 I’m literally in tears because of how funny this is. I’m sorry that no blogger has proven it to you or manifested “for you”, and you’ve carried that hatred with you and projected it onto the whole loa community. And the only reason you continue to believe that the law of assumption is real (rightfully so) is because you know that there’s way too much proof of it to even attempt to dismiss it without looking like a fool. And maybe a fraction of that belief comes from your hope, because without the law, everything you’d ever hoped for would be out the window.
In short, you make points about “why don’t you manifest for your followers 🥺” Well, I don’t know if you knew this but…there’s this concept called free will. And just because someone chooses to not do something, doesn’t mean they can’t. Is common sense just not part of the package for you? It seems the point flies right over your head faster than you can catch it, and the only thing that doesn’t land, are your “points”.
But if you still don’t understand me, let’s use a little bit of your so -called logic here.
‘Loa is real manifesting is real shifting is real but most people in this community lie and are culty 99.999% of the stories here are lies the people doing that shit don’t even post abt it probably think they’re in some dream most of the success here are creative writing and living in the end.” - l.o.s.e.r
From YOUR logic, couldn’t I just ask you to manifest that the liars don’t exist and that you no longer view the law of assumption as a cult? So why haven’t you…? You’ll ask anyone questions but yourself. And if they think it was a dream…then how did they send their success stories to bloggers? Did I miss an update because last time I checked, you can’t do that in a dream. See, your points are fuelled by complete hatred, not logic. You truly don’t believe what you’re telling yourself and others. Embarrassing.
And don’t get me started on how statistically IMPOSSIBLE that is. Do I even have to explain why? I promise you, thousands of people are NOT lying for the pure fun of it. That’s just not how the human mind works. Wouldn’t they rather shit on loa just like you rather than posting success stories hoping it’ll happen?I didn’t know talking out of the wrong hole was in fashion these days. But then again, not everyone has style. And if there’s one thing money can’t buy, it’s class. Was that a moth? Must’ve flewn right out of your wallet.
Now don’t get me wrong, i’m not bothered to read your whole blog and all the nonsense you cry about and debunk every little thing you say. Because trust me, common sense does the job for me.
Have fun continuing to “preach” your delusional idea of the law being a cult to yourself and your little followers. Like sheep. One after the other.
Don’t even think about trying to respond to me, as if anything you say makes sense.
P.S. I’ll delete this post later, I don’t like having drama on my blog. This is my first and last time addressing you. I just don’t want people in this community, including my lovely upper east siders to listen to idiots like you telling them that all the success stories they’ve read are fake, when that is so obviously not true. Only someone who hasn’t consciously the experienced the law for themselves would doubt others so badly, and you used to be a “big” blogger you say…The fucking audacity. But then again, it’s hard to believe in something you haven’t experienced for yourself (is it?), but at-least don’t get caught in a lie. Disrespectfully, shut your mouth and don’t open it again.
- gossip girl

The Show Itself is a Story within a Story
written by characters who exist beyond it
All roads lead to the library...
Why do I think this? What is the purpose of this twist? And most importantly… who is writing this story and why?
First off I’ll just say that I’m well aware this is an unpopular and highly controversial theory. That many say it invalids the story and would be an unsatisfying end. I understand perspectives like this. I won't be going into the arguments about whether or not this should be the ending, but rather I'm merely arguing that there is a high possibly of this actual being the ending. More specifically, the final 20 minutes of the show.
I’m well aware the writers have claimed that theories that “it was all a DnD game” are bogus. However, they have clearly lied to us many times to conceal spoilers. So, let’s try not pick and choose what they say is gospel, and what should be taken with a grain of salt.
Also, I will add that I have already made a theory post similar to this. Although I am likely wrong about many aspects of that theory, I do still agree with the general concept. This post is more of a basic summary of the framed narrative clues.
The Show Itself is Framed as a Novel
To put it very simply, the show is presented to us like a novel. Each episode is a chapter, each season a sequel, and when split they are in volumes.
Another Universe
Most of us have accepted the possibly of there being another universe beyond what we know. I agree with this. However, I believe that this universe we are seeing (the show) was created by characters within the other universe. Much like how Mike creates another universe whenever he DMs a campaign...
The world where none of this tragic stuff ever happened? Well, it definitely does exist... but... it's not "out there". Instead, that's the story we know within the show. The story that likely has a gay ending (both meanings of the word).
In other words, the story we are shown is the "watered down" story.
Finishing the Story and Changing the Ending

If you read the comics, you will find a blatant reoccurring theme of writing stories, and finishing said stories. While the comics are not necessarily canon, they remind us of the important themes of this show.

In The First Shadow play, we are reminded again of the concept of writing our own stories, and more specifically…. Changing the ending. Making the ending happy and gay.

We even had a leak reveal that El apparently says “they don’t get to write the ending, but we do.”
We also had an entire Stranger Things novel written in the format of a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book, where we, essentially, choose the ending for the characters.
This is a reoccurring concept within and beyond the show for a reason.
Frame Narratives
Within the show, we are frequently reminded of the concept of framed narratives. It is, essentially, a story within a story. Basically, there are at least two stories: the story that is the painting, and the story that exists within the frame of said painting.
The First Shadow play itself is a framed narrative, as it is a play within a play. They perform the play “Dark of the Moon” within the play itself.
We are also introduced to the concept of “memories within memories” which is a literal track on the ST4 soundtrack.
Why This Concept Fits the Themes
As most of us know, a major theme within the show is the concept of free will vs. determinism. Are we all prisoners of fate, or do we have any agency over our lives?
This theme would extend to the characters written within a novel. The author is their “God” or rather the “Puppet-master”. Perhaps the characters will take on a life of their own and persuade the author to change their ending to a happier one?
Who is Writing the Story?
This answer is simple. Which main character is a writer? Mike. He is “the heart” of the story. However, Will likely helped bring the story to life with his art.
Even way back when pitching the show as “Montauk” the writers slipped in clues within the character descriptions.

All these four boy dealt with bullying, however, only two of them utilized fantasy and imagination to “escape”/“retreat” from their lives and insecurities. Mike and Will.
Why Are They Writing the Story?
*Sign* Okay here is the difficult part to explain… the unpleasant stuff. Everyone hates this I know. Please put the pitchforks down.
Let’s go over some of the previous stuff I’ve mentioned.
A universe where none of this tragic stuff ever happened
A watered down story
Changing the ending to a happy/gay one
These all imply that the universe that exists beyond the show... is a tragic one.
To make this abundantly clear: the main story's conclusion is a happy one! However, the reason why it exists in the first place is because it was created in a universe/story with a tragic ending.
This story exists so the ending can be altered. This is the point.
So What is the Story Beyond this Story?
I... don't know exactly. But I have some ideas.
The main idea I have is that: Will passed away... for real. And he left behind his art which Mike cherishes.
Mike created this story for Will to change his ending and utilized his art as inspiration. He also utilized science as a way to explain the supernatural concepts we see.
Why do I think this? Many reasons. For one, Mike appears to constantly be battling grief throughout the show. Shifting from denial, bargaining, depression, anger but never quite reaching acceptance. He also frequently expresses his fear of losing people: mainly Will and El. PLUS, we have many references to stabbing hearts, broken hearts... and Mike himself is referred to as "The Heart". His heart is broken and ridden with grief because he actually did lose Will.
I have also previously analyzed the many letters shown within ST and how they are associated with... death, as well as a watered down story.
This all leads to...

