The story itself (im on episode 2) is ngl a lil shitty, how lin ling got the power tho is pretty cool ig. Its going too fast like when moon just left in the second ep and wreck, stop but like Wreck deserves more screentime like why does he only get 1 episode AND its not even ONE FULL EPISODE IT WAS LEGIT 5 MIN ISTG! JUSTICE FOR THIS DUDE!! he is loyal af, he knew it wasn't nice WHEN HE SAW HIM!!!

What is a mage? A mage is a persone that uses mana to create magic-circles to achieve their goal. Their goal could range from growing plants, making rain to ending a life.

Head of a magic tower.

The head/master of a magic tower is the most powerful in the tower. Magic towers also have a ranking system. How higher it stands, how more power they have. Their job is a mix of a lot, like making sure projects are going well, putting up barriers, hunting monsters, etc. The tower’s master that stands in the top 3 ranked has the same power of an emperor.

Head of the (name e.g. black wolf, white sun, ...) magic tower

Archmage (mastered twentieth-circle magic + kill/overwin previous 1v1 )

Grand Mage (mastered twentieth-circle magic)

1st classed Mage (mastered fifteenth-circle magic)

2de classed Mage (mastered tenth-circle magic)

3de classed Mage (mastered fifth-circle magic)

Mage (can cast first-circle magic)

Apprentices

Amount in one magic tower:

Head of the magic tower (1)

Archmage (2)

Grand Mage (4)

Classed mages, mages and apprentices won't be counted.

Tests and Battles

To become a classed mage you need to undergo 3 tests, every year it's a little different but the concept stays the same. It can be a 1v1 or hunting a creature down.

 To become an archmage or grand mage you will need to battle with the previous mage and win. But to challenge one of them you need to reach the 2de class. After that you need the approval of the head/master.   

To become the head of a magic tower you need to kill or overwin the previous one without the help of an outer force (apprentices, mages, sages, knights, ...). What is allowed is one familiar or one divine beast. You can also summon a magical creature in the battle itself.

Familiars

Mages use mana to create magic-circles. If the circle uses too much mana the caster can end up dying, to prevent that they have familiars. Familiars are fed with the mana of their master when they are young. The more mana the familiar gets the stronger they become. If 2 mages give mana to 1 young the young will go to the mage with the most stable mana. Divine beasts are a little different in that aspect, they do get stronger with divine power but they don’t have a master. Cubs are normally raised in Temples where multiple priests tendt to their needs. Familiars can range from magical (dragons, unicorns, griffins, …)  to non-magical creatures like cats, owls and ravens. Familiars with lots of absorbed mana can become human. They can’t die unless the master dies or a different familiar absorbs/’eats’ them. their mana has the same color as their master.

Ira

Ira is a overwhelming pain that happens when the caster ‘nɔyaa’, that happens when they have too much mana and their body can’t handle it or when the magic-circle is forcible stopped. Ira can be calmed by a familiar or caused by a familiar’s death, it's a double edged sword. Mages can help other mages through ira by calming their mana. Priests and saintesses can’t.

Monster hunting

Monster hunting (also Monster killing) can be done as a sport for the aristocracy or when the demon king atacks humans.

There are 5 grades of monsters:

first grade (strongest) 

second grade

third grade

fourth grade

fifth grade (weakest)

There are 2 types of monsters: monster-born and invasion. Monster-born (second-fifth grade) can be killed with mana and sword, first grade monsters can only be killed by a fifteenth-circle magic or higher, sword masterts can also manage. They are highly aggressive but if manage to make it a familiar when young they will be a great assist in battles. Invasion are parasites that live in the host's body, it can live in all different creatures. To kill a invasion they will need to eliminate the host before being able to end the parasite. After they are killed they drop mana stones, the higher the grade the more mana.

Mana 

Mana is a type of supernatural energy that runs through your body. To make a magic circle you need a certain amount of mana. Mana can be harvested by taking it from nature or mana stones. Mana stones can be used for many things like: heeling, teleportation, boost of mana, mana storage, etc. Teleportation can only be done by a third-first grade mana stone. If you have too much mana then your body can handle you will fall into ira.
