I feel like more people should talk about this, but that quiet constant voice telling you to unalive yourself gets so exhausting. It’s always there at the back of everything you do all the time. Constantly having to distract yourself with music or anything else because you know, as soon as things get quiet the voices get louder. Like a void. Sometimes the voice has been there for so long you almost don’t notice it until you do. There’s never a break, no silence, just an all consuming void.

If you just happen to stumble upon this post during a bad time I want you to know. At 11 I didn’t think I’d make it to 14. At 14 u didn’t think I’d make it to 16. When I was 16 I was sure I wouldnt make it to my 20s. From the years 14-20 I attempted 4 times. Today I turned 22. And for the first time I know I’m going to make it to my 30s. The worst thing to happen in the history of everything is the monopolization and implementation of SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR entertainment. They really were like the APP is free but using it is not. Want to watch movies? Subscription, want the movies to be ad free?pay more. Want to allow more than one person to watch? Pay even more. Free Videogames? No! But the base game is 90 dollars with three out of 50 paid features. Music?? HELL NAH subscribe and get ad free listening and download them to your phone. Dating? Nope cock blocked BY A LIKE LIMIT AND TIMER.

I understand now what they mean when they say the universe is encapsulating. Sometimes I look up at the stars and wonder how many millions before did the same. Did they have someone with them? Was it a lover? A friend? Did they too wonder how big it truly was? Did they do it in times of war and hardship? What about in times of safety and happiness? Did they question their lives too? Their decisions? Or did they simply look, appreciating its beauty and the moment they were in. Was it all they ever knew? Or did they know more about the vast unknown than we ever could.

The only thing I remember from grade 8 was when my music teacher was showing us the “Daft punk” video from pentatonix and this happened.

TEACHER: “It’s really sad too, they are all gay.”

THEATRE KID: *stands up on chair*