(Yes I am plagiarizing myself here. lol.)
Now before I breakdown what I believe fits into these blanks, I want to clear up a couple of things that have been brought up before:
“This letter was just revealed to be a letter from the ST writers to us fans during ST day years ago.” Yes that is true. However, I doubt they would just post it like this if that’s all it meant. That’s pretty lame to be honest. We know they love to be vague and cryptic with their clues of what’s to come in the show, why wouldn’t they be doing that here as well? Plus this letter fits perfectly with the set up I just described. Perfectly. I’ll explain that soon.
“This is… not about a couple”. It isn't. Simply because only one of them is alive at this time...........
Now let’s properly break down the letter.
“anyway I think you’ll ____ sorry I couldn’t get it done ____”
These lines imply that the writer of the letter attached something to it. The writer likely thinks the recipient will like whatever they attached.
The writer then apologizes about something. The wording makes it seem like they’re apologizing about not completing whatever is attached on time. If time is what they’re apologizing for, this is likely Mike writing this. Mike has been associated with running late many times throughout the show.
This is my guess: “anyway I think you’ll like [the ending]. sorry I couldn’t get it done [on time]”
The next part is easy and was confirmed by the writers:
“but you mean so [much to me]”
Obviously whoever wrote this letter cares deeply about the recipient.
“and it’s been [so hard being without you]”
I guessed this part. The writer is making an excuse as to why they weren’t able to complete something on time. It makes sense that the writer was struggling from being away from the recipient and thus that was the excuse for the delay. This would make even more sense if the writer was struggling with grieving the recipient.
“hope this is [enough to] last until [we meet again]. Love, [Mike].”
The “enough to” was simple enough to complete, not much else can fit in that context.
I guessed the “we meet again” because it's fitting. It also implies Mike will reunite with Will in death. Blue meeting Yellow in "the west" (where the sun sets).
Now, the date “November 6, 1983” is there because…
The attachment is the complete story of the entire show, beginning on that very specific date. The book attached to the letter, or the “book of letters” if you will. Mike wrote the story, or rather finished the story for Will. He couldn’t “get it done on time” because Will likely passed on prior to the completion of the story. He wrote the story, which is the “watered down” version of the true horrors he and Will experienced, and others too. The story was written so he and Will could survive everything in the end and become heroes forever and ever.

🌧 tw: dialogue heavy, toxic se-mi, manipulation, cheating, break up, unresolved angst, no fluff </3 swearing, mentions of suicide and self harm, se-mi is lowkey a bitch in this but not lowkey. she IS

The past five years had been the best of your life, filled with the kind of love people spend lifetimes yearning for. Se-mi was flawless in your eyes, stunning in ways that transcended appearance. You loved her for everything she was—even on the nights she spent sobbing, convinced she was unlovable.
Five years of warmth, of feeling like you had found your forever. Yet, you had been together for six.
The past year had been different. Something between you both had shifted, a slow, creeping distance forming where there was once undeniable closeness. The same girl you had encouraged to open up, the one you swore you would never leave no matter how messy her thoughts became, was now the girl you invalidated and pushed away. You could still hear your own voice echoing in your head, sharp and unrelenting in the arguments.
Maybe that’s why this moment wasn’t surprising. You stood in the middle of your shared apartment, the weight of your decision settling between you both. Se-mi’s expression was unreadable, but you knew she saw right through the excuse you had given. It was weak. Pathetic. A flimsy veil to hide the truth neither of you wanted to speak aloud.
Still, she wasn’t innocent either.
After all, how could you keep going when you were trapped with someone who had mastered manipulation, someone who carried a victim complex like a badge of honor?
The next few days passed in a blur of solitude. You cried in the mornings, in the late hours of the night, but you’d never let her know. To the world, you were fine. Unbothered. Even when you felt like you were unraveling, piece by piece.
Sleep had abandoned you. Food had lost its taste. The air in your apartment felt heavier, pressing down on you like an invisible weight. Still, you convinced yourself this was the right choice. You had to.
A sudden knock at the door jolted you from your thoughts. Wiping your sleeve across your face, you erased the evidence of your tears before hesitantly opening the door.
And there she was.
Se-mi.
She didn’t wait for an invitation. She pushed past you, stepping into your apartment with the same force she had always carried, the one that demanded to be felt. You barely had time to process before she turned on you, her voice laced with venom.
“Those six years meant nothing to you, right?” she spat, dragging her hands through her already disheveled hair. “I’ve been at home sobbing every fucking night, while you—” she gestured wildly, “—are out laughing with your friends like I never fucking existed.”
She was breathing hard, her chest rising and falling in rapid succession. “I should’ve seen this coming, especially after this past year. You changed overnight. From my lover girl to a distant, heartless bitch.”
Her words cut deep, but you refused to let them show.
She wasn’t done.
“You spent years telling me to open up, to be vulnerable with you, and now?” Her voice cracked. “Now you just don’t give a shit. Now, my feelings are just an inconvenience to you.”
Something inside you snapped.
Your carefully buried emotions surged to the surface, clawing their way out before you could stop them.
“When I was about to end my life, tell me, my dearest, where the fuck were you?”
The words left your mouth before you could filter them. Se-mi’s face twisted in something unreadable, but you pressed on.
“Oh, right. Forgive me, you were out with your friends.” A bitter laugh escaped your lips. “But when you were the one crying—when you were breaking down over the consequences of your own actions—I dropped everything. I spent fifty fucking dollars on a train ticket to get to you because I thought that’s what love was. I thought love meant showing up even when it was inconvenient.”
Your voice was rising, your chest burning with every word.
“Don’t you get it, Se-mi? You were never there for me. I was always by your side, but you never gave me the same in return. So yeah, maybe I became distant. Maybe I pulled away. But what the fuck else was I supposed to do?”
She opened her mouth, but you weren’t done.
“Why did you never tell m—”
“Don’t. Don’t you fucking dare.” Your voice was sharp, slicing through the air between you. “Every single time I tried to communicate my feelings—every goddamn time—I had to worry about you punishing yourself for it. Do you think I wanted to see you hurting yourself because I told you how I felt?"
You took a shaky breath, your body trembling from the sheer force of emotions you had been suppressing for so long.
“I didn’t tell you anything because I fucking cared about you, Se-mi. But you never did the same for me.”
Silence. A suffocating, unbearable silence.
And then, your voice softened, the weight of your exhaustion settling in your bones.
“But no, go ahead. Keep telling everyone I was the bad partner. Keep making me out to be some heartless monster while you pretend you weren’t the one who neglected me first.”
Se-mi’s lips parted, but no words came. For the first time, she had nothing to say.
For the first time, she looked like she truly understood.
And that was the saddest part of all.
Because now, it was too late.
Most of your anger had burned out, leaving only exhaustion in its wake. The kind that settled deep in your bones, weighing you down as you pulled the chair out from under the table and slumped into it. The silence of your apartment pressed against your ears, thick and suffocating.
Se-mi stood by the door, arms wrapped tightly around herself, her lips parted like she wanted to say something—but what words could possibly fix this? You let out a bitter laugh, shaking your head.
“I love you, Se-mi.” The confession fell from your lips like a curse rather than a blessing. “I still fucking do. And that makes it worse. So much worse.”
She flinched slightly, but you continued, voice raw with resentment.
“You never once loved me the way I loved you. Every single time I picked you up from your lowest, every time I stayed up just to make sure you didn’t feel alone—you never did the same for me. And don’t even try to deny it.” You ran a hand through your hair, exhaling sharply. “And don’t get me started on those other girls. You treated me like an idiot, like I couldn’t see what was right in front of me. Do you think I didn’t notice every time you disappeared without an explanation? Do you think I didn’t smell her perfume on your fucking neck?” You scoffed, shaking your head as you clenched your fists. “Also, you really should tell her it smells horrible.”
Se-mi opened her mouth to speak, but no words came. Of course. It was always like this—when confronted, she fell into silence, letting you carry the weight of every conversation, every argument, every ounce of pain.
You leaned forward, rubbing your temples as a deep sigh escaped your lips.
“I was distant and cruel towards the end. I know that. But step back and actually think for once, Se-mi.” Your voice softened, but the ache in your tone was unmistakable. “I yelled at you when you told me how you felt, and I regret that. But at least I actually gave a fuck. At least I reacted, at least I cared in some way.” You swallowed hard, voice trembling. “How would you have felt if I just ignored you every time, the way you ignored me? You’re alone now that we’ve broken up, but the difference is… I was alone the entire fucking time we were together.”
A sharp silence fell between you, thick with unspoken truths and wasted years. You clenched your jaw, blinking rapidly to fight off the tears threatening to spill. But what was the point? She had already seen you break so many times before.
Your voice was hoarse when you spoke again. “I put my own problems aside for you, Se-mi. Even when I was drowning, I held you above the water. I spent so many nights awake, whispering to you that everything would be okay, even when I had life-altering exams the next morning. And you—” your voice cracked, “—you couldn’t even dream of doing the same for me.”
You forced yourself to look her in the eyes then, to see the emptiness reflected back at you.
And that was when you knew.
There was no guilt. No remorse. No apology forming on her lips.
She was just… there. Like always. Passive. Watching as you unraveled, watching as she destroyed you piece by piece, like she had no part in it.
A hollow chuckle slipped from your lips, bitter and exhausted. “Get the fuck out, Se-mi.” Your voice was barely above a whisper, but the finality in your tone was deafening. “Don’t think about coming back. I hate you.”
And just like that, she left.
No desperate plea, no apology.
The door clicked shut behind her, and the silence that followed was louder than her voice had ever been.
You sat in that chair for hours, staring at the spot where she had once stood, crying over a girl who had never—would never—waste tears over you.

