• In That Would Be Enough, Eliza says: "I wrote to the general a month ago". In Stay Alive we can see her writing the letter

• In Take A Break, when Angelica and Eliza reunite and say each other's names there is a slight pause for "and Peggy"

• In Stay Alive (reprise), Phillip says to Eliza "Mom, I'm sorry for forgetting what you taught me" because Eliza taught him how to count to 10 in Take A Break and he thought that mr. Eaker counted to 10 even though he didn't

Found out today that most people view arguments emotionally, and not about finding the "correct" side. Did anyone else not know this?

For the longest time, people would get really upset whenever I had an argument/debate with them, and I didn't understand why. Sure, I got mad occasionally, but it didn't last, and it certainly didn't affect my relationship with that person. I debate and argue to find the truth (or if it's subjective, the opinion that makes the most sense. I do understand that there are things that are just preferences, not talking about those.)

I might get my feelings hurt a bit if the other person is right and I'm not, but after a bit to cool down, I accept they're right, and move on. Usually I think more of that person because they were right.

And apparently this isn't normal??

When people get mad in an argument, they're actually hurt? And not just momentarily upset? I didn't know this, and am now re-thinking every thing I "know" about arguing.

Give her more connections with Nyla and Angela please and thank you, I would kill to see an ep where the three of them not only crack a big case, but close it on their own. Ik Nyla and Angela have done that plenty, but include Lucy! I wanna see her show up the boys!

And please please please let Lucy and Celina be good friends, they both need it!

I lowkey hate that the writers stopped giving Lucy a support system when Jackson died. We don't really see her having an actual friend after season 3, which coincides with Jackson death but also with the moment the writers decided to make Chenford happen, and i really think the writers fucked up on that front

I'm all for Chenford happening, don't get me wrong, but Lucy needs to have her own people too? Ffs they made sure Tim still has Angela, but we don't see Lucy rely or confide in anyone. She grew away from John, Harper and Angela are their own tight knit duo, she lives with Celina but they don't really build up their friendship that much

Is Lucy solely supposed to rely on Tim? Cause that's fucked up

All through season 7 we see her struggle but she doesn't confide into anyone really. I think she gets drunk with Celina once, she yaps at Grey, but that's it. Even Rachel they brought her back for.... nothing? And they made it so that the whole season, she keeps going back to Tim for comfort. Which is super cute and all but also super not healthy for her to have her only existing support system be her ex...

The more I think about it the more I'm scared the moment Chenford get together for real, they will forget Lucy as her own interesting and beautiful character and just write her as Tim's gf and she will lose all kind of connections to the rest of the cast

mmmmhmmm something about early seasons Chenford where Tim is fighting so hard against Lucy's attempts to care for him, coming to a head in S2E01 where he punishes her for trying to protect him and then tells her (during a call) that her default should be suspicion, not compassion. Something about his defensive, wounded-animal hostility when she correctly identifies his learning difference in S2E02, and the way his eyes go huge and shiny when she tells him there's no shame in it, gives him the audiobook and tells him he's a great cop. Something about the way in the next ep, he lets her set him up on a date, and starts discussing his personal life with her and how he just keeps getting softer with her from there on. She really did crack that man open like a bird bashing a snail on a rock to get at the soft underbelly, huh
