Dear Future Partner:

I want you to know that our house will probably always look like a jungle and that there will always be books. Books everywhere. My dowry will be a handful of vinyl records and my rock collection comes with me. I tend to fall in love with ugly things in thrift store and need to bring them home so our house probably won't ever be stylish. Also: strays everywhere. Dogs, cats, people, whatever. Art supplies for days. ART FOR DAYS.

I also promise to fill our home with love. I promise to cherish you and all the things you bring to the table too.

Mostly harmless, probably frustrating

My friend and I are using our combined brains to think up objects with useless curses. So far:

- a book that always tells you exactly what you had for breakfast that day

- a knife that won't cut

- a crystal ball that only let's you see ten seconds into the past

- a candy dish that replenishes itself, but only with your least favorite candy

- a magic 8 ball that gives you accurate answers in the form of riddles you can't decipher

- a watch that only works when you're late

- a mask that turns itself into a mask of your face

- dice that never land on one side

- sunglasses that let you see people naked, so long as you're not looking directly at them

- a card deck that always gives you paper cuts

This is probably the most entertaining conversation I've ever had
