From Batman the brave and the bold

Vixen (girlboss mode fully activated): “I have a wife.”

Batman (blinks in surprise, but supportive and lowkey nosy): “I didn’t know you were a lesbian... can I see her?”

Cue B’wana Beast walking up all smiley like a golden retriever who just spotted his favorite person. Vixen points to him.

Vixen: “That’s my wife right there.”

Batman (mentally blue-screening all confused): “But… that’s a man??”

Vixen looks at her man her “Bwannie” (yes that’s what she calls him), and he just gives her that dopey smile like, “yep, that’s me.”

Then she turns back to Batman, suddenly all intense,eyes glowing energy:

Vixen (voice drops 10 octaves): “A man who is my wife.”

Then immediately switches back to sunshine mode and skips off with her “wife” like nothing happened, while Batman is left standing there still trying to process this plot twist like he got hit with a riddle and no time to answer.

Headcanon Time: Batman + Vixen’s “I Have a Wife” Moment

Okay but listen.

My headcanon is that Batman is actually super supportive of LGBT+ identities and relationships. He might be all broody and expressionless on the outside, but deep down? He’s respectful,observant,and lowkey wants everyone to be happy but he just won’t say it out loud.

So when Vixen,queen of confidence and a amazing African girlboss, just casually drops,

“I have a wife,”

Bruce is like-pause- but then nods like:

“I didn’t know you were a lesbian. Can I meet her?”

Because he’s that quiet supportive friend.He doesn’t make a big deal, he doesn’t judge, he just wants to meet this amazing woman Vixen is clearly proud of. Maybe shake her hand.or better maybe Offer her a Bat-badge of approval in his bat way

Then B’wana Beast shows up,all smiley golden retriever energy,and Vixen just points:
