Sapphus – Satyr Cleric

“Welcome boys and girls, ladies and gents and others! I’m Sapphus, the Marvelous, the Wonder of Thessaly, the Healer of Kings. My humble self was born and raised in a small grove near Pharsalos to a nomad tribe that never settled and when I grew up I joined the famous Chimera Machina, a fantastic group of artists, musicians and miracle workers, where I was able to travel to the seven seas and beyond! I received divine inspiration from uh… Whatever god you worship, my dear, and have since made my mission to spread their faith and godly name throughout the known world. So join my fabulous journey as I fulfill my role as the divine chosen where I’ll perform miracles wherever I may pass in this path of life… For due compensation, of course!”

“Hello there! I’m Aan, I’m a 27-year old Portuguese non-binary published author and voice-actor in-training. I have traveled a lot, having been to the US, Egypt, Mozambique, UK, France, etc. But two years ago I moved to Italy to pursue my dreams and fell in love with the country. I’ve been a Xena fan since late 2014 and a D&D player/DM since 2018. I’m so excited to smash these two worlds together in a wonderful campaign created by our amazing DM, Amanda, and to play a very charming trickster.“

Reagan - Human Mage

“Hello! I’m a Celt and I’ve traveled far and wide after leaving my home in Halstatt. I left in search of knowledge and magic. My aunt taught me some before she passed but I can’t help but want to know more. Magic is incredible, have you heard of it? I’ve landed in Greece for now with my dog Gallagher. He’s a beautiful (and magical!) collie that helps me and my best friend, Drianna, out.

Anyway, I am excited to get into a city, we really need some supplies. We usually avoid cities - preferring to stay near forests. Who wouldn’t? There’s so much natural magic there! Sorry, my point is: I can’t wait to start a new adventure!...and find some new books...”

“Hi, I’m Bailey and I am a level 32 mover of airplanes that lives in Canada with my wife and furbabies. I have been playing D&D for a little over a year on high gear (2-3 times a week) and a Xena fan for a very long time! I enjoy building terrain and painting minis in my spare time when I’m not playing the game. You’ll be able to see my work every episode on the battlecam! I am very excited to be part of this adventure and hope you enjoy my character and her fae dog as much as I do!“

Kiba - Human Monk

“Hey, everyone 👋 I hope you are all having a wonderful day! My name is Kiba and I so look forward to meeting you all! I was born to a humble family where it was my older brother, mother and father in a small simple village, and what we lacked in money, we were wealthy in love. At an early age my brother and I realized we both were gifted in athletic abilities, and some other unnatural ones. When I was 12 and my brother was 14 we were taken from our homes, I have never seen my brother nor my parents since. A group of monks took me to live with them in Chin where we practiced the art of Loa Ma. I feel blessed by the universe to be alive and i love to see the light and good in every living thing.”

“I, Taylor Plecity, have the tendency to introduce myself as if I’m being sworn in. It’s possibly because I was raised by FBI agents and Heads-of-State; or more specifically, I was raised by film and television. I have been playing DnD for a little over a year now, but this will be my first streamed campaign! (And my first campaign as a monk, I usually play spellcasters and anything that can specialize in evocation 💥 did someone say fireball?? Oh my bad, I mean furry of blows 😅) I'm in the band Hey, King! and am obsessed with filmmaking and acting. I have no doubt this campaign will bring out some interesting moments, so please enjoy the rambunctious rumpus ahead!“

“Good morrow fellow travellers. My name is Drianna, and before I fell victim to Bacchus and became a Bacchae, I was a bard of growing fame, mentored by the great Orpheus himself. I love to create stories and have a talent for the theatrical arts! I am no Bard of Potidaea, but I’m sure to entertain you!”

Chares - Demigod Paladin

“Hello friends! The name’s Chares; once a simple farm boy toiling away at the family plot in the village of Semicus, now a Chosen for Aphrodite protecting love and beauty in the world. As a young boy, it was soon realized that I had certain abilities that my peers around me did not have. As a farmer and worshiper of Demeter, I believe it is her influence that blessed me with those abilities. As a young man I left the farm due to the call I felt within to protect others. I originally joined the Athenian army, until deception from superiors caused me to turn against them. That was the day Aphrodite found me and I began my journey in her service. Now, I walk the land to fight for the love and beauty that is found around us all; eager to meet all souls who may cross my path- be it friend or foe.”

“Hello friends, I’m Heike; I’m 28 years old and current student at the University of Alberta, resident of Canada. This is my first D&D campaign, though I’ve played a few one shots. I have liked Xena since I was a kid, though I got more into the series when I was in high school. I enjoy painting minis, and I have been exploring my more artistic side for around a year. I am super excited to play my first campaign, and experience the epic collision of Xena and D&D. Hope to see you as our characters journey through the Known World!”

The adventure is set during the time X&G are taking a break a la Frozen, so somebody has to pick up the slack.. can this impromptu band of… heroes(?) manage it?
