1st floor (the 8 show) - SPOILERS

I was rewatching his ________ and I realised he didn't deserve that at all. He had control of everyone in the end. All the weapons were at his disposal. They were tied up and he could've started cutting their body parts or done something cruel that the higher floors like 8 probably would've considered, to be entertaining. But he only used himself as the source of entertainment. No one was a tool.

I know that he was absolutely horrendous before to the higher floors to extend the time and he definitely was cunning in not telling them about the room change, but can you blame him? They were all treated like absolute shit and were used as tools by the higher ups so it felt justified to do the same. That's where my dilemma comes in because although in the end he's his own tool, when he copies the higher ups he makes the others , tools.

Then I realised that his death might symbolise the hypocrisy of society. The 8th floor tortured every single one of them and her end was just getting arrested. He tried to regain some control but his actions ended in his death. The inequality of punishment because of the social hierarchy built in that room and outside, might be being highlighted.

Then moving back to how he was selfless in the end in terms of getting more time, it's a majority point of view that those with the least contribute the most right? Like you'll always hear stuff like stray animals get fed by the poor people while for the rich, hunger is something they don't understand. And I absolutely agree many people do contribute who are well off but the very fact that even with such little for themselves, they contribute and share the food they may have, might show how even with the least money he was able to be selfless and just use himself.

Yeah I guess the difference is he may have been selfish in wanting time but in the end everyone was going to get more money with his actions. And no one else was going to get hurt.

Im not exactly sure what to make out of the fact that he didn't tell anyone about the room change until desperation hit. I guess it shows no matter what a nice person you are, if you know knowledge of something will create conflict you are going to keep it to yourself. Sure its super devious but anyone could've asked about it. And also let's just say he did tell everyone about it. Everyone would just be wasting their money trying to buy each others rooms and realising how long they were expected to stay.

Along that idea, not so much about 1st floor but more on the whole show, the fact that fake is real within the show or real is fake, the whole scenario of the receipt was such an illusion. He never specifies how much it is to buy the 8th floor, and the game allows him to stay delusional because of the absurdity of switching room prices. Then the no pockets and the whole set up downstairs also highlights how everything is an illusion.

This whole thing is one big ramble. Share your thoughts please because his character is still so so intriguing. All of them are. So I'd love to know more thoughst and other interpretations

Satoru Gojo

Has a large wardrobe featuring several similar outfits of the same  dark shade of blue. He lets you borrow his clothes sometimes but becomes super grumpy if you accidentally tear a hole or get it dirty. He has a rack for an assortment of sunglasses and blindfolds which is off limits for you, only because he knows you’ll make him a lot less cool if you took to wearing sunglasses too.

Has a big ego. He’ll become the insecure partner constantly seeking validation saying stuff like “here’s a reminder that I’m the best.” And expect you to agree with him. It’s not really his insecurity but more his attempts at flirting so it’s a good thing you bear with the arrogance because he’s really trying to make you melt using his charisma rather than his abilities. (If he wanted to he could make you melt quite literally.)

Will forget your birthday. I’m sorry it’s not that he doesn’t love you, it’s just that he’s so chaotic and impulsive that it’s more likely for him to remember on the day and make a plan rather than plan a week before. He’ll have something amazing planned undoubtedly, you mean the world to him, but don’t ask him when he planned it. He has to constantly keep saving the world in mind, you can’t expect him to remember your birthday all the time.

Will make other people jealous of you. If you’re dating him trust me, the looks you’re going to be getting will be unpleasant. You’re going to feel like a dirty sock by the way they turn their noses down at you with distaste. They are just jealous because you did what no one else could. And that was to win Gojo’s heart. Roll your eyes and then kiss him. Help them understand the message.

Might have you yourself second guessing your worth. He’s gorgeous after all you’ll wonder why he isn’t with someone in his league. But you’re putting yourself down, he loves you for your personality and because of the butterflies you brought to life within his stomach so don’t let insecurities get in the way. There’s only room for one insecure partner and he’s already taken that role.

Has to impress you every day. You’ll wake up every morning to him experimenting with his abilities and trying something new. It’s entertaining as long as he doesn’t wake you up too early or make a lot of noise.

Loves pouting and getting his way. You fold like a foldable garden chair when he scrunches his nose and eyes, in order to get what he wants.

Brings you random things from his mission. He’s very spontaneous though so expect a wide variety of gifts ranging from a luxury cruise to a cursed finger.

Is extremely good with kids. You find yourself watching him bring himself down to be able to relate to children and make them feel safe. It’s one of the many reasons that made you fall for him.

Is powerful and will therefore protect you. It may seem he’s not looking out for you because he has to look out for the entire world, but trust me if he could only save one person, that one person would be you.

