Yoga anyone? Today is deep stretch day. It’s a must on recovery or active days to do mobility exercises and stretches to heal and relieve the sore muscles. This pose here is child pose, which is a good arm and lower back stretch. Go to YouTube and try some out. Thank me later. -hugs and kisses
My bday was great!!! Let’s normalize body positivity. After being hospitalized I was put back on a high dose of prednisone, which causes moon face (face to blow up and cheeks are huge). There is bloating in the mid section and overall increase fat in the body. My legs are swollen after walking and standing. Cramping everywhere due to low potassium. It’s awful at times and I feel the need to tell myself I’m ugly and fat. However, if there is someone out there that’s had the skinny and thicker version of themselves you’re not alone. But you’re beautiful no matter what. We must love ourselves because the sensitivity is pure and we are more emotional due to the pandemic. I love you! -hugs and kisses
It’s been a while how’s everybody doing mentally? I think checking in on strong friends and loved ones is a must! Don’t you agree? Sometimes the strong ones have the weakest moments in life but manage to put on a smile despite the bad or negative within and around them. Let’s focus on self care and love. 😍😘
America is in a crisis! Now it’s time to pray because it’s has become too much to see. The truth has always been in front of us yet they let white privileged individuals get away with anything. We did not make history to re-do history. Reread that last sentence as many times until it makes sense!!! Stay woke!!
I have been in a roller coaster lately. To update you guys I had fevers since September and have been feeling sick. So I stayed in bed, couldn’t really eat because of chest pain felt like fire when I drunk and ingested foods. I continued to sweat out the fevers and slept my days away. Finally I decided to stop being lazy and head to the doctor (knowing they don’t do much) I had COVID and flu test and they checked my vitals at urgent care. Then they said upper respiratory infection ,gave me prednisone, and sent me home. Now I took my meds for pain and kept resting after the visit. Fevers still kept going up over 100 two weeks later. I then went to the ER and they checked everything. The doctor told me my iron and kidney levels were low and high but all looked fine, and within eight hours I was sent home. Now weeks later fevers still and now weakness and stomach pains while sweating bad in bed it was excruciating. I took pain meds because I barely could move and it calmed it down. That week got worse went to urgent care and told them my symptoms. My fever was 103 that night. The doctor transferred me to the hospital because he was concerned about me having fevers for two months. I went to the hospital and was admitted after they took blood cultures. My kidneys are scarred, I’m at level four (acute kidney failure) there are six levels I believe. I’m now on dialysis hopefully once I get my lupus stabilized again with meds they will function again. I need prayers y’all. Now they closely checking my heart because of my chest pains as well.
I know it’s been quite a while, BUT....It’s National Voter Registration Day. There are voices that need to be heard. The veterans, the poor, immigrants, and the black community could use change. We need change, voting is inevitable and 2020 has been one heck of a year. Are you with me? Are you registered?
Love to work the back. Here I’m performing landmine rows. It targets the lats. Let’s get up and move around. I know how hard it is to shake the depression, dismay, and anxiety from quarantine and quarantine pounds. Don’t be so hard on yourselves! Much love and prayers.
