The only arguably incestuous/Freudian/Oedipal component to Keith and Shiro's relationship is that obvious Evangelion fans worked on Voltron: Legendary Defender, and still chose to parallel Shiro's essence being absorbed by the Black Lion with Shinji's mother's spirit being absorbed by EVA Unit 01.

Jason*smacks lips*: Jeez, he signs forms and things. A lot. I don't know why he just doesn't work from home full time, but what do I know. He's CEO of WayneTech.

Tim: He's CEO and head the legal team of WayneCorp. Yeah, they changed their name, you know, because of the lawsuit. They patented WayneCorp. The company works across sectors and industries. They've diversified to fashion.

Steph: My Dad's Cluemaster. Uh, it's so embarrassing. Wait. You mean, Bruce. HA! No, he's not my dad. But he's like Head of Wayne Technologies.

Cass: He's CEO of Wayne International. It's a Comcast company that also deals with pharmaceutical. Business is his....thing. It's like a language for him. He closes lots of deals.

Duke: CEO. Chief Economic Organiser. Yeah, yeah. Of Wayne Industries.

Damian: I don't know. He just leaves the house at 8:30, drops me off at school, and picks me up at 3:00. He has a passive income I'm sure. Earns 5,000 a week from his properties and investments.

whenever someone says shiro should've died an angel loses its wings because how on earth would that have made the story better?? the kuron storyline is actually one of the best concepts they've cooked up but the execution felt incredibly flat because they removed keith (the only connection Shiro really has) and barely made an effort for the other paladins and treated it like a background plot.

When Keith did come back it felt very rushed. (should've done a blades spin off but y’all didn't hear that from me.)

And the concept of black keeping shiro’s soul after it separated from his body is sick but they barely established black as a character and didn't flesh her out as a concept with the voltron lions lore.
