I loved the Minecraft movie and like the sense of community in the theater but like why did only 1 of like the 10 movies I’ve seen in theaters the past couple years not have a kid screaming the entire time.

It was Paddington in Peru by the way. That was a wonderful viewing experience because for some reason everyone was 16+

The dynamic of having a younger brother is so different than the dynamic of having a younger sister.

Like my brother being annoying like him asking me to make him Mac and cheese despite being fully capable of doing that himself. But my sister being a little annoying is like screaming at me and threatening me with a knife.

And like for their quirks it’s like my brother will just sit on my floor and talk to me for an hour whether or not I am paying attention and my sister will sneak into my room while I’m asleep and steal my things.

We do have little bonding moments though where like me and my brother will be playing in the same Minecraft world and not speaking at all or like my sister will just provide we with rocks and weird crafts

I personally actually despise person first language. Like what do you mean it’s more humanizing?? How are you forgetting that other people are still human?? It’s genuinely a you problem if you can’t remember someone is a person deserving of respect unless you say “person with ____”

Apparently getting really dizzy and then closing your eyes for a second and then it magically being 5 to 10 minutes later is not normal. I think I’ve been fainting a lot more than I thought. In my mind fainting is like when I fall on ground but apparently it can be I just like blackout for a bit and now I’m in a chair 10 minutes later.

Is this normal or am I going crazy 🫶

Hey ! Saw you roller derby post, and I would like to say, if you're very unsure about playing for any physical reason, don't hesitate to consider doing any non-playing roles ! There are skating and non-skating official roles that aren't in the melee and might be more suitable to your particular situation

That way you can still learn the game, improve your skating abilities, and be part of the sport and part of a team. If you have a local roller derby team nearby I'd reach out to them directly to see how they go about it

Is there any disabled roller derby players on tumblr?

I’ve had this interest in roller derby in the back of my mind since I first heard about it as a kid but like I have a really hard time rollerskating. I have POTS, chronic fatigue, a lot of joint issues, really bad exercise intolerance, and very weak ankles. So overall just a giant mess of issues that has prevented me from doing like literally any sport.

I really want to be able to do roller derby but I just don’t know if it’s a possibility for me :(

Some of it looks so horribly bad but like it’s ok because I turned it in on time
