Where I've Been (Vent)

Honestly I stopped posting so much on this blog bc the AU for it died, I didn't feel like writing a fic related to it and I can't draw so blugh On top of that as if it weren't enough already, physical and mental disabilities have made IRL pretty hard for me. And now I have to worry about losing my house yaaaaaaay so. I'm trying to be ready to move out once it happens, and I've been writing on another blog trying to get something started, but I haven't seen any real movement from there. I'd go to X/Twitter but I don't want my work being grabbed and used for AI (plus it's a cesspool) and I'm not sure if there are any other sites that are better for writers. I use Ko-Fi and have commissions up, but aside from generous one-time donations from a friend putting my Ko-Fi in a Discord server, there hasn't been any movement on commissions themselves. Idk man I'm just really exhausted, I'm trying to get my physical health taken care of so I'm not living every day in a constant state of pain and now I have to worry about moving out-of-state and trying to save up for that but disability benefits take forever to come in, and that's gonna take well over a year for review and they're gonna reject me because they always reject someone's first application (yay, American healthcare system). Not to mention I need all four of my wisdom teeth out (one of them actually broke through the gum), but that has to be put on hold so I don't get another exhausting stint of three doctor's visits in a month AND I don't want to be out of commission when I could be writing and trying to earn the money I need. Maybe one day I'll somehow write a fic so good it makes people actually want to at least share my Ko-Fi, if not then actually donate. Maybe $3 is too much to ask for and I need to lower it, I don't know. Sorry for the vent :(

I see a lot of sites saying eels change their 'gender', but gender's a human construct. In reality they change their sex since that's the biological stuff! But I still think that could impact gender.

Jade likes how his name can be femme and masc, and while he enjoys being masculine more than feminine he won't miss a chance to dress up in those gorgeous femme-fatale lounge dresses with long silken gloves. Should he choose to have longer hair he will curl it and let it fall in voluminous waves down his shoulders, lips painted a deep purple to conceal a string of sharp pearls.

He's probably the reason, along with Vil, that some poor random NRC students got blasted with the realization that gender is literally fake and Does Not Matter in the way society wants you to think it does. You can be a tall, muscled-up dude and still have B cups if you want. If you're a girl you can have massive muscles, a masculine jawline, facial/armpit/arm/leg body hair, all of it.

Owing to how he doesn't really care beyond how he feels on a given day, Floyd doesn't bother with an alternate name when he's feeling femme. "Eh? My name doesn't sound feminine? How do names sound like anything? What, you want me to name myself after windchimes on a spring night cuz that's somehow more 'girly'?"

Lowkey could be used for a very funny Reader/OC-Canon dynamic of the OC/Reader sneaking suggestive material and Rollo's trying to catch them at it (I know he's President of Noble Bell's Student Council so it fits)

Points if you/your OC gets their material confiscated, leading to Rollo trying to see what powerful temptation would drive a person to such lengths.

And in one manga he's right there with the reader, kneeling at the alter for forgiveness while the itch begins. He becomes stricter, confiscating any illicit material so that he can secret it to his room, reading it in during the midnight hours, face burning as he condemnds everyone who would read such things, for the models in the magazines, artists who would draw such filth...

And the heat goes straight to his chest, the inferno of addiction growing stronger with each turn of the page. He needs more.

Today I am bringing you a reminder that in and outside of the TWST fandom it is okay to give characters obvious physical disabilities if that's the headcanon you want to have.

Ik the anime medium is like. Utter garbo when it comes to being normal about women, LGBTQ+ people, Black people, and disabled people.........

But if u want to, for example, headcanon that Idia gets arthritic pains so bad he has to be in a wheelchair for anything longer than 10-15 minute walks, you can do that.

Cater Diamond being a dark-skinned Black man with locs in his hair with diamond-based loc jewelry? YOU CAN DO THAT !!!!!!!!! (SPOILERS FOR BOOK 6 BEGINS)

AUs where Ortho survived but his android counterpart serves as both friend and medical aide because he's severely disabled after intensive injuries and struggles with envying his android counterpart because he yearns for how his body used to be but also is growing to learn to accept how he lives now and is getting more comfortable with the aides Idia's constantly cooking up? YOU!! CAN!! DO!! THAT!! (SPOILERS FOR BOOK 6 ENDS)

Adding on: Lilia from what I know is/was a war general. Obvious scarring? Chronic pain from old wounds? Maybe a cane to help with a knee that was extremely busted up and never healed back properly?

I'm a lil silly and decided to incorporate S and SS in the college grading scale. D is still barely passing, E and F are the "high fail" and "low fail" grades. S and SS are both the top-notch scores that students like Vil, Riddle, and Malleus get. SS incorporates if extra points are given for bonus assignments and/or if such extra attention to detail is given in an essay bonus points are assigned.

It's pretty neat, I think :3

I haven't ever used playing cards for my tarot but I do know that it's a valid practice! If you have a Heartslabyul OC and aren't sure what playing card to assign them, I highly recommend taking a gander through and seeing if a card matches your OC!!
