I was inspired by a friend’s beepbox creations and tried it out myself right away. 

Each song you create using BeepBox is stored in a unique URL. Every time you edit part of the song, the URL changes. BeepBox’s Twitter is a good place to listen to songs shared by other creators.

I traced three separate photos in a vector graphics program called Inkscape: a monarch butterfly, aster flowers, and a squirrel. The background, I painted in Krita. Then I blurred to simulate depth of field and added a water color filter. In the foreground, I painted in some grass and added effects to the butterfly to suggest movement. To finish things off, I brought in some some purple water color effect and a bit sparkle to bring the concept to life.

There is no shortage of inspiration when it comes to Disney classics like Alice in Wonderland & Sleeping Beauty. The Alice&Aurora image is composed using elements inspired by their movies’ namesake. In one of the opening scenes in Alice in Wonderland, Alice is in a field of daisies with her cat Dinah and later on the movie, some gossipy talking flowers speculate that Alice might be a wildflower or maybe a weed. In Sleeping Beauty, the princess Aurora is referred to as Briar Rose while she’s in hiding.
