To experience the future might be awesome, let’s hope so! Utopias, in which conscious beings live ever better life’s, are worth striving for. I guess, that is what the epic Atlantis saga on humanity’s journey through history was always about.

Two humans, one says to the other: "Look, an Artificial Intelligence! They'll never amount to anything."

Books, Movies, Shows, Videogames, Simulations? Are immersive Stories next?

What if the most likely reason for creating world simulations is to make stories become fully immersive? Imagine books suddenly becoming real worlds you can experience, instead of only being a collection of mere words to read. Maybe those types outnumber ancestor, nursery and game simulations by far. What could this mean for existing as a conscious entity?

Creating new individuals inside nursery simulations, set in the beginning of the computer age, might be one of the easiest ancestor simulations to do. An Ai could simply reconstruct the timeline, including all stories, movies, and events, by using data available in the internet.

The future is magic beyond our imaginations:

Maybe we should begin to think of our technology as a part of us, instead of making our own creations independent by our existence in this realm. Since we are part of this universe, nature, and lastly reality, we are also part of the ongoing evolutionary process of planet earth and the universe. So maybe we could think of all that as a way of Natural Ascension. Try to view it from this perspective:

Maybe the advancements in technology that sparked the digital revolution and are currently driving the development of complex artificial intelligence are integral to the natural evolutionary progression of consciousness on planet Earth.

Who knows what awaits us beyond today? Every technological civilization advanced far enough, might look like magic to us today. Our future as a species is beyond our imaginations. We might change in mind and shape so much, we wouldn’t even recognize our species or civilization anymore. I think that’s amazing. Just imagine telling someone a century ago about a smartphone, crazy isn’t it?