Hii can I request a Paul Aron x reader? Maybe like they went to school together and she was known to keep to herself but he finds out she drifts cars as a passion outside of school. Maybe a cute interaction after he watches her and he's with a couple friends too?
Drift to Survive (Paul Aron X Drifter! Reader)
Fandom: RPF/F2/3
Requested: Clearly (haha I speedran this, but I learned a lot of shit about drifting <3) (Also, off-topic but LOOK AT HIS HAND)
Warnings: None
POV: Second Person (You/your)
W.C. 1132
Summary: Drifter! reader decides it's time to share the infamous after-school activity.
As always, my requests are OPEN
MASTERLIST // HITLIST

~~(^Pinterest)
What had started as an after-school activity turned into a fully-fledged career after a while. You had started drifting back when you were younger. Your dad used to compete in Drift Masters (DM), and you had always been interested in it since he would take you to the rounds.
By the time you were 10, your dad was taking you out to open fields or empty tracks to drift, and when you reached 15, you started competing in lower levels. It was difficult managing a full-time career on top of finishing school, but it would be worth it in the end.
Somedays you wish you had told your school friends about your passion for drifting, but then you remember how critical people are of different interests. It was better to keep it on the down-low until you got better at least.
Well, to say you were getting better would be an understatement. You started competing in Formula Drift earlier this year, and you were dominating. You just found out that if you secured the championship, you would be offered a seat in DM.
Since there was a race for you this weekend, you decided to bite the bullet and invite a couple of your closest friends. They were racing in Formula 2 or Formula 3, and you knew they did not have a race that weekend. Surely, they were free.
You sent a quick text to the group chat that included Dino, Ollie, Jak, and your best friend, Paul. Maybe you wished Paul was more, but right now, your focus was on your career, especially since you just graduated and were moving up in the world. That was something you could pursue another day.
They all accepted immediately, intrigued at the prospect. They did not really attend a race where placement did not matter, so they were interested to learn about it. Also, they did not think it was something you were interested in. You were just so quiet. They did not expect you to be interested in their type of racing, let alone a more dangerous branch of it.
The day of the event came, and you were feeling more confident than ever. You had done a few practice runs with your dad again, and he was confident you would get that DM seat. Your friends arrived at your room early that morning since you all agreed to carpool together.
You all loaded in the car. You drove. It was after much debate from the guys, saying they were the racing drivers, but you rebuttled with how Ollie could not pass his driver’s license test. Plus, it was your car that your dad drove over for you. You did not plan on letting any of them take your car.
Paul sat in the front, Jak and Ollie took the window seats, and Dino sat in the middle despite him saying he was too tall for it. Granted, he was the shortest of the three, so his argument was invalid.
You let Dino have control over the music, so he would shut up. Thankfully, he did have good taste in music. You made it to the track in no time, and you drove around to the back where drivers and the teams would park. The boys looked at you funny as you showed the garage passes to security, but no one asked anything until you parked.
“You never told us,” Paul started as he climbed out of the car and followed you toward the boot. You were grabbing out a bag that had some of your essentials like team merch, hat, and snacks. All of your racing gear was already with the team. Paul closed the boot for you after you grabbed the bag out. “Where are we sitting?”
“You guys are sitting in the garage,” You answered as you locked the car after Ollie, Dino, and Jak clambered out of the car just in time to hear your answer. They all gaped at you before Dino made a connection.
“Wait, where will you be?’
“In the car,” You said simply as you handed them the badges and walked down toward the entrance. They all stood in shock for a minute before running to catch up. You led them around before parting off to your garage. Ollie, Dino, and Jak decided they wanted to explore a bit more, but Paul said he wanted to stick with you. Plus, he really wanted to look at your car.
Call him a nerd, but all cars are interesting to him.
You did just that. It did not take him long to realize that you were the “amazing”, “talented”, and “once-in-a-generation” driver that everyone talked about. You used an alias while driving, so he never made the connection before. You showed him your car, let him sit in it, and showed him your special helmet. Since this event was so special, you did a specialty helmet based on your dad’s helmet. If you could secure your DM seat with your dad’s helmet, it would have come full circle since he was the one to help you get there.
“Wow, this is incredible! I never knew you did this,” Paul said in awe as you explained a few more things in your driver's room while getting ready to get in the car. “It suits you though.”
“Thanks, Paul,” You laughed at that. “No one ever asks what I do outside of school, so I never said anything.”
“Well, now I’m gonna make it my mission to learn everything about you,” Paul said in a soft tone as he wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you into his body. He used one of his hands to do up the zipper and velcro of your race suit before resting his hand against the side of your neck, “If you’ll let me, that is?”
“I’d always let you in, Paul,” You whispered back as you slowly leaned in to press your lips against his. It did not last long as one of your managers knocked on the door, telling you it was time to get in the car. Reluctantly, you pulled away from him as you pulled your balaclava on and grabbed your helmet. “That’s my cue. Time to drift to survive. You better be watching from the garage. I need all of the energy I can get.”
“I manifesting that win for you,” Paul laughed as he followed you out to the car. As soon as you were situated in your seat, he leaned in one last time to give you a last piece of motivation, “You’ve got all of us behind you, just breathe, and you’ll do great as always. I’ll be waiting for you at the finish line to take you out for victory drinks.”

