I started making a digital sketch journal kind of thing? I want to draw a little something every day, and I figure since I write on my journal every day, drawing what I’m writing about would work.

I put one of my zines in a free little library about a week ago and it’s gone today! It’s nice to know that someone took it with them, and I hope they enjoyed it.

An important meeting.

I went to watch this last night. I got there late and ended up on some overlook. I had no clue how to get down to the seating, so I watched it from the overlook. It was probably better that way anyway, since the seats were pretty full. I’m not overly fond of crowds, so.

I would highly recommend it if you ever get a chance to see it. It’s incredibly relevant in today’s society, despite being written in 1673.

Argan is basically everyone, albeit a bit more subtly, and in different ways. It’s not always about health. What I got from it is that some people would rather believe they’re a victim than take any responsibility for their own lives, then act like the world is obligated to do their bidding because they’re suffering. All the while they will do anything to continue playing the part of the victim, including falling prey to people who want to use their victimhood to better themselves.

The problem with allegories is that people tend to have a hard time recognizing themselves in them because the situation is only vaguely similar to their own.
