I love the duality of fanfiction

Like some take this source material that is FANTASTIC and just add more, side stories, anecdotes, maybe a few interesting rewrites of these beloved characters, but no one really dislikes the original material

Then they take this awful price of media, with shitty characters, and a shitty storyline, and so many plot holes it resembles a cheese grater, then they turn it into art, absolute masterpiece. Maybe the premise was really good so the writers took it and ran, maybe a few characters had potential and got done dirty. Idk but it hardly resembles the original content at all, totally can written, and there like three Big Fics that cement a lot of the lore.

And finally an honorable mention to the media that has been redone so many times by the creators that canon is your sand box and you’re a toddler, just joyful writing where the only similarities are the names and like three character traits

Help me find this fanfiction!

It was a angsty fanfic, only one chapter long at the time. Damian lived with Dick, and the others were far from Bruce because they'd grown apart. But then they see on the news the scene where Superman comes back to life and almost kills Batman, and they go crazy. I don't remember if it's about the movie or some Justice League animated film. The synopsis was something like "he watched the alien grab Bruce by the neck and then throw him away like it was nothing."

I don't remember if it was still in this fanfiction, but if not, I'd like help finding it too, lol:

Basically, the Batfamily fights the Justice League in the Batcave, and Damian makes Superman cry, calling him an alien and a monster. I know I read this fanfiction between 2022 and 2023, but it could be older or have been updated.