Okay, so I've been a lesbian for a while and don't know some of the terminology, and I'm kinda confused on how men can be lesbians (specifically cis men). Mostly cause I've never heard anyone talk about it before, adding a long I also have a question. So could I still identify as a lesbian if I find myself attracted to men or masc presenting people? I've seen people say you can't so yea! (Sorry if this doesn't make sense or if I came off as rude)
hello there!
the argument that lesbians can't be men is transphobic, intersexist, gender essentialist, exorsexist and a lot of other very exhausting and historically inaccurate ways. it has nothing to do with real lesbianism but rather rad fems and political lesbians online trying to turn the lesbian community into a "girls only" club where they can shit on men and be transphobic and toxic
people love to jump to the assumption that i'm taking about cis men first and foremost, which i'm not- although i genuinely don't care if a cis man identifies as a lesbian i'm not a cop and you shouldn't be, either. we all need to collectively kill the cops in our minds. no, this will not create an influx of "cishet men invading lesbian spaces." cishet men can literally already choose to identify as lesbians if they want to and they literally do not. most cishet men are lesbophobic and disgusted by irl lesbians and only find lesbianism attractive in porn. if cishet men wanted to lesbians, they already would be. also again, i'm not a cop, so it's not my business if a cis man does identify for any reason as a lesbian. if that concept makes one uncomfortable, they can choose to ignore that person.
this is not the conversation we're having, so it's best to realize that there's a far deeper issue here.
the people who tell you lesbians can't be men are specifically targeting butch lesbians, transmascs, ftm, trans men, trans male, bigender, multigender, genderfluid, genderqueer, and genderfuck lesbians. lesboys, boydykes, lesbians who are non binary, lesbians who don't have a gender, lesbians who are men only, lesbians who are two spirit, butches who are men. these are all people who have been in the lesbian community all along, and this is who is being targeted. anyone who tells you a lesbian cannot be a man is either a rad fem or someone who has been indoctrinated by one, or someone who is very confused and ill informed at best
butchphobia is heavily linked to this behavior. many butch lesbians are women and women only and that's a legitimate expression of butchhood, but MANY and i mean many butches throughout history have been transmascs and trans men, or have been men in other capacities, such as trans women who are also men, and other multigender people.
bigender people exist in every identity. id on't know why people conveniently love to just forget about this when it comes to the argument of lesbian men. it's not just you, i get this sentiment all the time. we need to realize that multigender people exist. we need to collectively accept that genderfluid and genderqueer and genderfuck people exist and they can be lesbians, too. many butch lesbians are literally men and it's not right to kick them out of the community. please remember that the "lesbians can only be women and only if they're cis and not Too Butch" mindset directly stems from lesbian separatism and political lesbianism. i'd suggest researching those topics, they were at their peak in the 1980s and 90's in the United States and caused a lot of damage that we're still seeing the ripples from
lesbians shouldn't have to get some kind of extra or approval to be men. i really just don't get this mindset. you have to ask yourself why this even matters to begin with. it doesn't. it's not harming anyone else for a lesbian to be a man. if you're not attracted to them you don't have to be. if you are attracted to them, it doesn't invalidate your lesbianism. bigender, multigender, non binary, genderfluid, genderfuck, gnc, intersex, trans, and other gender variant people shouldn't be banned from the lesbian community for no reason.
also i keep begging people to do so but please research the life and identity of Leslie Feinberg. zie was a polygender butch lesbian who did identify as a man. i repeat this phrase a lot but if you don't know who zie is, your knowledge of lesbian history of very limited. lesie was a very prolific activist for lesbian and trans rights, as well as many other important issues. leslie wasn't some random tumblruser or what have you, there are people who have existed well outside of the bounds of this website who have identified as lesbian men. this phenomenon is not new, it's not relegated to the internet, and it's not something that people should have never heard of before.
i suggest researching lesbian history outside of tumblr. i'm one of the few who isn't, but most of the popular bloggers in the lesbian community on here is proudly transphobic as fuck. when they say "I'M A LESBIAN, MEN DNI!!!!!!" they are PROUDLY showing their transphobia. a lesbian who is bigender, multigender, non binary, transmasc, genderfluid, and so on is trans. this is transphobia. this is lesbophobia. lesbians can be men whether or not it makes an individual comfortable. there are also trans women who are... also men. we can't keep allowing this to be a "threat". we are killing our own when we do this
i'm glad you took the time to ask. i get heated on this issue, so this is a rather passionate response because i'm just outright sick of people acting like the idea of a lesbian identifying a man is somehow unheard of. lesbians are well known for being some of the most genderfucked people in the queer community. we struggle with gender our entire lives due to the expectations and stressors placed on our shoulders, as well as who we are on the inside. it will never unheard of for lesbians to be genderqueer.
i hope this helps somewhat. if you have any more questions feel free to ask. i will continue talking about this until people understand that lesbian men are not a threat to anyone. manhood belongs in lesbianism whether or not that makes you or anyone else uncomfortable. it's an experience that will continue to happen no matter what people have to say in conjecture and theory- lesbian men will continue to show up to lesbian and other pride meetings. we will continue to talk and write about our experiences. and the world will keep turning as a result. the sun will rise again. and no one was hurt simply by the existence of some lesbians being men.

"If you don't ship X ship you're an asshole"
"If you ship X you're an asshole"
"If you don't like X character you're the worst"
"If you like X character you're the worst"
"If you like this ship you're an abuse apologist"
"If you like this character you're a genocide apologist"
"This is a toxic ship, if you like it you support toxic couples irl"
"This is an evil character, if you like it you support abusers/murderers irl"
"If you like X character you support/like/accept what X does irl"
"If you like X pairing you support/like/accept X kind of pairing irl"
I'm tired of making posts about this topic but it seems like people don't understand it. Maybe If I continue making them people will eventually understand it. For the love of God. Stop with the toxicity. Stop with the harassment. Stop with the death threats. What do you think you will get harassing someone? What do you think you will get sending death threats? No, like, I'm seriously asking. What. the. fuck. do. you. think. you. will. get. A reward?
Because you're not gonna get a reward for leading someone to suicide.
First, if you feel the need to harass someone or tell them "kill yourself" for a fictional thing, your. opinion. is. invalid. "It's not invalid because I'm right!" "Oh, I'm right" "Oh, I'm the best" "Oh, I'm awesome" "Oh, I'm the best person here" "Oh, I'm the best human because I have morals unlike other people". Stop. Please, stop. You're so cringe. You are the "moral" person but you're telling a real person to kill themselves. Oops- my bad. Yeah, I realize now. That's actually the most moral thing in this world. Telling someone to kill themselves. How I didn't notice before? Tell someone "kys" is the best thing ever, it's not like you can break their heart, it's not like you can harm them irreparably, it's not like you can damage or shatter them, it's not like you can bring back their trauma (if they have), it's not like you can destroy completely a person for your unconsciousness and stupidity.
As I was saying- if you tell someone "kill yourself" "die" or harass them, you're opinion is invalid because no one with the ability of using reasonable arguments would act like that. It's the same as insulting someone. If you feel the need to call people "idiot" "asshole" "dick", that only proves you're not an intelligent person. If you were, you would be capable of talking about a topic without calling the other mean nicknames and/or without being rude to them.
Secondly, you have the right to like whatever ship you want. And you also have the right not to like a ship. But there's a difference between posting things like "You're fucking ill" "They have chemistry, you're an asshole if you don't ship them" "They're the best couple in this book/show/movie! You're the worst for not shipping them!" "If you like/don't like this couple is because you're a fucking idiot" "If you ship this, kill yourself" and posting things like "I don't like this ship because X, Y and Z" without being disrespectful to the people that like that ship. There's also a big difference between not liking what people ship/hating the ship and actively going into people blogs, into their asks, and into their posts, to harass them. You have the right not to like a ship. You have the right to like a ship. But people also have the right not to be harassed for a ship. And I don't understand why I even have to say that HARASSING SOMEONE OR TELLING THEM "KYS" is VERY VERY MUCH WORSE than liking a fanon/canon ship- WHEN YOU PEOPLE SHOULD FUCKING KNOW THAT ALREADY.
Thirdly, "If you don't like X character you're the worst" "If you like X character you're the worst". As well as you can ship whatever you want, you can like whatever character you want. You have the right to like whatever character you want without being called out, without being harassed, and without being told to kill yourself. And you have the right to like them BECAUSE IT'S A FUCKING CHARACTER. It's not real. Liking Voldemort or Vecna, for example, doesn't make you a murder apologist. Liking Endeavor doesn't make you an abuse apologist. Liking Darth Vader doesn't make you a genocide apologist. And I don't care about why you like them, but you can like them. Because again liking a FICTIONAL villain is not the same as liking a REAL villain. We would have a problem if you defended/supported REAL fascists, REAL murderers, REAL abusers, REAL dictators.
Disliking a character is also okay. Because guess what? Everyone has the right to have their own opinion about a character without people being rude at them. You have the right to dislike Harry Potter. You have the right to dislike Ginny Weasley. You have the right to dislike Draco Malfoy. You have the right to dislike whatever character you want. But of course it's not the same disliking a character for their personality or their behavior (or a similar reason) than disliking them because of their gender, their race, their sexual orientation, etc. If you dislike them because their personality annoys you, it's okay. It's not okay if you dislike them, for example, for being black. Above all things, you have to be a respectful human. And disliking a character for something like their race, gender or sexual orientation it's disrespectful.
Fourthly, if you don't want to see posts about the ship you dislike in Tumblr, there's something called FILTER TAGS. You know what I do when people post things about Percabeth / Hiccstrid / Jlaire / Adrinette / Westallen / Naruhina? You think I harass people who like those ships? You think I tell them "kys" because in my opinion they're not good ships? No. I FILTER the tag like a NORMAL, MORALLY and RESPECTFUL person would do. I don't go into Percabeth / Hiccstrid / Jlaire / Adrinette / Westallen / Naruhina blogs/posts to tell people "you're an asshole, why do you like this fucking ship? It's trash". And If I find a blog and I don't like them for what they have in their bio or because I can't stand the ships they like- I just block them. Because THE BLOCK BUTTON also exist. If you don't want to interact with someone, block them. But don't go into their blogs to harass them.
And you ALSO can do these things in AO3. You don't want to see works of a certain pairing? You don't want to see the works of a certain user? Then filter the tag and mute the user (1) instead of whining in other social media. "Why there are so many works of this couple? It's disgusting 😭😭😭" "The fandom worries me with this ship" "This ships is disgusting, why people like it so much?". Stop. Please stop. No one cares about what you're saying. You hate X ship? Then exclude the tag "X character/Y character" and search works of your favorite couple. It's so easy. (Yeah- I know I made a post about Ereri and Jeaneren, but with the post I meant I wanted more Jeaneren works, I didn't mean I wanted all the Ereri fics to dissapear or that I wanted people not to ship Ereri).
In fifth place, I have to say that your actions are very -like Palpatine would say- ironic. Yeah, it's ironic how you criticize people for liking "toxic/abusive" ships (like Catradora, Bakudeku, Reylo, Dabihawks, Zutara and Darklina, when they aren't even toxic because most of the times they're enemies to lovers ships) (2), while not worrying about ACTUAL canon toxic ships (like Jarley, Hannigram, Maiko, Anidala, and more) and while getting to the point of harass people for that """""toxic""""" ship. I don't know, but I think the only toxicity here comes from you.
"They're toxic" "They're abusive" "Their dynamic is horrible, it's so toxic and abusive" "I used to ship them but now I see how morally wrong is the ship" "If you ship this you're normalizing abuse" "I hate when people make it seem like a healthy ship". No. You're the toxic person here. You're the abusive person here. You're the wrong one here. You're the one normalizing abuse by not allowing people to like the ship they want and by making excuses to harass people. And btw- we don't make it seem like a healthy ship- because Catradora and Reylo, for example, only ended up together AFTER villain's REDEMPTION. It's not a toxic ship if we don't see the toxicity in their romance. I repeat it: in their ROMANCE. And like I said in a previous post, even if it was a toxic ship, no one has the right to harass someone for it. "No, they deserve to be harassed because they are toxic and that means they support toxic couples in real life". WHAT YOU LIKE IN FICTION IS NOT A REFLECTION OF WHAT YOU SUPPORT IN REAL LIFE, AND AGAIN, I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO SAY THIS WHEN YOU ALREADY SHOULD KNOW IT. And you aren't the most appropiate person to talk about toxicity-
And to end this post, it's funny how you throw hands the moment someone criticize your ship or your favorite character, acting like you're the morally superior person here. Acting like you're the best. Acting like you deserve good things because you're "right" and everyone else deserve bad things because they're "wrong". You know what? If your favorite characters were here, if Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Ron Wealey, Hermione Granger, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Katara, Aang, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste (and other characters) lived in this world, trust me, they wouldn't treat you with "respect" for defending them and defending their ship (Hinny, Romione, Percabeth, Kataraang, Adrinette and other ships). If you were/are respectful, sure, they would treat you nicely. Oh, but if you told someone to kill themselves, harrassed them, or doxxed them for their ship- they would be SO disappointed with you and your fandom. And trust me, they definitely wouldn't be on your side because THEY are HEROES and GOOD PEOPLE unlike you.
If you're against something I said, if you're against me being against harassment/being against sending death threats, block me now because I'm tired of people defending something so disgusting.
(1) If you silence a user in AO3 their works don't appear in the Search. You see this:
(2) I made a post about the """""toxicity""""" of some enemies-to-lovers ships (which is none), if you want to read it, read this and this or search for the tag "enemies to lovers" in my blog.

