Is romantic love and platonic love supposed to feel different?

Been questioning myself a little lately. I've mostly identified as bisexual in the past since, well, i don't really care for gender as a whole. But I've been thinking about the future again, and relationships popped up in my head and it got me thinking.

All my crushes and relationships were with previous friends, the dynamic never really changed(or got uncomfortable when it did) between us, all i think of when i think of marrige is a damn friend you kiss maybe have xes or have childeren with(and i feel like I'd do all of those with close friends), never really wanted to flirt with people I'm not already close with... ect ect

So is that like normal or what? What i mean is like was allat platonic or romantic or both or neither?.. is it like this for anyone else is it supposed to be this way orr yk

Stephanie doesn't really consider any of the batfam her "brothers" or "sisters" in a traditional sense.

Except for Damian. That's her little bro.

He's the only one that can (and will) call her a bitch without get his ass kicked, only a very intense noogie.

Likewise, she's one of the only people he lets himself do kiddy things around. Mostly because she gets into it. Like if they're going some where and it has those cheesy boards with face holes carved in so it looks like you're doing something stupid. She'll be the one to hand Damian her phone and be like "take a pic of me and I'll do you!"

Or like if they're at an event and there's a face paint booth, she will race him to get inline first. And Bruce and Dick will be like "oh wow Steph, you're really good at getting Damian to relax and be a kid for once." and she's standing there with her face painted like spider man like, "... yes... that's why I nearly trampled a child to get in line... for Damian..."

Anytime I go in search of new fics in fandoms I'm relatively new in, I get completely and utterly lost.

Like, when you think about it, it shouldn't be that different. I mean, it's the same formula in the end(_____ does _____, adjective ______, ______ is _____,(and then theres the other classic ones like fluff, found family, angst ect ect)) but it's so unbelievably different. Some fandoms tag less, some tag excessively, some fandoms tag sideships, some barely tag the mainship, some fandoms tag more general tags, some tag more name based... ect

It's annoying but like, also endearing kinda idk

it's crazy that sexism can even affect animals. the way people assume all dogs are boys. the simultaneous way people will get genuinely really mad if you dare mistake their pretty princess for a boy despite the fact all german shepherds look the same. the refusal to buy pink toys and accessories for male pets. i recently met someone who insisted they never adopt girl cats because they're always meaner than boy cats. i feel like im losing my mind. they're literally cats.
