hands used to drive me up a WALL, especially as a collage artist. shockingly, i have far fewer issues with them after i figured out how to make skeleton hands and now it just kinda makes sense to do normal hands? not sure how that happened but i have no complaints
i always get pissy about my backgrounds because they're never as complex as i want them to be, but my style doesn't lend to complex backgrounds currently. they're so much better than when i started, but its weird
also, faces. i refuse to make faces because i never can get the proportions right. that hasn't gotten better, i make faceless figures cause fuck that
so i'm an artist and i don't particularily struggle with drawing hands as much as i used to (they get a lot easier when you've found out how to stylize them in such a way that works with your particular art style)
but i think the thing i struggle the most with is coming up with a pose i really like and drawing the *mouth* of all things. or in general, my own perfectionism making it very difficult for me to feel satisfied and come up with a concrete decision. that's the hardest thing to draw, for me personally.
what do y'all struggle with most when it comes to art/drawing? have you been improving? have you found a solution or advice that helps you, or could help other artists? please feel free to share!

GUYS. These photos turned out SO GOOD. I made or tailored everything I'm wearing except for the shoes and I'm just so fucking in love with these photos
(Shout out to Erik, the man behind the camera, he does some amazing cosplay photos)

my only complaint is that the paws appear when you boop someone and not when someone boops you. I want to be scrolling and minding my own business and suddenly get whapped by a cat paw

Totally depends! anywhere from 200ish pages for a volume to some that go on for over a hundred volumes (That would be One Piece which is one of the longest running by a long shot). I've been through a number of them that I'm like "Ok, but I can tell you lost the thread somewhere around here" which sucks when they have a great starting place