Let’s be honest you probably don’t deserve him. No matter how much you do for him he’s going to somehow be doing more for you. It’s not that he treats love as a competition, it’s just that it’s in his nature to put his two hundred percent to everything and that includes his relationship. And if he chose you as the one that’s really something. He loves just staring at you and absorbing every single detail. He notices the smallest change in your appearance and can always tell when you’re feeling down. He hates it when you don’t communicate and share your pain and eventually manages to get it out of you by playing the victim. Try to give back at least 50% of what he’s doing for you because that would be a normal person’s 100%. He’s very possessive although he doesn’t tell you directly. He’s going to be super grumpy if you hang out with other people more than you spend time with him. Also here’s a secret. He loves it when you ruffle his hair and give him forehead kisses so keep doing what you’re doing :)

Bakugou

I don’t know how you did it. HOW DO YOU PUT UP WITH THE GUY? He appreciates you for it more than you know. He knows about his anger issues and how his inconsistency can make him a difficult person to love, but when he saw you loving him unconditionally and always being there, he realized what a difference that made in his life. It hurts his pride to tell you his problems and he finds it far easier to just burn the furniture but he really tries. He hasn’t been burning much furniture lately right? He’s opening up to you more and more every day and wants to become the same cushion for you. He wants you to be able to trust him as much as he trusts you. If another person looks at you for a second too long or makes you laugh, he is going to be jealous as hell. Trust me the moment he drops you home after a date or is out of your sight, he is going to track them down and give them the scariest warning in their life. It’ll be so scary they’ll refuse to see anyone in a romantic way anymore incase there are more bastards like Bakugou. He loves it when you try to be rough with him and that one time you pinned him against the wall..yeah I think he wants you to do it again.

Monoma

If you’re with Monoma that speaks a lot about you too. Because from a surface level I don’t think anyone can stand Monoma. He looks like he’s arrogant and obnoxious and gloats thinking he’s above everyone. His slicked hair and the way he sneers like he knows he’s good looking. There’s a lot of things to dislike. But you chose to stay and dug deeper. You were able to see the insecurities he tries to mask with his persona and the internal bruises he covers beneath his tuxedo. He adores you for knowing him so well and relies on you a lot. It’s sometimes hard for him because he hates depending on someone but you always comfort him and tell him that you’ve found your calling. He kisses you then, multiple times all around your face finally ending at your lips. Verbal affirmations aren’t really his thing because somehow stuff he says still comes out as self absorbed and arrogant. But with you by his side he’s improving every day. He gets really irritated when people hang around you but he tries to convince himself that you’ll be loyal and he doesn’t have to worry. He’s not stupid he hears what everyone says about how you could do better. But you chose him in the end and that’s what’s important.

Shinso

You like the silent mysterious type don’t you? Absolutely nothing wrong with that because he is a total green flag. To be honest I don’t think he knows exactly how to be romantic and sometimes his gestures of love can be a little weird. Like sometimes when he sees you in a crowd even if you smile and wave he’s just gonna stand there looking at you with no expression. He forgets he has a mouth and eyes that can be used to express one’s emotions. He also has no understanding of social cues so please bear with him. Also I’m sorry that your pickup lines hit a blank wall. Except that one time you made a star-wars pickup line and said yoda only one for me. You fell even harder for him when you realized he was a geek too and he fell harder because he finally understood all the nonsense you were yapping about and meant them romantically. Bear with him, I know he sucks at showing it but he really likes you. Have you seen the way he grits his teeth and glares if someone so much as looks at you. You like him being possessive don’t you? He loves it when you have deep conversations with him and he’ll listen to you talking endlessly.

Amajiki

He’s super depressed and moody if I leave him and talk to someone else.

You gently touch his scarred face and kiss him. You can feel his power from the mere touch, a small spark waiting to be fueled into a raging forest fire. But he can contain it. And he will contain it. For you. But if someone tries to take you away from him, well that person had better pray to all the heroes to come to their rescue.

Himiko Toga loves you like no one has ever loved you. You used to find her annoying because she seemed so happy and morbid at the same time but the more she clung onto you the more she grew on you and now you two are inseparable. She loves keeping her pig tailed head on your lap and telling you all the bloody and gory stories she wants to. You’ve got used to it now but now and then because she knows it makes you uncomfortable, she talks about how much she loves you and how she gets insecure that you might turn away from her and get disturbed because she’s morbid. You lovingly tell her that, that could never happen. And she snuggles comfortably into you. If anyone tries to push you away and tells you that you are weird, Himiko Toga brightly smiles at them, lavishly licking her incisors and will turn into that person’s worst nightmare. Maybe someday she’ll bring the bloody body back and ask you if it’s pretty. Hopefully not because then you’ll both have to run away together to escape the heroes and the cops.

