He’d crash the car, hit people, and get pulled over none stop so the marauders just leave him to be the passenger princess, he does have the best music taste so it’s fine

While it’s true that Remus was the marauders gay awakening im 1000% sure that James was Remus’

Like you can’t tell me James Potter, the boy who brought all the marauders together and shone like the sun was not someone that Remus loved first

Sure Remus was probably aware that his crush on James was possibly unrequited and unrealistic it did not stop him from falling in love every time James made the effort to include Remus in their shenanigans

Imposter syndrome James potter

James that is so obsessed with being perfect for his friends who worries because he seems to be their biggest influence the one that they look up to all the time

A James that secretly doesn’t know why they chose to be friends with him and why they believe in his goodness and kindness to such an extreme

Who puts on a brave/friendly/obnoxious face in order to distract from Remus’s scars or Peter’s nerves or Sirius’s family

A James that becomes the group rock that can never have a bad moment caught between perfectionism and imposter syndrome

Hoping that his friends never find out that he’s not as brave as he portrays himself to be, hoping his friends never lose confidence in him because he has nothing else to fall back on

A James that is so scared that he will fail that he fails to take care of himself but cannot bring himself to shatter the image of a strong perfect capable person his friends believe him to be

If there is one thing that prongsfoot isn’t it is unrequited

Those two fools would burn the world down in a heartbeat and it is truly a shame that they never got the chance

Not to mention that it doesn’t even have to be romantic (but it def is in some respects) because those two are undeniably and universally intertwined that the only way to seperate the two would be in death

And even in death they remain constantly tied in memories and devotion (especially Sirius who’s sole sanity was his ties to James)

Also the only reason ppl believe it’s unrequited is cos we never see the two of them alive together outside of sn*pe’s pov

Like if you think Sirius was not normal abt James when he was dead imagine how absurd and in love the two were when they were alive

Watching the Aus Open at the moment and I cannot stop thinking about a Dorlene tennis au particularly in the game between Badosa and Sabalenka

Those two are such good friends and they had to compete against each other in order to move into the finals

And that moment when Badosa fell, all I could see was Dorcas having to watch as Marlene fell and not knowing if she would be able to play the rest of the match

And Sabalenka promising to pay for Badosa when they next go shopping is so Dorcas consoling Marlene

This makes no sense but also it does live laugh love
