A Day with the Thunderbolts*

Since I never got to write an OG Avengers Tower fanfic, here is a Thunderbolts* Tower fanfic! Warnings: There may be some spoilers but it's mainly just the characters names in the movie and this was proofread but not very well. Enjoy and let me know if I should write more!

You never thought you'd be an Avenger still after Tony and Steve were gone. You sort of worked for Valentina Allegra de Fontaine just as a vigilante for hire. When all the stuff happened with Bob and after Valentina made that announcement, things were hectic at first. Everyone was scrambling to get the Tower fixed and to get everyone's room done and then there was finally a peaceful lull. There wasn't much to do and you and the others didn't have to worry about Bob because…well…he's Bob.

It's around eight am and light filters into your room, your curtains making the sunlight a pale yellow as it hits your bed. You sigh as you get up, getting dressed and putting your hair up in your usual fast bun.

As you walked to the kitchen, you smelled eggs and bacon which were being made by Bucky as usual. And heard knocking. In the walls. Ava was in the walls. Again. You roll your eyes, grumbling to yourself. You get to the kitchen and sit down at the counter, swiveling a bit on the stool. Bucky looks at you, the ends of his mouth twitching at your grumbling.

"You okay, doll?" He asks, pouring you some coffee.

"Yeah, just tired." You mutter, taking a sip of your coffee.

You hear booming steps and Alexei walks in with groceries. You give him a weirded out look. "You went to the store?"

Alexei nods, smiling widely. "Yes! We ran out of the Wheaties!"

Bucky rolls his eyes, "I made breakfast already, Alexei. You didn't need to do that."

"Yes but Wheaties are good for you! Very nutritious!" Alexei exclaims.

"So are eggs and bacon- Okay, whatever." Bucky mutters, giving a dismissive wave.

You can't help but smirk, looking at Bucky serve out breakfast. You hear Walker walk in, his calm but firm footsteps echoing through the room. "Good morning." He greets, drawing out the o's in 'good' and 'morning'.

"Morning, Walker." You reply, now eating.

Bucky slides Walker a plate and Walker nods at him, taking the plate and starting to eat. You then hear timid footsteps. Bob. You look up and see him.

"Hey, Bob." You smile, patting the stool next to you.

"Hi." Bob replies, timidly smiling back as he sits next to you. Bucky hands him a plate which Bob takes with a grateful but small smile.

You all continue to eat, Alexei's voice occasionally booming out to talk about the next mission even though you all haven't had a mission in months. You all just stopped small crime in the city, nothing major. It was almost...peaceful. Until you see Walker roll his eyes. You're surprised they hadn't rolled all the way back in like in Beetlejuice from the amount of times he's rolled his eyes.

Despite him being an asshole, he was a pretty good guy. He just had a jackassey facade ninety percent of the time.

Even though Valentina set this all up, it felt like home.