Twice loves you twice as much as the person who once loved you the most. Even though he struggles with who he is and if he is just a clone from his experiment both of him agree on one thing. They love you so much and neither of them can live without you. He sometimes finds it difficult to talk you to you because both sides start yelling instructions and at one point he acts like the hot bad boy and the next, a total nerd. But you thought it was really cute the way he kept changing personalities to make him seem appealing to you. After laughing at him for trying so hard, you told him you would date him. When you learnt about his mask, you smiled and said that you would wear a mask too if that made him feel less self conscious. He stared at you open mouthed like you were an angel. Which you were. When anyone approaches you he starts cloning himself to scare them off and when he saves you and if you’ve got the smallest wound, his half and half will break into a huge argument trying to figure out who’s fault it was until you wrap your arms around both of them and say that you’re fine and thank you for being the hero. At which both of them shut up and display the type of satisfied smile two friends have when they nudge each other after they get the chick.

Atsuhiro Sako (Mr. Compress) is an entertainer. He can make you smile no matter the circumstances by reaching into his pocket and bringing out a full bunch of very bright and colorful flowers for you. He was a little shy sometimes and you found it hard to talk to him at first because he kept disappearing but then one day you realized all the people had disappeared and he was the only one standing in front of you. (He may have compressed them all because he didn’t want anyone to see this, in case he got rejected) You obviously said yes. This bad ass commitment was hella attractive and you were here for it. He began to grow confident and really became your magic man. A lot of people were attracted to him but his eyes were for you and you only. If someone so much as took a step towards you, he would stand in front of you displaying compressed balls with people suffering and screaming inside it and imply that the same would happen to them. You were a little concerned about this but you realized they were lowlife thugs and decided oh well, the world’s safer anyway. Which is a little concerning, but you be happy :)

The voices. Why wouldn’t they just shut up? They kept nagging at him, whispering about all his past mistakes.

“Allmight isn’t the world’s greatest superhero.”

“Who’s fault is that?”

“Ours”

“Hahahaha but we don’t care.”

“Coz we are the best.”

“SHUT UP.” He yelled loudly. “I’m not like this. I’m not like this. This isn’t me.”

“If it isn’t you, who are we?” a voice asked slyly.

“I..just shut up. Please.” There was a break in his voice as he cradled his head in his arms tears falling down his cheeks.

“Bakugou?”

He jerks his head up and looks up at you staring down at him.

“Y/N.”

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, just leave me alone. Mind your own fucking business.”

“You are my business” you try to take his hand. Bad move. Fire springs from his palms, fire which he can’t or won’t control and it burns you. Tears come to your eyes and you cry out putting your hands into your pockets. You look at him, your expression unforgiving and hurt. You turn around and start walking away.

Silence. He’s not stopping you. He’s not apologizing. ‘Well he’s going through a hard time himself’ your patient side says. ‘I hate him. He is such a jerk’ that’s what came from the heartbroken side.

As you turn around the corridor,

“Y/N wait! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for that to happen.”

Someone grabs your wrist and pulls you into an empty classroom. Somehow his hand in yours, eases the pain and you let him speak.

You’re shocked when you realize he’s crying.

“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.” He repeats. “Why do they keep telling me that I did it on purpose?”

“Who?” you ask blankly.

“Us. Hahahahahaha. We love annoying people. And everyone’s scared of us. Which is fine because we don’t need anyone. He has us and we have him.”

“SHUT UP.”

“What?” you ask.

He turns at you. “WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS GETTING INVOLVED?”

Enough is enough. Tears blinding you for the second time, all thanks to him, you push him away and try to leave.

And he grabs you. Again.

“Don’t give up on me. Please.”

“I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what’s going on.” You say wiping your tears away and letting him pull you closer.

He kisses you.

You freeze and then kiss him back pulling him in closer and putting your arms around him.

After kissing, he buries his head in your chest/hair (depends on your height) and the two of you stand there holding each other.

“I hear voices.” He says in a small voice, clinging on to you tightly.

It’s a bit hard to breathe for you but you know that if you try to wriggle away, he’ll get upset and won’t open up again. So you bear it and listen.

“They…they remind me what an awful person I am. So when they talk I just see how I don’t deserve anyone so I yell at everyone who tries to help me.”

“That’s right. No one deserves you.”

“STOP” he screams and pushes you away grabbing his head and trying to shake away the voices.

You stare at him for a long time, watching him struggle to shut the voices down.

“Bakugou?”

“WHAT DO YOU WANT?”

