Someone coming to visit is a tremendous thing.

When a person comes, that person's entire life comes with him. That person's past, his present and his future... all are coming along with him. Because his entire life is coming with him. Because it is fragile, it may have already been broken before.. that heart that comes.

Of all the inventions made by man, my favourite is photography❤️What a creative beautiful mind Mr Nicéphore Niépce must have had, to think he could capture the present moment and preserve it for future. What great joy it must have been to capture the first photo ever. I love and enjoy watching old photos and reliving the moments and I love selfies.

Good things in life:

New things, like the new year and learning new words. Sitting on a park bench & listening to the wind rustling the tree leaves. Summer rain, scent of the soil after rain and the sun shining through your half drawn curtains in the morning. People who give hugs with a little squeeze. The feeling of belonging somewhere. The internet, for being able to connect hundreds of strangers together. Words that warm your heart. Empty pages of a new notebook and being able to find inspiration everywhere you look. Beginnings. Ends. Now.❤️

Time was never meant to be linear. You'll fall in love with them first and remember them later. You will listen to new music first and make memories later. You will leave someone and then realize what they meant to you. You will cry and understand what happened before. You will want to dance first and understand the steps later. You will read books and know what the words wanted to tell you, later. You will see a storm coming and realise you caused it, later. You will miss things before they go. You will know you are important but love yourself much much later. Your dreams will scare you before your nightmares. Time was never meant to be linear and neither was your life.

I had thought I would somehow survive your leaving. What I didn't know is that I would have to relearn to survive each day. Because each day you're still gone.

Today marks 4 years since you passed away and it still hurts. It still is so hard to come to grips with. I miss you so much Daddy. I love you, forever and always.

Wow, 6 seaons of making the world cry with every episode. I'm not ready for this to end, but so grateful to have watched this show from the beginning. An incredibly gifted cast, relatable stories, and the love of family! Thank you, This Is Us.
