Walmart online had a crazy sale with $12 hoodies and $11 shirts and I went a little nuts

Got these before seeing the movie because the new suit grew on me (got the hat from Amazon) still gotta get the Justice Gang figures

Can’t wait to see how this new dc universe turns out

Update on my Tim Drake collection

I have a lot more figures,statues and funko pops (one custom I made with a space ghost pop), comics etc.

I made a poster board and printed off almost every version of Tim created.

I’m still collecting Tim’s first Robin run and his Red Robin run and the graphic novels. (Think I’ll just get the graphic novels of the recent Tim Drake run and I don’t know about the last two Red Robin graphic novels, they are so expensive!)

Savvy Tim fans will notice two Dick Graysons on my shelf. Well the rainbow pride pop is supposed to be Tim but they used the animated series robin and we all know that is Dick.

The other Dick is from an animated series two figure pack that is clearly supposed to be Tim but they used Dick’s mold. They also made one of Tim in the classic Robin colors which I don’t think we ever saw in the series.

There are two holy grail Tim items I really want but will probably never find or find at a decent price. The Red Robin statue by Kotobukiya and the Red Robin hat by New Era(the one I have I made from a trucker hat and printed off an iron on symbol)

I also have a Robin Jersey on the way from AnimeBape. I’ll share when it gets here and anything else I’ve gotten.

Update on my Tim Drake collection.

I have a few more things coming in the mail but I think I’m going to slow down for a bit.

So this origins book I found on Amazon is a trip. It’s in the animated series style but has a loose kiddy version of Tim’s comic book origins.

I couldn’t help but laugh at how Tim confronted Bruce and he’s all ‘Kay cool you’re Robin now’ 😂

Well, here’s my first week’s haul of intentionally collecting Tim Drake. I may need to make a second shelf at this rate.

(It is pretty tedious having to make sure the robin I’m lookin at is Tim. They really mix and match the different symbols and costumes. Also, I learned this year that the Arkham series Robin was Tim. I just assumed it was Damian since Tim was skipped in the animated movies.)

There’s a toy show coming up next weekend, so hopefully I’ll be able to get a good Tim haul there.

Well, it’s finally done.

After several years I finally have all the life sized cardboard cutouts of my favorite versions of these characters

The same thing that happened when I got Wonder Woman, happened with Doctor Strange. I was leaving Slackers and glanced at the windows that have various cutouts and there they were.

So glad I’m done with these.

I noticed I have quite a Tim Drake collection. I made a display shelf, since he’s my favorite Robin, and I guess I’ll intentionally collect him from now on.

Been a while. Still going through my DC phase but it took quite a left turn from Superbat focus.

Came across the Wayne Family adventures graphic novels and I hadn’t know I needed these in my life so much!

They’re such a nice break from regular DC drama/action filled comics and I’ve always wanted to see stories with Batdad and his many kids just enjoying and loving each other. (My theory is this is another version of Batman from the Young Justice cartoon)

So with all the wholesomeness, I fell into the fanfic side of things! Had no idea (don’t know how it didn’t cross my mind) that there were so many fics focused on Tim Drake (my fav Robin who has been done so dirty by dc over the years).

So many ‘Tim joins the family early’ and fix-it fics. Jason tends to be a big focus too and I’m very very very slowly warming up to Damien. (Though I still don’t think I’ll read anything outside of supersons that focuses on him. And Tim fics have ruined any chance of me reading Dick’s Batman run. Just like Ironstrange ruined mcu civil war)

But anyway that’s my current obsession now.

Working on collecting the Red Robin run. The graphic novels are so expensive. Vol 1 was 50 bucks at half priced books and vol 2 was 35! I still got them but geez, my wallet!

My DC bookshelf is growing again.

Also they finally made an update of my fav version of Conner! Was so awkward with the old one on my shelf.

Really looking for a decent Nightwing and a not terribly expensive Red Hood. I really hope they make an updated kid Jon one day to go with Damien.

I’ve been on a quest to get the life size cutouts of the DCEU Trinity.

The Batman I originally had was like an artist’s rendition (which they used in all the toy marketing) of Batfleck.

But then I got an actual photo cutout of Henry Cavill’s Superman and just had to have the matching Batfleck.

Now finally after months of looking found a photo Batfleck cutout.

Now gotta find Gal Godot’s Wonder Woman.

Been a while.

Last I was on here I was back into Naruto…welp, I’ve been going through another phase.

I had decided to build a Lego Batcave and ended up in a DC phase.

Specifically Batman and Superman.

(Funny how my phases correlates to what fanfics I’m currently reading)

So I had bought some custom Naruto figures on Mercari and wanted to make the Iruka better.

(background figures are Anime Heroes Kakashi and Mattel Shuriken Attack) Iruka

I was able to find what the seller combined to make these two figures

For the Iruka custom, they used Anime Heroes Kakashi’s body and an Iruka head from a chibi figure. The paint they used was too light for Iruka imo and they forgot to do the toes.

The Naruto custom is more complicated. They used the body of kunai throwing Naruto, the right arm of Rasengan attack Naruto and the head and special effects of a small statue.

I decided I didn’t want to deal with the Naruto figure and decided to give Iruka a more accurate skin tone. (I may end up using a different Iruka head in the future)

So, I bought a Anime Heroes Fourth War Kakashi figure cause I couldn’t get the wrist joints out of the custom Iruka’s right arm and messed up the joints. I was planning on taking off the Kakashi glove cuffs but they were molded on, so I had to paint over them.

Here’s the paint I used for Iruka’s skin and hair. I also used this spray on the parts I painted to make the paint stick easier.

This took a lot of patience and several coats of paint but I’m very satisfied with how he turned out