“I don’t care what you’ve done. Or what they say you’ve done. I don’t give a fuck about the past. All that matters to me is the present and who you are now. You’ve helped so many people. Saved so many lives. You are not a bad person. Sure your personality is a bit questionable, but you’re improving each day. Your voices, they. are. lying.”

“They’re on to us.”

“How did they know?”

“You’re a bad person.”

“Listen to us. We know you more than them.”

“We aren’t lying. You did it all on purpose to get famous and become no.1”

Bakugou’s breathing was slowing down. “You’re lying. You’re saying I asked to get kidnapped on purpose?”

“Exactly.” You say encouragingly. “Fight them. They don’t know what they’re talking about.”

“Ugh, they’re too powerful. It’s time to abandon ship.”

“We’ll be back. When they aren’t around.”

Suddenly the voices were silent. Bakugou straightened up and wiped the sweat off of his brow.

“Y/N?”

“Yeah?”

Twice loves you twice as much as the person who once loved you the most. Even though he struggles with who he is and if he is just a clone from his experiment both of him agree on one thing. They love you so much and neither of them can live without you. He sometimes finds it difficult to talk you to you because both sides start yelling instructions and at one point he acts like the hot bad boy and the next, a total nerd. But you thought it was really cute the way he kept changing personalities to make him seem appealing to you. After laughing at him for trying so hard, you told him you would date him. When you learnt about his mask, you smiled and said that you would wear a mask too if that made him feel less self conscious. He stared at you open mouthed like you were an angel. Which you were. When anyone approaches you he starts cloning himself to scare them off and when he saves you and if you’ve got the smallest wound, his half and half will break into a huge argument trying to figure out who’s fault it was until you wrap your arms around both of them and say that you’re fine and thank you for being the hero. At which both of them shut up and display the type of satisfied smile two friends have when they nudge each other after they get the chick.

Atsuhiro Sako (Mr. Compress) is an entertainer. He can make you smile no matter the circumstances by reaching into his pocket and bringing out a full bunch of very bright and colorful flowers for you. He was a little shy sometimes and you found it hard to talk to him at first because he kept disappearing but then one day you realized all the people had disappeared and he was the only one standing in front of you. (He may have compressed them all because he didn’t want anyone to see this, in case he got rejected) You obviously said yes. This bad ass commitment was hella attractive and you were here for it. He began to grow confident and really became your magic man. A lot of people were attracted to him but his eyes were for you and you only. If someone so much as took a step towards you, he would stand in front of you displaying compressed balls with people suffering and screaming inside it and imply that the same would happen to them. You were a little concerned about this but you realized they were lowlife thugs and decided oh well, the world’s safer anyway. Which is a little concerning, but you be happy :)

Onetime thing

Katsuki Bakugou x reader (y/n)

Warnings - A bit of swearing.

“You don’t get it. So shut up.” Every time you tried to help him, tried to hold his hand for at least a minute to show him that he is loved, he would push you away.

“I’m trying to get it” you say, on the verge of tears. “And you aren’t helping.”

“Oh I’m sorry” he says bitterly. “I am so sorry that I can’t be nice to people and burden everyone with every fucking problem I have. I’m sorry that I’m a little bit stressed out at trying to be the best of the best and don’t have time to work on my people skills. I should also apologize for being bloody independent and for trying to save myself which I clearly can't do. Wow. And I call myself a hero.”

You stiffen. His words hit home and you get it.

Wanting the top is tough. And staying there? Tougher.

But also...is he...is he opening up through yelling at you?!

Does this mean...

“Hi” you say in a friendly manner as if you didn't hear what he said. He glares at you suspiciously.

Your eyes start glistening, not with tears but with hope.

“Would you like to have a fist fight?”

His glare leaps into an almost smile before he gets hold of himself and turns on the glare again.

“I mean...if you want to lose.”

Bottom line...you lost. He burns you. He hurts you. He breaks you. But finally after all that...he thanks you.

“Hey y/n...would you be down for a fist fight every time I’m feeling down?”

You blush and wave your hands and your head frantically. “NO NO, THIS WAS A ONETIME THING!”

Your tone is desperate and to your surprise and to his surprise too, he suddenly laughs. His voice sounds hoarse like he’s not used to it. Which he probably isn’t.

He takes a step closer to you and looks you in the eye.

“Well...thanks for the onetime thing.”

Did that make all that pain and suffering worth it? Pretty much.

As he starts walking away with his hands stuffed in his pockets, you impulsively yell from behind, “Hey Bakugou, if you ever want to do other ‘onetime things’ I might be free occasionally to put up with your oh-I’m-not-sensitive-but-I-am ass.”

Without even bothering to turn around, he lifts his middle finger up.

You smile.

That was an affirmative if you ever saw one.
