What hurt me about that ending is that there’s never an end to it. People might eventually die due to old age or smth (or not?), but Evbo won’t ever leave the position of a free life refill. He’ll always be there, stuck at the top of the world, still looking young and bright as the day he accepted the position, but with the weight of thousands of given lives. At some point, people will live in luxury, freely using and spending to their hearts desires, because their lifespan refill is just right around the corner. Evbo never gets a release; there’s no successor or future for Evbo. He’ll always be tied there, like a pretty sacrificial lamb always being led to the slaughter.

Mumbo and Skizz being raised by Cleo is so funny to me, these powers feel so specific to the person I almost wonder that Grian didn’t choose at least a few of these intentionally.

Even after death, he was still a weapon.. to have his body be used by the same CT that took over his closest friend, the only one who saw him as Satoru and not as the strongest..

I’m hoping that Gege’s at least planning something more for his story since I believe it isn’t gojover just yet— maybe he can takeover his body just like Geto and Toji did in Shibuya since the last few chapters have some parallels with that arc..

But still, for him and everyone else to be put in a situation they’re in now… is just tragic and upsetting
