Distract me please Bc alone with my own thoughts Im likely to be appeased with the disease Of me Anti world anti nation A place where we don't admire popularized congregation Where i am me & i see that Where you & me exist Yet without that Nall without this The it shit, do this drink that bit That i did it just watch & see Now devalue yourself & follow me Me as she She not me The me nobody knows But the 1 with the key

My sis says Ive been running my whole life & that i am In search of what I give To refuel me & validate my whims I am somebody & my thoughts matter You are not a disaster bc your not valued by yout pockets chitter chatter Pitter patter I lost it all & found my soul To beautiful to hold To big to scold Just sit and admire as they do me As i feel like an awkward bird who cant get up the tree The tree of confidence Or the tree of bold The tree which will illuminate all the things My mind holds

frustrations + jealousy

frustrations + jealousy one leads to the next I cant get to my vision Im asking damn whats next I cant get to my vision because I m basking in yours                                                                                       I fill that void with feelings of neglect damn whats next

it seems as if that story your telling is all a text which the world subscribed to                                                                 not wanting to miss a beat

frustrations + jealousy I admit my inability to commit to one thing or omit a decision has aided my incompetence

I use to think I had it all mapped out all but my route - - - which flashes to me and goes as if a thief in the night transposes his nose to eyes to steal and reveal the things my soul needs to heal and exposes them for a value of a quarter percentage yet I still anticipate the day you bask in my image

damn I made it and not the easy way

but how we all got this room doesn't matter anyway

step by step I battled myself

I unlocked the matrix with the key I was born with

now I moved on from searching myself to searching through books I know the ancient text are evolving now and the spirit of my ancestors is rassling and resounding now

as they edit and the masses are populating islands        lying idly by busy yet barren

the world is sick with stories being told of the last vict life being took so quick as we await trial we all know he’ll be acquitted of the crime

In the past 28 years I have learned to

ignore people

ignore myself

shrink myself

apply myself for financial gain

be alone

protect myself

be repetitive

follow culture trends

fear love

fear freedom of self judgement

defer my dreams

attain debt

be quiet

be silent, even when my soul is screaming

pacify the male ego

be resourcefully homeless

speak directly

be honest with myself

lie to myself

live beyond my means

live beneath my means

hide love

hide from myself

find faith

lose faith 

regain faith

may I close my twenties with the resiliency from my past while fighting for my future
