This is actually a pretty interesting tangent.

Especially if you take it to the extreme because some settings explicitly don't have narrative weights attached to them and everyone in it is as close to an actual person as you can be while being fictional.

Granted I only know one such story where it's explicitly spelled out, that being Exponential Power, after the Omniverse was made real by the embodiment of the Multiverse.

Then again it's not strictly speaking a superhero story, it's more of a philosophical exploration on power more than anything else, with some characters in the story explicitly being aware of the 4th Wall including the various Truth Embodiments alongside a masquerade in place to keep the MC, Blake Morgan, unaware everyone is fictional since he holds autonomy and free will in high esteem given the fact his power in mind control that quickly turned memetic and at the current point of the story it's at Omniverseal levels.

My Earth was just like yours prior to 2007. After? After that 80% of the population on every planet in the universe suddenly got a 4 way split between 4 superpowers. Super speed, strength, flight, and intelligence.

Ben Tennyson and Ben Florian would absolutely be bffs if they existed in the same setting and Tennyson would 100% have Florian's back on the Isle program too and not closing the barrier forever.

Granted, Ben wouldn't be down with taking it down forever either since plenty of the people in it are genocidal or worse monsters, especially if his villains were in it too. But the kids on the Isle? Absolutely don't deserve to be on it much less trapped.

Yo everyone who's bought the Ben 10 complete collection, be warned it's false advertising. It's missing half of Omniverse season 4&5 alongside all of 6&7.

I dunno if you've bought it yet or not @catgirlxox but just in case you have I'd definitely consider returning it.

Ok so a continuation of this since shit went down in MLB since this post and holy FUCK Ben would LOATHE Mari after what she did in the season 5 finale.

If I ever do a Miraculous Ladybug crossover where Ben is stuck in MLB Paris for like season 4 onward Ben absolutely would clock Adrien’s whole thing (the fact his friends don't really seem to treat him like such or listen to him when he's worried and shit) and he'd hate Gabriel with a passion since he'd be able to see the abuse a mile away (it's not like Adrien was actively trying to hide it).

If he finds out about Sentimonsters and the fact Adrien is one he'd immediately fucking tell him. Because that's not a fucking secret you keep let alone the fact his father was a fucking supervillain.