I posted this in a reblog already but I feel like it needs its own post
The original post was about how people say that "Rhys didn't touch her below the waist" isn't a sound argument that he didn't SA Feyre because he showed he can manipulate the paint so that isn't proof that he didn't touch her.
I agree and my thoughts on it are also, even if he truly didn't go below her hips he still
• forced her to drink fairy wine (essentially drugging her due to the effects it has on humans) when she explicitly said no and pushed him away multiple times
• dressed her in pretty much nothing and paraded her around naked in front of everyone for absolutely no reason
– Please keep in mind when people make pretty fanart of this scene, they have to censor it for social media and they're romanticizing it. It isn't accurate. This was not romantic or girl boss, Feyre was essentially naked and it traumatized her
• had her dance naked on him in front of everyone for absolutely no reason—to the point that she vomited and he *checks notes* made her keep going
• forcibly kissed her
• spied on her through the tattoo he forced on her
And he still touched her. There are a lot of places you can touch someone above their hips/waist and if they don't want it, it's assault. And in this specific scenario, with these other instances of assault/abuse, it was sexual assault. It's not a debate.
Feyre had immense trauma from what he did to her and she even tries to bring it up but he makes it all about him (ironic that his fans do the same).
You Rhysand stans have a freak attack when someone tries to debate or invalidate Rhysand's SA (which is valid, so why is it okay to debate Feyre's when it is written right there on the page for you? If you genuinely and truly believe that Rhysand did not SA Feyre then I beg of you to check your internalized misogyny (and your literacy) because the "logic" you're using is the exact same logic that people who say Amarantha didn't SA Rhysand are using.
And if you can't even handle comprehending what happened UTM when it's spelled out for you then prepare yourself for this one:
Rhysand SA'd Feyre when they had unprotected sex because he knew the risks and she didn't
Oh and every time he has sex with her to shut her up/get his way is manipulation and is absolutely in the SA grey area because it's part of his emotional abuse towards her

Sorry to drop into your ask box but I have been blown away by the reaction to the last couple of episodes. I’m fairly new but I am gobsmacked alleged actual mental health professionals are coming out to defend Eddie’s actions in the kitchen. That is straight up terrifying to think about.
Also seeing tiktok edits about how good it was and how they just need to hug each other, and how the shoulder grasp was their thing to help Eddie connect them emotionally. I have been in some toxic fandoms and I feel like I am being gaslit. That scene should have buried the nonexistent romantic relationship there and then. I find myself frustrated by the ‘oh Buck is sad, throw a kid at him’ aspect as well because it invalidates his whole feelings.
I have gone on a blocking spree with how bad the takes have been, like saying it’s racist to criticise Eddie or even ship BuckTommy. Having seen the hatred to Lou and Tommy but comparing it to the scenes, i am baffled by the levels of hate and vitriol. Lou is doing his job and they’re pleased to be harassing him and other actors. I like Buck Tommy, I like their scenes and I hope they bring them back! I loved how Tommy treats him like an adult and allows his feelings to be voiced.
Also I wish Ravi would replace Eddie full time because he has so much to add and it feels like certain people only like Buck when they can make him Eddie’s punching bag or doormat.
Welcome to the world of the 9-1-1 fanbase. I’m sorry that you’re seeing it like this as a newcomer, because before Buddie basically took over the fandom? It was actually quite a chill place.
The first thing you need to know about the Buddies is a simple fact; they truly believe that this is The Eddie Diaz Show™️. They think he’s the “main of all mains” or something, that the show wouldn’t exist, wouldn’t be as successful as it is, without him. Of course, that argument gets destroyed the second you look back to season one and realise that the show was successful enough to get renewed for a second season without him, but you’ll never convince them of that. You’re correct in saying that this scene should’ve buried any idea of romance between the two of them but they’ll twist anything into ship material. They did it with couches and lasagne, so naturally they’ll do it with emotional abuse too.
The second thing to note; they don’t actually like Buck. Not one of them truly gives a fuck about him. They treat him like a child, or a naughty puppy who’s just pissed on the carpet. You’ll get used to that, unfortunately. It never gets less annoying, you just learn to tune it out for the sake of your sanity. You’ll also see several bad faith takes about Buck’s “selfishness”, and about how Eddie “simply tells Buck what he needs to hear”. The “filtered tags” option in your settings and the block button are going to become your best friends; use them liberally. The rest of us do, you might as well join the ranks.
As for Ravi replacing Eddie, I think a lot of us are on the Ravi Main Train™️ at this point. We’re all tired of Eddie being stuck in the same cycle as he was in season 3, with no real growth anywhere to be found. Adding Ravi to the team permanently would be a great way to refresh the show, while keeping us familiar with the characters. We know Ravi, we like him, there’s no need to work in a new face with a new backstory and hope they connect with the audience. Ravi has all of that already. He’s the perfect “new” addition to the main cast, the perfect way to give the show that “fresh” feeling without making us adjust to yet another new character that might not land in the way Tim hoped (see Lena Bosko and Lucy Donato for examples).

