Explanation below (if you want it)

What I say I am

I’m pretty sure everyone knows these flags but incase you don’t.

The blue and pink flag is the Transgender flag, I am FTM (Female to Male)

The orange and blue flag is the Aroace flag, I experience little to no romantic or sexual attraction.

What I actually am

This is where it might get complicated, I know the majority of people don’t know these flags, so let’s go top to bottom.

The top blue and gray flag is the Gray-AroAce flag,

This means that i am gray-romantic and gray-sexual, however I don’t experience them the same way,

I am gray-romantic in the way I don’t experience romantic attraction very frequently, roughly only twice in my life and I likely won’t hit the double digits for the rest of my life.

I am gray-sexual in the way I do experience sexual attraction but it is extremely weak and can flicker. I don’t quite know if I’d be willing to get intimate with someone but that’s not something you or I need to be worrying about right now.

The second blue and light green flag is the BoyFlux flag, BoyFlux is basically someone being a boy but feeling the intensity of which they are a boy/masculine weaken or strengthen, it’s hard to explain look it up if you want to. I will say, for myself I never reach a fully androgynous gender I am always at least at a Demi-boy range.

The last one and one people tend to misunderstand is the Heteroflexible flag,

This flag is a mircolabel flag, it’s a flag for a bisexual preference, I’m about 81% attracted to women and 19% attracted to men, I say Heteroflexible instead of Bisexual because I just feel like Bisexual doesn’t fully describe who I am even though it is technically correct for me.

This is in conjunction with my Gray-AroAce flag so imagine how hard this was to figure out, basically when I do feel attraction it is through that and to these genders, non-binary people are at a nice middle between men and women for me.

I need writing help, I’m making a story about a world in which two nuclear bombs called The Gamines dropped and basically changed the world. These bombs caused people to gain basically superpowers but I’ve called them mutations in my story. The story takes place mostly in a High school, this high school as you probably guessed is a superhero high school. I’m trying to name the school with the initials WHDK or WHD but i cannot figure out for the life of me what these letters should stand for. The WH could stand for Wilhelm Heinrich, but I’m not sure about the DK or D. Any ideas? 😭 (If it helps the story is set in the 3000s and the loop of trends has brought back things that were popular in the 2000s but also specifically things in the 70s)

Writing characters is so funny, what do you mean my character is inspired by Wally Darling from Welcome Home looks wise, Him from PowerPuff Girls concept wise and Sapphire from Steven Universe personality wise.

Bro I know I haven’t been posting much about P:EG, (I haven’t had the motivation to work on the half finished things I have for it) but I have been working on various original writing ideas and on rewrites of games and shows I enjoy. The thing no one tells you about making rewrites and redesigns is that you’ll eventually spend so much time making it you wish it was your own original story 😭

Like bro I wish I could turn this rewrite into my own story but it’s not that different from the source so it’s just like copying, and I’ve tried to change it in different ways to see if I could make a part of it into an original story but I can’t 😫

(In all honesty I could since these just live in my notes app and on TikTok, they aren’t really going anywhere, but I’d feel an impending sense of doom if I did.)

This is different than what I normally post, but I present my poem about an Asexual relationship:

Star-Breasted Girl

One night I will see this girl

With hair as bright as light

And breasts large as stars

That is to say, incredibly large

And we will meet under the moon

Maybe a night in July, or in June

She will say something stupid

Stupid enough to make me swoon

But I wont dare to touch her

And she wont touch me

She will have seen

My eyes as deep as the earth’s core

And my mouth as open as the plains

I’d have told her a joke or two

Three to make her blush

But she wont dare to touch me

At least not very much

Analysis of my own poem below ⬇️

The idea for this was despite both of the people in the poem having features commonly seen as attractive (“breasts as large as stars”) or lewd (“my mouth as open as the plains”) they don’t or rarely ever get intimate, and regardless of that they still enjoy their relationship and love each other’s company.

Basically: a relationship with little to no sex. Like how Asexuality is defined as “little to no sexual attraction”

P:EG Playlists

I decided to make playlists for each student based on what genres and songs I think they’d listen to, obviously this just my opinion, feel free to disagree! (Part Two)

Ingrid Grimwall

I chose Folk and Country for her playlist. I think it’s kinda obvious why this was chosen but I can still explain. I chose Country due to her accent and also her mannerisms. I chose Folk due to that song she sings when she does Laundry, it’s not a folk song but for some reason it just reminded me of Folk Music.

Wenona

I chose Yacht Rock and Opera for her playlist. I chose Yacht Rock due to Wenona believing she is better than others, so figured she’d chose music that is “better than others”, Yacht Rock is a softer rock and also contains inspirations from R&B music which gives it a smoother sound. I chose Opera because she’s rich and she’s herself as refined. I also just think she’d enjoy the sound of Opera.

Cassidy Amber

I chose Pop Rock, Punk Rock, VGM (Video Game Music) and some Hip-Hop for her playlist. I chose Pop Rock and Punk Rock due to their more erratic and creative sounds, but also because of their often political messages. Cassidy holds strong opinions on billionaires so it’s possible that she holds other opinions similar to it. VGM is an obvious pick as she’s a Pro Gamer, Hip-Hop was chosen because I think she’d be a ICP fan.

Jett Dawson

I chose Disco, Power Pop, and Punk Rock for his playlist. When I think of music that Jett would listen to I immediately think of the music that you would hear your father listening to, I don’t know why but it’s just his vibe. Disco was one I immediately came up with for him because you can’t tell me that man doesn’t absolutely get down to Let’s Groove Tonight, the other two kind of just fell into place after that.

