there is going to be an arguably even more important election than the presidency happening on january 5th in georgia. the two senate seats in their state did not reach enough of a majority in this election to decide a winner, so theyre doing a “run-off election”. 

if these two seats are won by democrats they will flip the senate to a MAJORITY for democrats. we will have the presidency, the house AND the senate if the democratic candidates in georgia win. the policies biden promised could have a better chance at being passed!

if you live in georgia PLEASE vote for the democratic senate candidates on january 5th

if you do not, i recommend donating to the candidates election fund! :)

I love Elena and Syd in ‘One Day At A Time’.

The show really accurately portrays what an lgbt+ relationship looks like and the struggles an lgbt person may face. (Also their relationship is really cute and dorky and awkward 🥰)

Elena is a lesbian and Syd is nonbinary (they/them pronouns💜)

In fact this whole show is awesome, not just for the lgbt representation.

It deals with many issues like drugs, alcohol, unsupportive parents, being a minority, etc.

Also the whole cast in latinx (I really hope I spelt that right) so that’s a bonus! Quite a few of the issues in the show revolves around that fact and I think that the creators have managed to do a wonderful job!

(I have been told that the show has good representation for the latinx community, I obviously can’t speak for the community as I am not latinx)

Okay Bernie stans.

I need you all to prepare yourselves to vote for Biden in November.  

I’m not happy about it either.  I wanted Elizabeth Warren to destroy Trump on the debate floor.  I wanted to watch her shatter the glass ceiling.  I wanted student loan forgiveness, Medicare for All, and refugee and immigrant protections.

But I’m not going to get that.  So I am going all in for Biden.

This can no longer be a matter of “well if I don’t get my way THEN I’M NOT VOTING”.  I’d hoped you all learned your lessons four years ago, but from what I’ve seen on social media, that’s not been the case.  Biden is not ideal but he is better than the alternative.  He is a Democrat who will continue Obama’s legacy.  And you have a shot in hell of getting progressive movements like Medicare for All under a blue majority Congress; we do not have that under Trump.  

Biden is more willing to listen to the progressive factions of the Democrat party than Trump is.  We will get shit done under him.    

We cannot survive a second term of Trump.  I need you all to hold your noses, put on your big girl pants, and deal with it.  Prepare to vote for Biden.

Just a reminder but many probably know-  If you want to watch but don’t have cable or access to it then you can try Youtube Free Trial - I think it’s only for 7 days so make sure to cancel if you don’t want to pay then there’s Fubo which has a 5 day trial. I also saw that Tvland will be airing the episode at 9:30 and that they offer a 24 hour pass. I assume that means you can watch the episode without signing in. Hope that helps some of you!
