okay hi guys rant time

why do people insist that carter and terry didn't care about each other?

that was literally his girlfriend i think he cared

they held hands and stayed together the entire time in the airport (which is a given but like) they both definitely have other friends but they stayed with each other

i'm pretty sure in the premonition when the turbulence thingy started carter put his arm over her but maybe i'm delusional. anyway

they like. very clearly love each other. she didn't have to get off the plane when he got kicked off for fighting but went with him anyway even if it meant her trip being messed up too

like. they're constantly together. at the memorial, and then in the car

she broke up with him because he was letting alex cloud his judgement, i don't think it was because she genuinely stopped liking him. she just needed to move on if he was going to continue down that path

people say he didn't care when she died because he didn't have an outward reaction but he DEF did care

it's clear that carter isn't good with regulating and controlling his emotions. this could stretch to grief as well

he was definitely in shock because of how sudden she died, but maybe even after that he didn't know quite how to regulate what he was feeling

"carter didn't care about terry after she died!" umm but he literally did. when they meet at the memorial he quite literally tried to carve her name into it because he thinks she deserved to be there. sounds like caring to me!

when they're in the car and he starts driving recklessly he says something like "me and terry will be together on the other side" so like. he very clearly misses and cares for her

even in paris he mentions her

they loved each other guys. pls stop forgetting that 😅
