The woman received the perfume in the mail on a moody day of August. Confused, she took it out of the wooden letterbox and unwrapped the pink fold it was packed in, revealing a fragile glass bottle holding rose coloured water. Around its neck a blue bow was tied, a strong smell radiating from it. She couldn't but indulge in it-, a strikingly sweet scent. Without a thought she sprayed the eau onto her pulse and found that it smelt divine, her own perfume paling in comparison.

She didn't waste a thought on the origin of the ominous bottle as she went back inside and placed it on a shelf in her bedroom. Not once even. It was just so beautiful. Intoxicating

She worked a fatiguing dayjob as a receptionist for a small business firm in a small town. Soon, after she started wearing the fragrance on a daily basis, things changed for her: First, no one of her coworkers noticed it. Then she noticed how different she was per- and received - Men were looking differently at her mousy figure. Women swarmed around her, making her part of the strong alliance they had already built without her. To say she was not used to such behavior would have been an understatement.

All her life she had been an ascetic bore of a femme, blending in with her surroundings, but never being part of it - At first it made her unsure, then she learnt to embrace the power she now held. 

Her figure became lean, her eyes slint, her mind softened to the extent that she didn't ask many questions anymore

Her body became frail, her eyes dark and her mind endlessly empty. The woman became an insomniac. Sleep was something she had loved and done as much as possible, but suddenly it became impossible, not able to ever become tired enough. Hallucinations followed her like a loyal friend, and stayed, stained into her eyes. Baldrian, Thyme, Eucalyptus. She couldn't find a cure.

She fell ill. The woman hadn't had any close relatives when she started dying. Her father had died when she was only a girl. Her mother had hated her when she had been alive, feeling in evergrowing competition to her. She grew up without siblings and her grandparents had died before her birth. She started dying, alone, in a soft pillowed bed, the sooth of love not present. Her nightgown waved around bony hips. She hadn't eaten in weeks, taking the form of a living dead.She drank nothing but tea and warm water. 

Her voice was leaving her

this is generally a thing in comic fandoms... most of the people i hang out with that like comics are exactly those dudebros, cause women for example, aren't really catered towards,,, except for the ultra mainstream marvel stuff or kind of bad shows like she-hulk, which no girl gave a shit about.

that being said. i would make badass comic book adaptations catered towards girls

one down side of the invincible fandom being REALLYYY SMALL is that one part of it has super awesome and talented people who adore the development of characters throughout the series, working through grief and relationship conflicts, and people who enjoy the aspects of cool alien cultures from different planets like the city of talescria, or literally ANYONE who just likes superheroes, and then theres dudebros…
