So my favourite version of the Nightwing name origin is from Action Comics #886, where Nightwing is a dragon-like deity from a Kryptonian myth. He was created by Rao "to seek out evil and corruption that hides in the shadows; to pursue it and destroy it."

Very cool.

Anyway, it gave me an idea for an AU: what if, through some comic book shenanigans, Dick became the vessel for Nightwing of Krypton? ...You know, kind of Naruto-style? (Because apparently those old hyperfixations never really leave you xD)

Maybe it would have happened when he took on the name? Idk I just think it'd be neat

I will probably maybe redo the cape animation. one day. possibly. I also originally wanted it to be raining but unfortunately I am so very much not an animator (just a very ambitious character artist who occasionally bites off more than they can chew) and rain, it seems, is beyond my current capabilities :’)

Superman spoilers (?) technically, this scene was only mentioned by the characters (˘･･˘) art below

Needed more practice with these brushes and my partner suggested drawing the moment that was mentioned where superman held Ghurkos up against a cactus and superman pretty much said he peed his pants 😶

ended up coloring twice because i realized i 100% needed to adjust my brushes some more and am very happy how it came out this second time

I'm going to be so real right now.......................... I was reading Detective Comics #518 and came across a page that made me go "Batman and Deadshot scissoring?!" at first glance that I had to redraw it as soon as possible.

Second try with the kraftone brushes and I tried not to overthink this too much, just laying down lines and accepting if it wasn't perfect.

I got the KraftTone brush set from true grit supply and needed to immediately test them out with some linework of something I'm in the middle of.... and I literally love it so much, this set it so cool!!!! This was just test one but I already know i'm going to be playing with it more