Mark Berskii

I chose Hip-Hop, Rap, Alternative, and couple other genres for his playlist. This one was kind of hard for me because I was sitting here thinking “What music do people who make music listen to?” I don’t think it’s stated what kind of music Mark makes in canon, I know it’s remixes though so I assumed EDM, for whatever reason. So then I came up with Rap, I really think he’d listen to Rap music, specifically female Rap music, I don’t know why but it just feels right. Hip-Hop and the other genres just kind of followed after, like it just made sense.

Diana Venicia

I chose Pop and Indie Pop for her playlist. Not much of an explanation for this one, I just she’s kind of person to like what’s popular but not be a follower, that’s why I added Indie pop and some Pop songs that aren’t as recent. She’s not stuck only liking what is currently popular. Also just look at her and tell me she doesn’t dance to Chappell Roan in her room.

Kai Monteago

I chose Krautrock, Bubblegrunge, and Vocal Jazz for his playlist. I feel like Kai wouldn’t admit to his music taste, even though it’s good in my opinion, I think he’d just say he likes whatever artists are popular to make people like him as much as he can. I don’t have much reasoning why I chose these genres, It just felt very Kai to me. Some songs were picked based on album covers that were in his room and fit the playlist.

Ulysses Wilhelm

I chose Oldies and Showtunes for his playlist. It’s fairly obvious why I chose Oldies, but in addition to the obvious reason I just genuinely think he’d like songs with an older sound. As for Showtunes, I just really wanted to put Hamilton songs in his playlist, but also he seems like a musical kind of guy I won’t lie. I also wanted songs from Cabaret in there desperately.

P:EG Playlists

I decided to make playlists for each student based on what genres and songs I think they’d listen to, obviously this just my opinion, feel free to disagree! (Part One)

Damon Maitsu

I decided on Classical, Study Music, and Japanese Jazz for what music I think Damon would listen to. Damon spends a lot of time studying and is uptight so I think he’d chose something “refined” and something that could help him focus on studying, Japanese Jazz is the funniest music he listens to.

Eva Tsunaka

I chose Weird-core, Nerd-core, and various Indie Sub-genres for her playlist, I think she’s a huge nerd (she wants to go to a fan convention, her “it’s like one of my Japanese animes” line, and just overall…her) so I think, although she’d never admit it, that she’d listen to fan songs and the like. She also seems to like things that are odd, so I figured weird-core music would go well with the rest of the playlist.

Grace Madison

I chose Screamo, Indie Rock, and Hardbag for her playlist. Obviously, Grace is a person who holds a lot of anger so I think listening to Screamo and some Indie Rock could be cathartic to her. However, I do feel there is a side to her where she likes to enjoy herself, to just have fun, so that’s why I chose Hardbag to go along with it.

Wolfgang Akire

I chose Blues, Gospel, Neo-Soul, and Oldies for his playlist. This was based on pure vibes, I won’t lie. He just seems like he’d enjoy older music and in-turn music that is influenced by older music, I can imagine his mom playing music that he ended up liking when he was older.

Toshiko Kayura

I chose J-Pop and Pop Ballad for her playlist. Toshiko seems to enjoy her culture a lot for someone her age living in America, so I figured she might enjoy J-Pop, then I figured I might add American Pop as well. But then I started thinking, she’s very dramatic, so she might enjoy Pop Ballads more than just Pop.

Eloise Taulner

I chose Indie Rock, Folk Rock, and Riot Grrrl for her playlist. Some of you might be looking at me like this 🤨. I can explain, if you play her FTEs she gets overwhelming angry at Damon and leaves, obviously that’s not enough to say that she likes this music, but if you take a look back at how she acts with the knowledge in mind that she may be holding in a lot of anger it makes sense, I’ve also heard people mention that the particular fencing tool she uses is associated with more aggressive and argumentative fencers as well. So I feel that she may have some anger within her, and listening to music like this might give her some comfort. Also she just seems like the type to like Folk Rock.

Desmond Hall

I chose Motown, Jazz, New Wave, and Rock for his playlist. I won’t lie, I was listening to Motown while I was making some of these playlists and I just wanted to add it to a playlist. I chose these genres purely based on vibes, I don’t really have a reason for these other than he’s a chill guy.

Jean Delamer

I chose Sea Shanties, Indie Folk, and Neo-folk for his playlist. Obviously Sea shanties, he mentions one in his FTEs but even if he didn’t it would’ve ended up on here. As for Indie Folk and Neo-folk, I just thought it complimented the Sea Shanties well and made for a better playlist to listen to, I don’t imagine very many people wanting to listen to just Sea Shanties and I wanted to add more than one genre. I think Jean’s music taste would be expanded by his crew, someone there probably listens to Indie folk.

Writing Process

Out of the 3 main groups of poetry I decided to choose dramatic poetry instead of lyric or narrative. I wrote this poem in couplets with an interjection of repetition between each one until the ending. The reason I chose this is because Eva is a repetitive person in way, she begins to become happy and than ends up unhappy again either due to her circumstances or herself, the repetition also gives off a feeling of desperation that Eva holds within herself. As for the couplets, I chose it due to Eva’s two sides of herself, the ideal version and the true version. She seems to believe that being this ideal version of herself will help with all her issues, that it will protect her and give herself, so I decided to make that the main image being pushed in the poem.

Writing Process

I decided to give Damon a poem that’s very much a classic poem, there’s many different forms of poetry with the main groupings being narrative, dramatic, and lyric. Damon’s is meant to be more narrative (but it’s actually closer to being a lyric poem) and follow a simple rhyming scheme, i chose this because he’s our protagonist. When I look at Damon and who we see as an audience so far, I see a simple narrative poem, but that’s not a bad thing, poems are beautiful and often the most simple poems are the ones that really capture the audience and can easily express an emotion.

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.
