I focus on the good in my life. This is hard to do at times when you have a storm going on. You have to look deeper. The more you focus on gratitude,The storms will continue to see if you will go back to focusing on the negative. Retrain your mind to be grateful for the things that matter in our lives. Even if you have very little be grateful because there are many who don’t have the little. Don’t let the tangible things you see on tv, social media create a reality for you. Never judge your success based on monetary value but your eyes of your own success. Focus on the good in life. While High Schoolers take final exams, I stand guard outside of the school. Our children are anxious after what happened in Texas and don’t want to go back to school. So to make sure they finish their final obligation of exams, I’ll be out here until the last day. Mom and Marine on duty to guard my community high school. The schools said they put extra security at each school, there was one officer posted🙄 that officer was in there phone the whole time😳, so yeah, she knew why I was there and gave me my space and I posted up PERIODT👊🏽 I wished someone would have said something to me😂 I love the babies and they are all my babies. Every time I look at my survivor bracelet I get emotional. It’s a reminder of how far I have come. After being traumatized while serving this country @mcas_cherry_point with empty promises and withheld information made by my recruiter Staff Sargeant Rhonda Pettit 🙄(Calling you out Bit**) Hiding ass Bitc** . The three females you recruited you ruined our careers 🤬My contract was voided the moment she did not disclose that 1 in 4 women would be sexually harassed or assaulted. That I was safer on my college campus then joining the Marine Corps. That there were sex offenders allowed to join to stay out of prison. That there was no help and they didn’t give a fuck about you. That I and other female Marines could end up on a website where Active Duty, and Veterans would post inappropriate comments as well as location of that Marine. Where they would speak on how they would sexually assault and other forms of torture against women. (Look up Marines United Facebook scandal) I am a survivor of the lies recruiter told, survivor of being betrayed by this country, survivor sent home with no support and to die, survivor of military sexual trauma @mcas_cherry_point survivor or dealing with the bitch ass Vetrans compensation process, survivor of all the Bullshit this country has put me and other survivors through. So with my healing wounds, I will keep sharing my story of how I survived a traumatic experience and all those responsible are roaming a community near you. ☮️❤️There is no justice in the military justice system. Supporting survivors of sexual assault by rocking my Denim for Denim Day. #weremyjeanstootight Did you know that Denim Day is an effort to show support for survivors and raise awareness about sexual assault violence? Denim Day first started in 1999. Inspired, Patti Occhiuzzo Giggans, Executive Director of Peace Over Violence, thought everyone should be wearing jeans to protest all of the myths about why women are raped. The day comes following a high profile Italian rape trial where the survivor was blamed for her rape because of the type of jeans she was wearing. In protest and solidarity, individuals are encouraged to wear denim to combat the idea that rape and sexual violence are the fault or responsibility of survivors. Denim Day is part of a global movement to raise awareness of sexual assault.