I mean the long and short of "X-passing privilege" is that it's literally a eating your kind own type of rhetoric. This doesn't come from the typical racists, and the queerphobes, or the ableists. The calls come from inside the house, and that doesn't make it any less racist, queerphobic or ableist, but it's just able to slide under the radar. Especially when some idiot specifically from within that group spouts that bullshit.
Literally all those ideas are built on some leftists idea of how things works, and a specific chronic black and white thinking very specific to leftists spaces. Yeah something like that also exists also in rightwing spaces, but that one has a completely different identity and political flavor to it.
White passing as such, doesn't exist in righty rhetoric the way it does in lefty spaces. In leftists spaces white passing is constantly applied to people of a paler complexion, but it's not even needed that the person looks (American) white to be called white-passing. You can have a pale indigenous or black woman, but because she has looser curls and paler skin, she's white passing, despite never fitting in with actual white people. You know what concept makes more sense though? Colorism. But for some reason colorism, which was specifically about inter-ethnic discrimination based on complexion, got twisted and suddenly people have arguments about people who clearly don't look like white people look the most "white".
Straight passing. The completely pointless argument about how your identity as a queer person apparently can be revoked and you have no right to speak on queer issues anymore, and to deny your experiences. Suddenly being forced into the closet is a privilege. And for some suspicious reason that privilege applies 90% to people who're bi, pan, ace, or any other non-monosexual homosexuality. The pattern that this is also clearly aimed at specific groups within the queer umbrella also is painfully obvious when all is needed is that you have a "M/F" looking relationship. But the fact that the label straight-passing also gets applied to very queer looking couples is ignored. Or that it technically would apply to anyone in the closet, single, etc. There's so much about straight passing that literally just denies the entire experience of being queer, based on intercommunity-phobias.
And last but not least, able-bodied passing or NT-passing. Not exactly the biggest slice of the pie, but I don't even think it's called that. Pretending it's a privilege to not be immediately visually disabled, while ignoring how much bullshit the healthcare system heaps on people with invisible disabilities and never get help. As if there aren't positives and downsides to literally every type of disability. Suddenly getting your diagnosis and problems invalidated because you don't "look the part" or because you take away too much attention or whatever.
Honestly, I'm wondering if some of this was born from concepts like "passing" in transgender terms, and people completely missed the point of what it meant in the context of trans people, and then decided to be stupid and cause even more bullshit infighting in already struggling spaces.

୨⎯ “𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬”⎯୧
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬; You just want to be more comfortable in your relationship so you talk to your boyfriend Getou about what’s wrong.
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠; Getou Suguru x reader
𝐜𝐰; angst
Relationships are something you’ve never been able to be in for long. It’s not like you didn’t want them to work, you just couldn’t get them too. Something would happen that’s not big enough to break up over but not small enough to ignore. Like always you’d bring it up and then they’d dismiss you telling you that you’re overreacting. A very common occurrence in all your relationships and it usually led to you breaking up with your partner because if there’s one thing you hated it was being overlooked and your feelings being invalidated. You always told yourself that you’d never let any man walk all over you because you grew up watching it happen to your mom but here you were looking just like her.
Getou was your longest relationship. You had been with him for four years and you truly loved him and you felt like nothing could change that. There were things that bothered you here and there but you were willing to work them out like now. “I’m not saying that. I just want you to listen to me a bit more. I’m starting to think you don’t even like me. You spend all your time with them and when you come home you’re too tired for me.” Getou had recently been spending loads of time with his little friend group he’d made at this new job he’d gotten. They were always dragging him to this place and to that place. It’s not like he hadn’t invited you to these outings because he did and sometimes you’d go but he’d basically ignore you the whole time you were there so naturally you stopped going. Plus you wanted to spend time with him and him alone, not him and his friends. You wanted to be all lovey dovey without him pulling away because his friends would tease him. “That’s not true.” He denied and your lips curled down into a small frown. It was ironic because he had just denied spending time with you, insisted on going to sleep, and was now preparing for bed. “I’ve just been tired from work.” He gave you a short chaste kiss on your lips and placed his big hand on the small of your back rubbing little circles. It was something he’d do when you were overwhelmed and it used to be so comforting before he started using it to get you to drop your argument. “It’s late. Let's go to bed and talk about this in the morning, hm?” He hummed. The way his voice lowered to a much softer tone than before would’ve made you lie down with him but the problem was you’d never talk about this in the morning. You’d wake up and look over and the side of his bed would be messy with him nowhere to be seen. “Getou. You aren’t listening. Again.” You said sternly and he frowned. He looked disappointed and God did it break your heart to see that look on his face.
“I just want us to be together more. I can’t keep acting like it doesn’t bother me that we don’t spend any time with each other because it does. Look, I know you want to spend time with your friends but please. Please make time for me.” You furrowed your brows at his reaction. You swore you saw him roll his eyes. He let out a long tired sigh. “You’re really complaining over something so small?” He said it as more of a statement than a question but it rang in your ears and it hurt more each time you replayed it in your head. “I thought we'd already gotten over this.” He scoffed, slowly letting go of you and stepping back a little. His actions weren’t unnoticed by you and it hurt a little thinking about it. You wanted to take back what you said. You regretted it but there was no way you could just take it back now. Why would you anyway? It wouldn’t resolve anything and you wanted this relationship to work and if he broke up with you for trying to make it work then so be it. “It may be small to you but it’s not small to me. I miss you and you’re right here. Can’t you see that’s a problem?” Your voice was laced with desperation. It was pathetic, really, that you would probably have to beg him to hang out with you. His face scrunched up and he scoffed before turning on his heels and heading towards the closet. Your face scrunched up because you knew what he was doing. It was something he’d picked up recently (probably from his friends). He’d run. “Getou, that's not fair. You don’t just get to leave every time I try to talk to you.” He continued packing a small bag and you followed him around the house eventually ending up in the living room where he was gathered his stuff, watching as he placed it carefully in his bag. “Getou!” You said a little louder than usual and he didn’t bother to even look at you. He just grabbed his bag, put his shoes and a shift on, and headed for the door. “Getou if you leave this time then we’re done.” A small tinge of guilt started to eat you up as he looked at you in disbelief. “If you want to be like that- .” He cut himself off and left slamming the door behind him. It wasn’t the last time you were going to see him. Maybe if you apologized he’d come back but a part of you didn’t want him too. You tried to talk to him and he walked out on you. Wasn’t that clear enough that he didn’t care?
𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬; sorry I’m not really good at writing and especially not writing ending but I hope you enjoyed🥰

