This has been the first time I have been excited for a marvel movie (not d&w) after Shang Chi. The trailer looks really good but does not reveal much which is a great thing!!! Seeing a trailer and thinking maybe I'll ask to go see it in the theatres gives me so much joy.

Im really excited to see what they do with all the characters too! Especially Bucky, cause how did he go from cool uncle with crazy lore who visits once in a while to sad depressed hobo with a fuckass bob????

I actually love Yelena and I am sooooo pumped to see what they do with her!

Also this is the first movie after a while in which marvel is working on ground level. No multiverse, space, or out of pocket stuff. Just a simple movie on Earth.

So excited for Thunderbolts!!!!!!

So I kept getting Thunderbolts trailer gifs, so I finally set down Tumblr to go watch the new trailer.

I have been very carefully been avoiding getting excited about the Thunderbolts. They're putting my precious Bucky in a movie. It could be a shit movie that completely ruins his character. You know, like they have a history of doing with super soldiers who abandon their friends to go back in time.

This trailer has e hyped though. I love that it seems centered on Yelena. And that trying to find a purpose thing. Feels like Wade's trying to figure out how to matter in D&W, and that worked really well.

I just watched again I missed John's little "Is that Bucky?" the first time because I was screaming. :D

It just looks like even if they do Bucky wrong it's still gonna be a good movie, you know what I mean? With good arcs for the other characters. And in turn that makes me a little less worried that they'll do Bucky wrong.

Oh my god when he shot the thing at the end I fucking screamed though. I love that they specifically paralleled that scene from CATWS. And that moment when we were in the theaters going "Is that Bucky?" by having John say it out loud. Brilliant.

there's no possible way Wade would be able to resist making a "they don't call me the merc with the mouth for nothing" joke almost every time he gives Logan head

and there's no way Logan wouldn't develop a pavlovian response to that, eventually

and there's nO way Wade wouldn't think that was the funniest thing ever and use it to fuck with Logan at the worst possible time

See Logan is very soft and loving and gentle with whoever is lucky enough to have his affections. So I think once he began to realize his feelings for Wade he almost immediately stop hurting him.

And this would confuse the hell out of Wade.

So much so that he starts doing extra annoying shit just to make sure he hadn’t entered a new level of insane. Because did Logan seriously not stab him after he smacked his ass?? Did Logan really let him get away with calling him “baby girl” in front Laura?? Was James Logan Howlett’s only reaction to being kissed on the forehead with red lipstick really to just tell him to “don’t ever fucking do that again”???

He’d question Logan about it for sure and unsurprisingly he’d be evasive as fuck about it, he’d probably even deny it.

Mind you I think Wade does kind of like the pain and physical closeness the occasional stabbing from Logan brought him so not only is confused but he also kind of misses it and in some weird way thinks he did something wrong and he spends weeks trying to figure out why the The Wolverine suddenly stopping hurting him.

When he finally figures it out his head nearly explodes from excitement.

like sorry not sorry and I like angst as much as the next guy, but once logan and wade take the requisite year or two to fight it out, get their shit together, stop pining after each other, and finally start seriously “that’s my boyfriend” dating they are never breaking up. ever.

they’ve both lost too many people to let the one person that they can never lose go voluntarily.

I just had the most gut wrenching thought about deadpool and wolverine

I was just reading a fic in which there was a throwaway comment about al sometimes telling wade that he should sew his mouth shut ( lovingly of course, (in her own way) ) and my brain decided to spiral

what if someone somehow gets the jump on wade after like a gruelling merc job and kidnaps him??

and of course because they are terrible fucking people they sew his mouth shut and because of his healing factor his lips heal around whatever they used to sew his mouth shut

when logan finds him wade finally he is being tortured by shitty people looking to get revenge and he just rips apart everyone there

finally cause wade can't do it logan has to rip wade's mouth open with his claw

even though his mouth is not sewn shut wade still doesn't talk for sometime cause like even when he was being tortured by ajax when they were trying to bring out his mutation he was still allowed to talk but this time they didn't let him talk and he stays quiet for sometime and everyone tries to get him to talk somehow but he just isn't able to

and one night finally after something happens logan gets through to wade and he just breaks down completely cause wade is talking again and Logan just couldn't bear the thought of never hearing wade's voice again and wade also breaks down cause even though his life has been one trauma after another somethings rattle the shit outta you
