Only draws comics with this one specific supervillain that's not even that popular/well-known? Knows stuff even the media doesn't? Has the exact same hair, skin tone, and build as said supervillain? Must just be a really dedicated fan.

And I do mean man.

I'm gonna try to not rant here but... Thoughts. Feels. Trans shit. Wow.

Okay I lied. Small, kind of personal rant under the cut.

My cousin recently gave me some clothes she was getting rid of. She went through a masc phase well before I realized I was trans. Now she's really exploring her femininity, and it's kind of interesting for her to get in touch with her girly side while I explore my transmasculinity and exactly what that means and looks like for me.

Among the clothes my cousin gave me were these two lacy plaid skirts- one black and red and one black and white.

Sometimes it feels like I'm not allowed to be feminine, especially as I'm very early in my transition and still very much viewed as a girl. "Aren't you trans?" Yes. "But you're wearing a skirt..." And? Boys can wear skirts. So can trans guys. I have those skirts, and I'm going to wear them. I have those lacy tanktops she gave me, and I'm going to wear them. I'm going to wear them with my hairy legs and unshaved pits. I'll drink in the stares. I'm done playing gender the "right way."

I want to wear skirts sometimes, but the way a boy can wear a skirt. It feels good to defy expectations, but I'm too scared. People will just think I'm a girl, dressing like a girl. And it hurts.

Screw them and what they think.

Transmascs can be feminine. Transfems can be masculine.

Fuck society. Fuck stereotypes, and gender norms. If I wanna be pretty, no one's gonna stop me. And if I wanna be ugly? That's my choice. No one can tell you how to be you.

Little artblock ramble: I couldn't draw ANYTHING new (I'd been finishing digital versions of some old sketches, like my persona redesign ref, but couldn't draw anything new; I'd also just started a new sketchbook, which is always a struggle) but I was really bored and just put my headphones on full-volume blasting some energetic alt rock (mmm brain fuzz) and started just doodling a really dynamic/expressive sketch of my OC Archer (this dude's helped me through some shit lol). He's a trans guy with a very alt sort of style and he's very dear to my heart in a more personal way than a lot of my other OCs.

Anyway I just decided to have some fun with it and not stress and while I'm not satisfied with the finished rendering, I do really like the drawing.