Complex Motivations (You Didn't Know)
Hazbin Hotel is about redemption, and a large part of that is the complexity of motivation. Sinners have unique reasons for what got them into hell, and that intricacy is explored in great detail with the main cast, but also everyone around them.
This is actually a mercy extended to the villains. Because contrary to popular belief, having a reason for doing what your doing doesn’t make you right. The Vees, for example, are characterised entirely by their dynamic with each other, and understanding their motivation means understanding just how cruel of a person Valentino is, for example. It doesn’t justify his actions, it explains them, and makes him a more complex character than “he does bad things because he is bad”, a mentality that the show criticises at every opportunity it gets.
Speaking of which, that reductive worldview is exemplified by the folks up in heaven. Specifically, by Lute, Adam, and Sera, and You Didn’t Know exists to show them on a sliding scale of villainy, and how their place on it doesn’t matter.
Let me explain.
SPOILERS AHEAD: (Hazbin Hotel)
CONTENT WARNING: (Language)
“But she was right”
The first words in any story give context to what is to come. They set up the plot, provide a question or mystery, and establish pacing. Songs in musicals are parts of the story told in microcosm, and so they apply these rules. In this case, it is important to understand that each of these people has been proven wrong.
Their worldview is measurably false, and the question is, what do they do now?
This isn’t a presentation of ideas, this isn’t a philosophical debate, this is an exploration of character in the face of challenge, and how it exposes a person's true motivation.
Starting with Lute, because she is, in my eyes, the simplest. She believes everything that she is saying with no one hundred percent certainty, and it’s almost refreshing in contrast with everyone else.
Adam and Sera are both fickle in morality, but Lute is rock solid. She is bigoted and evil, and she is owning it. She is, for lack of a better term, a paragon.
“What are we even talking about?
Some crack whore who fucked up already?
He blew his shot like the cocks in his mouth.
This discussion is senseless and petty!”
Why are we having this conversation? Angel Dust is a sinner, therefore incapable of making any points. Any evidence presented is invalid because he’s the one presenting it.
Redemption can’t be proven because redemption doesn’t exist.
It’s a flat, mindless understanding of the world that a lot of people carry, more than you think.
Dutch angle. These two make the scene unsafe. Standard filmmaking but worth pointing out.
This is called Doxastic Anxiety, according to the philosopher, Jenifer Foster. I recommend her dissertation, as well as the video by Philosophy Tube (@theabigailthorn), which discusses it in the context of deliberate ignorance, amongst other things.
Doxastic Anxiety is an aversion to forming new beliefs. In this case, Lute doesn’t want to believe that redemption is possible, so she, quite efficiently, doesn’t believe.
This isn’t an argument or a conversation, this is one side presenting evidence, and immediately getting shot down with “shut up, I’m right.” You can’t change the mind of someone who refuses to open it in the first place.
This is matched by the music itself. I’ve talked at length about Adam and Lute’s obsession with rock music and what I think about that, but there’s a gaping hole in Lute’s argument here.
The drums are doing something interesting, and I will come back to them later, but the guitar is remarkably restrained, which isn’t what you would associate with rock at all.
There's some colour symbolism here that I love. Traditionally, there is a correlation between good and evil, light and dark, white and black. Those three categories align and while there are implications there, it is storytelling standard. Except here, in this scene, the brightest part of the shot is the window into hell, and because of the shadows rendering lute in grayscale, the closest things in the scene to pure white are Angel Dust, and Charlie's hair. The filmmakers are messing with morality, so naturally, they can't resist a chance to mess with the imagery thereof. Also interesting here, the shadows are of the Angels own making because it is their architecture. They aren't just made to look bad by contrast, it's their own actions that lead to this symbolism.
Music is emotion, that’s why character playlists exist. Songs convey themes through vibes, and rock music is about big, unrestrained emotions. Rock music is fundamentally wild.
Consider Bullet With Butterfly Wings, by the Smashing Pumpkins. The song is about anger at an inability to claim freedom, and so the guitar evokes the pacing of a caged animal during the verses, then comes out swinging in the chorus only to, for lack of a better term, fumble it. The resolution at the end of each musical phrase is clumsy, like falling back to square one. The final chorus, notably, doesn’t do this, and is much more comfortable, evoking a feeling of catharsis that contrasts with the lyrics of the chorus.
“Despite all my rage,
I am still just a rat in a cage.”
Powerlessness. The character is trying to claim freedom and has transcended their anger, but it hasn’t worked. The finale is desperate, and the music thrashes against its bars, trying to break either them, or itself, all while repeatedly screaming the words:
“And I still believe that I cannot be saved.”
Maybe the bars are more than just physical. Maybe there is a psychological element to this kind of oppression.
Even Sweet Child O’ Mine, by Guns and Roses (they’re a small, up and coming band. But I think you should check them out. There’s promise there) which is calm and reminiscent for most of its runtime, is built on being dynamic. The iconic riff famously bounces between highs and lows to mimic the highs and lows of a life lived.
It’s messy in the way that memories are messy, and the solos are wild and meant to be experienced more than just listened to. They chomp at the bit during the lull at “where do we go now”, before climbing back into soaring expressions of glee and, for lack of a better term, raw power. It’s a very different emotion to Bullet With Butterfly Wings, and you don’t need the lyrics to understand that.
The point I am making is that rock music is intrinsically expressionistic and unchained, and when Lute sings, her portion of the song is anything but. Lute is angry, and appropriating imagery that is not hers to use to justify that anger. But what is the anger at? Being proven wrong.
Case and point, her guitar is simple and even. It rises, then stops, then repeats, then plays a nice little melody at the top, before resorting to power chords. She has tried to form a point, but has been unable to, and instead of examining that, has resorted to anger and displays of force.
There is something in that "stick it to the man" thing. People in power almost seem to fetishise rebellion, but when it actually happens, they get all upset. Adam likes to appear as the underdog, and I think he likes to feel like the underdog, but he isn't. He's the one the underdogs are fighting.
Moving on to Adam, who doesn’t believe anything he is saying. He is doing genocide for entertainment, and he doesn’t care about justifying it. There is nothing behind this man, he gets what he wants because he wants it. He is a man child.
He has also already had his views explained in detail, so this song gets to shine as a character beat for him, because of the aforementioned framing device. What do you do when you are proven wrong? Do you change? Do you shout down what the person is saying like Lute? Or do you get petty and start being an arse because you can?
This is where we see Adam’s vindictive side, and it sure is a coincidence that the guy who champions retributive justice has a habit of taking what he views as revenge and multiplying it tenfold. That’s probably not important.
Anyway, this is used to bring up Vaggie’s deceit, but it also exposes something interesting about Adam’s villainy. It’s innately self-sabotaging.
Adam could have kept his gob shut and this would have gone off without a hitch, but he didn’t. His villainy is based in retribution, and so he had to dish it out when he was slighted, even if it undermines his greater scheme.
Which, if I may get a bit soap boxy, is how villains work in the real world.
I get frustrated with the view that kindness is hard and that being awful is easy because it isn’t. Don’t let people tell you the world is naturally terrible, because if you believe them and expect the worst, then you don’t call people out on their nonsense. “Oh, the world is bad, it was the easiest choice to do this awful thing.” No! It took a choice to cause suffering, someone made that decision.
Evil is difficult and self sabotaging and will wreck you for doing it to the point where it stops being worth it. Truly evil people are those that make the decision to do what they are doing because they have weighed up the consequences and decided that they don’t care.
On a day-to-day level, kindness is easy. It costs you nothing. Don’t use the mundanity of misery as an excuse for your own shit behavior, and call people out on theirs because they are actively making the world worse, not prolonging the status quo.
But on a grander scale, this is where Adam comes in. I would argue that it would be easier for Adam to not do a genocide. Like, it would be easier to just sit at home, drink soft drink, be a tosspot. He wouldn’t be a nice guy, but it would be an improvement.
But to do what he is doing right now, he had to come up with the idea, something that probably took him a while. Then he had to persuade Lute and the other executioners, which probably took less time. Then he had to run it by Sera, and then he had to amass an army in secret and keep that same secret of genocide from an entire population.
But he did. He went above and beyond so that he could kill people for sport.
Adam actively made the world worse, and crucially, that directly led to his death later on in the series. He gave people motivation to want him dead.
I mentioned at the start of this post that the sliding scale of villainy doesn’t matter, and that brings me to Sera.
Sera isn’t evil. She doesn’t directly cause bad things. But that “directly” is doing a lot of heavy lifting, because Sera is an enabler. She doesn’t have a moral compass at all. She doesn’t stand for anything, so she lets everything happen.
She doesn’t do the genocide, she doesn’t want to be a part of it, and she thinks that makes her a saint. But then again, she had the power to stop it, and the choice to do nothing is still a choice.
General lump of ice for anyone who wants it. If you ever find yourself smiling like a maniac with literal hellfire reflected in your eyes, maybe reconsider your life a bit.
Sera could have said “no” and been done with it. But instead, she signed herself up for a lifetime of subterfuge because it seemed easier at the time. Theoretically, Sera isn’t as bad as the others, but in practicality, oh yes she is.
Sera’s lack of morality is actually what inspired me to analyse this entire musical, because her part in this song is so crucial to my understanding of the musical as a whole and I haven’t seen anybody else’s reading factor this in at all.
“I thought cause I’m older,
it’s my load to shoulder.”
“No”
“You have to listen,
it was such a hard decision
I wanted to save you
the anguish it takes to
Do what was required…”
Sera doesn’t defend the genocide; she defends her decision to lie. Even when called out on it, it doesn’t occur to her that the murder of civilians is what people are upset about.
There are two possible readings here, the first being deflection and the second being indifference.
Deflection is simple. She gets called out for murder and she apologises for lying. That’s not remotely the point, but if you can get someone tangled up in an argument that they didn’t sign up for, you can twist their words into something they didn’t mean.
Anger is a volatile emotion, but it can be lead astray. Deceit is not an easy thing to justify, but it’s a lot less difficult than systematic oppression, so Sera might be steering the conversation to something where she is on slightly less of a rough footing.
The other reading is indifference. Sera genuinely doesn’t care about morality, and so she is trying to keep her public face. She is the leader of… is Heaven a country? Is it a city? What is Heaven? Anyway, Sera is in a leadership position, and so she has made the decision to maintain her image first and foremost.
She spins the genocide as something that was required and starts defending the lie, because that’s what she thinks is most important. To her, the genocide was required, but to that I ask: for what?
Like, what is the end goal here?
Adam has presented the idea that the genocide makes him feel good. Lute is of the opinion that the sinners deserved it. But Sera says “required.” For what?
Is she required to let Adam do what he wants? Is she trying to find a middle ground between “no genocide” and “yes genocide” and landing on “some genocide”?
Alternatively, does Sera think it is required to keep the population of Hell down, so they don’t rise up? Does she think this is needed for her own security? Is it for control? Because, if that’s the case, I think she is talking bollocks.
You don’t need to murder someone to not feel threatened by them, and there are better ways of coexistence than control.
Sera returns to what I said earlier about villainy being difficult. She didn’t need to go along with the genocide. It wasn’t required. But she chose to, and that makes her stand alongside Adam and Lute.
Before I finish up, let’s talk about the drums.
The song is dense, and has a lot of moving parts, so as a storytelling technique, the drums are really impressive. Not only to they separate the sections and make the story easier to digest, adding to the vibes of each part while keeping the momentum going, but they also join the sections with fills to ease the transitions between disparate parts of the story.
The song starts out with no percussion as Emily pleads with the court and specifically with Sera. Then Charlie brings some backbone to the conversation with the concept of fairness, and we get a steady, repeated beat, like boxers circling each other.
We get a fill into the marching beat that backs up Lute’s solo, before a chorus from a rock song follows Adam’s input in the conversation. So far, so good.
Then Adam ruins everything, and the song abruptly cuts back to Emily, who suddenly has percussion accompanying her voice. Although, it is off kilter and unsteady, unsure if it should be here or not. It’s uneasy as Emily tries to work out what is happening and how to feel. Something is wrong, and her music is evolving to keep up.
Sera’s section messes with this in a way I love. Starting off mimicking Emily’s exactly with the unsteady beat as if to say “I’m with you.” Although it adds some bass drum, specifically the rhythm played during Adam and Lute’s chorus.
Then, as she says the line about doing what was required, Emily’s rhythm cuts out entirely to show the falseness of this offer. Sera and Adam are entirely aligned here.
Emily is back, and her rhythm is gaining more and more confidence as she gets more and more angry.
“Was talk of virtue just pretention?
Was I too naïve to expect you…”
We’re building to a final chorus, and we get a quiet fill before a surprisingly understated chorus.
“If Hell is forever than heaven must be a lie.”
The perfect world is built on suffering, which means it can’t be a perfect world. Everything else falls away, including the drums, into short punches that are just off beat enough to feel natural. This is just brutality. Messy, unrestrained, hammering. This is the point; this is the centerpiece of the musical.
Then the drums cut out entirely for the final moments to underscore the revelation, and the song wraps up.
Final Thoughts
I’m about to spoil the rest of the musical, so be warned.
I want Sera to be redeemed so much, and I actually think it might happen, here’s why.
First, I think it would be funny. I think Sir Pentious being in heaven would be an excuse to torment her into changing. Like, she gets so frustrated by the snake boy who’s voice she recognizes for some reason, and who proves her wrong so entirely, but whom she can’t escape from and whom she can’t bring herself to dislike.
Drag the angel, kicking and screaming, into being a better person. Commit to the theme, damn it.
But I do think there is a chance of this actually happening, and that is because of the expressions that Sera makes. When Emily snaps, the show makes a point of showing Sera’s response, and it is abject horror and sadness. There is no anger or spite there, it is just shock and terror.
A sinner couldn’t convince her, but she is willing to listen to Emily, and that is the expression of someone who’s entire world just came crashing down.
Maybe it’s the fear that Emily will fall like Lucifer, or maybe it’s the fear that she won’t. I cannot wait to find out.
Next week, however, is Out for Love, and I have thoughts about that song. So stick around if that interests you.

you know, im actually tired of azriel's bonus chapter being talked 24/7 like its the most major thing ever. I never seen people get worked up on a bonus chapter that didnt even happen at the end of the book! acosf is the reason why this fandom is so toxic!
Hey anon 🫶
I definitely agree. Bonuses aren’t meant to be given such significance as Azriel’s bonus is given. At this point, His bonus seems to be more important then the foreshadowing in ACOSF it self.
“The shadows were ready to strike Nesta when she insulted Elain during their fight? Doesn’t matter because In Azriel’s bonus they disappear therefore that’s the only proof I need to claim that they absolutely despise and fear her 🥸”
Its a BONUS chapter, that too it was only part of a limited special edition. Let’s be realistic for a second - if someone hadn’t posted it online for everyone to see, those of us who hadn’t brought the SE, we would not know the contents of the bonus. If someone hadn’t kept up with SJM and JUST picked up acosf after reading acotar but is unaware of any bonuses, they too would not know about what occurred in Azriel’s bonus, why? Because its information that is not required to know. Its just an EXTRA. That confirms some suspicions in SF. I can go into detail to prove the irrelevancy of the bonus but ACOSF already tells you everything you need to know for the next book. I hadn’t read Azriel’s bonus until two years ago. Before reading it - elriel, much like Nessian, were blatantly obvious. After reading it? Elriel is still endgame. The reason the bonus is so talked about is due to the fact an entire ship relies on it. Gwynriel’s do not have anything in acosf to prove their ship, its just a bunch of out of context scenes and dialogues that aren’t in any way romantic or foreshadowing. Add in the bonus and GA have something to grasp onto even though it contradicts the book and well…the bonus itself lmfao. Then you have eluciens using the bonus as some concrete proof elriel is toxic and a future abusive relationship. That Azriel is an incel who only wants Elain superficially and Elain is just a little, clueless child who walks around lying to people about what she wants.
Antis CLUTCH onto the bonus as most of their arguments and claims use it as “proof” for whatever anti elriel bs they want to spread. But their points only make sense with the bonus, not without which tells you all you need to know about how valid their arguments are.
Feysands bonus is not talked about bcs it easily disproves gwynriel/elucien. Wings and Ember is only used as a way to show how “toxic” Cassian is otherwise its kept under wraps bcs once again, it disproves antis takes. If you had something that dismissed your entire ships within a couple of lines - ofc you’d avoid it like the plague. Its only Azriels bonus that can give them some hope that their worst nightmare won’t come true. That too, the hope is given after they twist and turn the scenes to fit their narratives.
It’s so important to understand elriels bonus sorry, Azriel’s bonus happens during acosf and not after. Its not the end of the book, after the bonus - there is no change or shift in the dynamic between Gwyn and Azriel. They remain as your usual mentor/mentoree duo. Even more important to remember is in regards to Gwynriel, nothing in the bonus is mentioned. Not their session, not the “spark”, not the necklace. Absolutely nothing. Why? Because it is irrelevant. Yet we get told about Azriel’s mood being off which relates to the elriel part of the bonus directly paralleling Cassian after his bonus w Nesta. Because THAT is relevant.
YEP. The fandom was toxic pre-acosf but it’s nothing compared to now. Unless you’re surrounding yourself with content you like and want to see - you can’t just enjoy general fandom spaces anymore.
Acosf brought up:
Anti Feysand agenda
Nesta vs inner circle
critique of the IC
Pro Tamlin apologists to the point of invalidating Feyre’s trauma
The infamous ship war
Anti Nessian vs pro Nesris
Readers opinion being pushed more then Authors intent.
I hope after Elains book - the fandom goes back to being semi-toxic again and more tolerable/enjoyable then it is now.
#Sidenote: i was happy to receive a genuine ask & not the asks the stupid trolls have been sending for the past few days 😭#elriel#pro elriel#azriel acosf#azriel bonus chapter
